Karen and Laurie are some of the most thoughtful and caring people I’ve come across. They care so much about the community and strive to their neighbors taken care of when it comes to food and its cost. They work hard to offer pasture raised beef, pork, chicken, milk, honey, eggs, and MANY other things at affordable prices! Everything I’ve had at this farm is delicious - our go-tos are the raw milk, bacon, chorizo, and habanero ground pork! I truly hope these lovely people stick around forever, we are thankful to have them in our area!

A great local raw milk dairy. From looking at their facility they have good sanitation and my family has never gotten sick. My husband's cousins have the largest raw milk dairy (RAW Farm, they legally sell in conventional grocery stores in California due to high standards of hygiene and testing) in the US. They run the Raw Milk Institute and provide certification for other raw dairies based upon their hygiene. At this time Blackjack Valley Farms hasn't pursed certification but they are still providing a safe milk. The Blackjack Valley Farm farmer is happy to answer any questions when you see her in passing. I have met younger workers who seem to be interning. I love that younger people are getting the opportunity to learn animal husbandry and hopefully we can have more raw milk dairies.

Best people ever. I came in this morning to buy real food because that is what I was looking for. And I want to support the locals. I ended up recieving more. They were informative and compassionate. And they have a beautiful dog that runs around the farm! I have never experienced such hospitality and generosity anywhere else before. I will come back. I recommend this place above all other places in Port Orchard!

I first contacted this farm about a 1/2 cow purchase in aug 2023. I was told it would be December when I would be contacted again for the cow. I hadn’t heard anything, so I contacted them on the 15th of December. I received an email back saying it would now be pushed to January. I said that was totally fine and waited. I contacted them again Feb 7th about the 1/2 cow and received no reply back. I am extremely disappointed in this business. I was expecting a 1/2 cow for my family in December. And by February without hearing from them…. We decided to go with another farm.

I just started going here to get our fresh cow’s milk and we love it! Thank you guys :)I’ve made butter, buttermilk and drank coffee with the cream, and made bread with this milk! It’s delicious!
