I would like to write and let everyone know how Gary in the Floral Department of the Port Orchard Fred Meyer is the best. I only go to him now as he does such a fantastic job in creating floral arrangements for any occasion. Thank you Gary! Victoria Yoder

We shop here for our groceries almost exclusively. Produce is always fresh and restocked several times a day. The store is clean and rarely are they out of a normally stocked item. Prices are very competitive. Deli always has fresh (usually prepackaged) salads, lots of fresh made sandwiches and a good selection of meats.

Shop this store regularly. Only one problem, they put so much in the isles two carts can't get by then add the restocking and it gets frustrating. All that shelving and they still need the isles to sell stuff?

The pharmacy is excellent at this location. Everyone I have come across has been cheerful and happy to help. The pharmacists have always taken the time to explain clearly and answer any questions regarding the medication without making you feel like you are taking up their time.
My only complaint is poor cell service inside and no Wi-Fi, which makes the whole digital coupon experience a nightmare. Customer service and overall helpfulness and positive attitudes are in abundance, however.

I think they follow regular customers like criminals instead of talking to them like people.

“At Fred Meyer, an unfortunate pattern has emerged where white employees seem to belittle wounded combat veterans who are not white. As a wounded combat veteran myself, I’ve received two Valor awards for courage under fire. Due to my injuries, I use a stroller with my toddler. However, I’ve observed that non-white individuals using strollers are unfairly labeled as thieves without any direct confrontation. This behavior is rooted in racism, and it’s disheartening to experience such discrimination within the confines of a Fred Meyer store. In contrast, I’ve found that Costco, unlike Fred Meyer, would never engage in racial discrimination against a wounded American veteran. Unfortunately, this situation seems to persist, even on an ordinary Sunday.”

I had to wait 10 minutes and eventually called the store to get helped in the alcohol aisle....Do not do Gig work here!!! And the self-checkout machines are beyond way too sensitive and alert every other item you scan... avoid this place.

Store is always packed with people stocking items. Lots of aisles can be blocked. Fred Myers is laid out a lot differently than other grocery stores so it can be hard to find things. It's better to know your prices on items before you think your getting a deal. If you do your shopping right though you can save a lot of money plus fuel points.

I just had one of the best interactions at this location. Liz at self checkout was so incredibly helpful and kind, I was having trouble getting an item to ring up properly and she was so fast and friendly about it. You can tell that she really enjoys her job and the people she interacts with. I will definitely be coming here more often if this is the type of customer service that’s offered.
