It is almost impossible to contact local bank personnel by phone! Your call is shunted to a central answering service ( not the branch) and after listening to a mind bending number of other options you MAY be lucky enough to be connected to a person! This person then MAY connect you to your branch after listening to a long list of recorded 'other options'. It is strange that the bank makes it so difficult to speak to a real person at you own branch. This system is no way attuned to the customer's wish to talk to a 'real person'. Having said all that, the actual folks working at the branch are wonderful........

I do not like banks... only use them when I have too. Well, my life has changed drastically and I was in need of a bank. Sound Community was recommended to me and I am glad I followed up on it. Great people! Really enjoy going in. They understand where I am coming from and did not judge me on my shabby appearance. Really helped me when I needed it most. Truly recommend this bank branch. Especially the home loan department, bank tellers, and the personal banking staff. Great local people who cared about what I needed and helped me get there. Cannot recommend them enough. Thank you again.

Absolutely AWESOME! I love this bank! Staff is super helpful, remembered who I was within 2 visits! An absolutely amazing experience with obtaining a loan for a house! Super fast and easy! 100% recomend them!

Been banking with sound for years, personal checking and savings, along with business checking, C.D and emoney maker acct. My husband and i have never had a issue, they have great customer service, always friendly and ready to help. Wish I could give them 10 stars.

the manager Felicia, talked Bart of Puyallups barts used auto who she informs me is a client and a friend of two years (i am her soon to be divorced husband and never heard about him exept as a rich client of hers)into giving her a free car! wonder how? thats some customer service! wink wink.Jon kacirk the regional manager and Felicia have been having an affair for almost a year and a half. thats how she climbed the ladder so fast! he gave her raises in exchange for an inappropriate work relationship. she plans on renting a house with him now so he can raise my kids!( our divorce isn't even finalized) the manager of creekside...Deena, got fired for stealing from clients this last year (2022) and the manager of the port Angeles branch was fired for the same thing in 2021. this bank is not family friendly and treats customers very poorly. the last time I was there Brandon glared at me like he wanted to do me harm! good thing I was in the drive through! I wouldn't recommend this bank as it doesn't seem to represent the community standards or family values.

I'm giving them a 3 cause it appears noone in Sequim or Port Angeles can answer a phone .I shouldn't have to drive clear across town to ask a simple question. Normally I have no issues with this bank. I even checked the time to be sure they werent all on Lunch and its past the lunch hour. So Im not sure why they are so hard to get ahold of. I guess phones are not that important

Sound Community Bank was the only local bank I found that offered the service I needed, a CD secure loan. They walked me through the process step by step and provided information and reassurance the whole way. I am so grateful for their extra help and personal attention. Highly recommend!

Ever wonder how Sound Community Bank (SCB) can generate $27.6M in revenue? Part of it comes from taking money from children. SCB charged my 13 year old daughter $5 a month in service fees. When I called to ask why, the SCB associate said it was because my child's account was inactive. When I point out that my other two daughters had the same account and same "activity" level but weren't charged $5, he then said it was because the balance was below $100. I then pointed out to him that the account balance was below $100 because they charged her service fee that brought the balance below $100. He basically then had no response.

The bank manager returned my phone call the same day and took care of my needs immediately. Excellent customer service.(Actully this post above is a lie. The original story goes: ....the bank refused to return my fee.....so I left a negative review explaining the story. The bank manager called me and told me IF I delete my negative review, she would then granted me the refund. And she did.)Strongly dislike the bank and their services.#blackmale.

Dina was very helpful at fixing the overdraft issue we had. It’s really unfortunate that they do not have overdraft protection anymore. In the last two months, we have had so many overdraft fees when we have had the account for years and never had one before. I hope the company can fix the new overdraft policy because it is very unfortunate, especially when money is tight due to Covid.
