UPDATE: it’s been 3 years since my first review and I have been seeing Billie Jean the entire time. From long hair blonde highlights, regular waxing, the big chop and now maintaining my pink hair. I can’t recommend her enough. 💕

Do not make an appointment with Billie. She rescheduled myself, husband, and son's haircuts and then canceled on us 30 mins before our appointments. Now my son has to go without or we have to go somehwere else and wait an hour. Plus when I was in getting my nails done a few weeks before she was having to apologize to customers for being almost an hour behind schedule. Horrible customer service, accountability, and integrity.

Requested style: Grow out from losing my hair during chemo and shaving my head. Dana gave me a great cut and color that was just right for the transition to having hair again, and the price is very comparable to other salons, but I feel a bit more reasonable. Great customer service and today is my 4th time getting my hair done and feeling better about everything! Thank you Dana and Brass Ring!

Unfortunately they will not let me schedule an appointment without first making a "consultation" appointment for a hair cut. It's a hair cut not a surgery. I just went down the street, no problem.

Okay, walking in, I wasn't too sure if it was a good fit for my daughter (she is 16 and has autism, and her head of hair was quite a mess)... while the salon is beautiful by design and clean as can be, it seemed very nonchalant that we were there. Once their customers were done, my kid had their attention. We had Tami cut n style her hair, and because my daughters hair was so unmanageable, she moved appointments back and took the time to care for my daughter the way she truly needed it. Best part is, their wash, cut, and style goes for $40 and she just charged $5 more. I couldn't possibly let us walk away after taking up almost 3 appt slots by paying only $5 more than their base price, so I gave her a hefty tip as well! My kid loves her cut, she looks really cute, and we can finally manager her naturally curly hair again! Thank you Brass Ring and Tami!!! The photos below are before and after the salon got ahold of her! ?

I actually didn't end up getting my hair done here, because when I showed up for my appointment today, there were various circumstances outside of the stylists control that made me unable to get what I wanted done with my hair. Therefore, this isnt a review about their actual services, per se. However, my stylist (Billie Jean) was sincerely apologetic, because she knew I was hoping to get my hair done before Sunday (today is Tuesday), and even contacted a hair stylist friend of hers at a different salon and was able to get me an appointment with her before Sunday, despite the super short notice and time frame. The fact that she did her best to help me out given the situation and went out of her way to do so when she didn't have to at all means the world to me - basically, the main point I'm trying to make here is that the staff is incredibly kind and helpful, and from my short time there, definitely seem to know their stuff. Thank you Billie! Next time I need a haircut/trim, I'll definitely come back :)
