I want to give a major shout out to Clover Valley Vet! We got home yesterday evening and our horse was cast in his stall. We were able to finally get him up but, I worried that he was colicing because he was trying to gag and drop down again. I called our normal vet who said another vet was on call and that they would call me back in 20 minutes. I still, 24 hours later, have not got a call from our normal vet or the on call vet. My friends referred me to Clover Valley. I worried because in the message it stated that their emergency was only for current clients. When the lady on the phone Answered, I stated that I was not a current client but, none of the vets had called me back at all. She put me on hold and called the on-call doctor, She got back on the phone and said that they would call me. Not even five minutes later the doctor called and said she was on her way and that it would be 40 minutes. Thankfully, he was not colicing, but he was choking, which is still scary, she fixed him up right away. Our horse normally doesn’t like the vet either and he didn’t really give a fuss at all with her. I don’t know what the turnout would’ve been if I wasn’t able to get a hold of Clover Valley and for that, we are very thankful. Thank you again so much for taking care of our boy, even when you didn’t have to.

They show up and we're very professional and treated my herd with love and kindness. The only reason I didn't give a five star rating was they did not collect a fescal sample at that time.

In October of 2023, my pack goat Toggenburg / Alpine wether fell ill. Dr. Worley did an amazing job with his examination, ultrasound and blood work. It was determined that he needed a rumen transfer. I had to go back home and bring another healthy goat for her to get a rumen donation from. She performed the unpleasant but vital task flawlessly. I very likely wouldn't have him now without her expertise. I am beyond grateful she was there to save him.

My dog almost bled out due to cutting a vein during breast cancer surgery to remove a mass, I understand things like this can happen but they neglected to send the mass to the lab and attempted to hide that fact. There lack of honesty and any attempt to aid in helping the situation cost me $20,000 to other hospitals to save her life from a surgery that may or may not have completely removed a mass that lab results would have confirmed had they been sent

Severely misdiagnosed my dog, over medicated him, and now I don't know who to believe or what to do. Thanks.

Had a very bad experience with another vet in the area, so I asked around and this place was recommended. One of the better recommendations I have ever received. I couldn't be happier with the service, friendly staff, and reasonable costs.

On 2/2/2023, I took my 12-week old puppy to this vet because he needed to get a puppy exam (he came from a breeder and in order for the health guarantee to be valid, he'd need to see a vet within 72 hours) and a fecal done. Unfortunately our vet (Purdy Veterinary Hospital in Gig Harbor; absolutely an amazing vet and definitely worth the drive if you live a little further; great bedside manner, everybody is super friendly and does not talk down to you) was booked pretty far out, so we called around to see if there were any vets that would be able to fit us in quickly. And that's when we discovered Clover Valley. When we had made the appointment, we had specifically said that we only need a exam & fecal done. He was not due for any shots until he turned 16 weeks. I had brought in his vaccination record, apparently there were some dates that were mixed up, so they deemed those unusable. However, I do know for sure that he has been vaccinated. Because they thought they were falsified, they vaccinated him without my permission. They did not tell me until AFTER they did it.They prescribed him dewormer and flea medicine when we specifically asked for ONLY an exam and a fecal. He had already been dewormed and he is on flea & tick supplements. They did not tell me the price of the visit until after they gave me my card back. When they came out to tell me what happened, they had asked if I wanted advice on puppy care. I had said that I have 8 other dogs at home but they still continued to tell me about how to properly care for a puppy (desensitizing, socialization, etc), as if I have never taken care of one.During that time, multiple times the vet (I believe it was Dr. Brown) insinuated I had no money. For example: she recommended we start heartworm medication then said "it probably isn't in your budget with 9 dogs", the same for flea & tick medicine, and recommended cheaper food brands because "it probably isn't in my budget to feed something like Purina Pro Plan".Also, when they had taken him back, they did not carry him, they walked him on a leash in the parking lot to the building. He has not completed all his vaccines; his last vaccine would be at 16 weeks (he is 12 weeks currently). You would think the vet would be more careful about these things. The vet tech who had taken him back asked what I was feeding him, when I had said what I was feeding him (Diamond Naturals; our vet approves and has no issues with it), she made a disgusted face for a split second and then recommended brands like: Purina Pro Plan, Orijen, Science Diet, etc. All my dogs do really well on Diamond Naturals (healthy skin & coat, good bowel movements, not gassy, etc).I normally don't write bad reviews but they put my puppy's health at-risk and that is not okay!I do not recommend this place at all.

Was five stars first few times I came. Pup seemed to love staff which is why left Purdy Vet. Although last 2 times, first waited 30 mins to get my dog to be seen just for weight. This visit called and verified what I wanted and came wired ten mins( included hanging up for call back) then brought out wrong prescription and still waiting for correction.

Vet did blood work for my dog and found possible cancer. She didn’t reach out or inform me of such a serious diagnosis until I called and inquired about the results a few months later. Don’t bring your pets here. When I called her out on it, she laughed and said I should have checked in sooner. Disgusting business! Hopefully someone can save my dog in time. This place is a joke!

We have been clients at Clover Valley for 6-7 years at this point. I took my last Golden there quite a few times and was very satisfied with the care they gave her. They helped me through the last year of her life when she had osteosarcoma and even came to the house when it was time to let her go. The kindness and compassion was wonderful. I even started taking my Mom's little terrier mix in for care and in the beginning it was great and affordable. Then Covid hit...when we were finally able to go back to the clinic I wasn't so thrilled with having to relay information to the Vet through the tech and then having the Vet come out and tell me about the treatment given. Then came the bill. Holy smokes! The prices really went up. The last trip I made there with my current Golden for an ear infection was the last straw for me. The office call was $80 plus a fee to see the Vet was another $80...so $160 just going in the door...which I still couldn't do because of their covid restrictions. Then came the treatment and meds...for a grand total of $250! Being retired that's just not something we can afford. Another thing I don't like is never having the same Vet for very long. I want a Vet that gets to know my dog and any issues they have not a new one every few months. It makes me sad to say this but we won't be going back.

At first this was a great vet, then covid happened and now this has been a terrible experience. We were told signing up for their yearly package for our horses was this amazing thing they offer. Well, what they didn't tell us is they would be late every single scheduled visit , they would only be available certain days of the week, and they would cancel multiple appointments. I understand covid has impacted their availability but when I schedule a visit for my horses multiple weeks out then get a phone call cancelling two days before it's not really acceptable.
