This hotel was very clean and the front desk staff was very friendly. They have two massage chairs with a large TV in a room opposite from the front desk. I used it and it helped soothe my muscles after being in the car for hours. They have Cucku water purifier dispensers for both cold and hot water. Breakfast was decent with coffee, juices, tea, fresh waffles you can make yourself, fruit, yogurt, etc. There seems to be unhoused people living in RV's outside the parking lot. In the morning, there was a parking police (?) driving around marking the tires of the RV's. Breakfast room requires room keys to get in. There was a man who walked in without shoes or socks, piled up food on a plate, dropped couple containers of yogurt on the floor (made a mess), took all the sausages & hash browns, and went upstairs. My husband wondered if he may be living in a car outside the hotel & come in every few days to shower & stock up on food. The lady tending the breakfast crowd was puzzled as all the "hot food" items disappeared as soon as she put them out (she didn't see the man and other guests asked for more hot foods pretty much a few minutes after she had refilled the containers). She was diligent in refilling the breakfast items and helpful to the guests. Overall, this place exceeded my expectations for the price and if I'm in the area again, I'd stay here again.

They do not accept cats in their " pet-friendly" rooms. Not obvious on the website nor to some employees when asked prior to booking. MAKE IT MORE OBVIOUS ON YOUR WEBSITE-YOU DO NOT ACCEPT CATS! Like posting "Dog- friendly Rooms only"

I'll try to make this short..I had one week to plan my stay in Port Orchard. My uncle had booked our room here through Priceline but somehow it got cancelled during my flight. Luckily my aunty and an employee, I believe her name was Nicole, was able to find a room for us. It was a smooth check in late at night and we got settled in right away. I noticed poop, I believe it was human poo, in the parking lot. That was gross. I noticed a really creepy book, sunglasses and a set of headphones under my pillow. I literally flipped the book, took the fastest glance at the title and then I was completely freaked out. Picked them all up with a napkin and dropped it off at the front. I was super spooked and couldn't sleep my first night. When we first entered our room it was like a sauna, heat on high and Disney channel was playing. Well, the next evening when we returned, she caught me and explained what happened with my booking. A guy working in the morning gave my room to someone else and then realized that wasn't the room for her so they had her relocate to another room. The room and bed looked untouched when we arrived. I slept with a little more ease the next few nights until check out. I was offered a room at a family members house down the road but since I had already gave my cc, I just stayed. The two ladies I had encountered were the sweetest. I love that they had cereal, milk, juice, and apples at the front for my little one. We couldn't pass the front desk without those items in hand. During our stay I didn't notice any homeless or sketchy activity going on but I was always on high alert knowing what I've read from other reviews. For the price I paid each night, it wasn't so bad. I'm usually not used to staying in these types of places but it sufficed during an unexpected trip. There are several places to eat across the street and parking is free. But the shower nozzle in my room was completely set up backwards lol. I had to FaceTime my plumber to figure it out. Turning the nozzle to the red (hot) actually has an arrow that points the opposite direction (blue - cold). What lol. I have no idea how I could'nt find a hidden arrow on it..

So here is the thing. The people and employees are super nice but my room was FILTHY. I opened the door to my room and was hit with an incredibly pungent smell that we couldn't identify that lasted our entire stay. The floors were sticky, bathtub drain was clogged, I had a difficult time sleeping with the constant sound of doors slamming so I tried to turn on bathroom vent fan to help drown it out but that somehow made it worse. We were supposed to stay there for 9 nights but we only lasted 1. The room smell was just too gross (like someone's dog peed on the heater)

We were so disappointed to get here and hear there is no loner a pool like advertised and the jacuzzi was broken. I'm running a race today and picked this hotel because they said they had both a jacuzzi and pool.

This place has become my home away from while I travel for work. The hotel is clean and the employees are incredible. A special shout out to Jenny who goes above and beyond for me every time I check in, she is the BEST!!!My only compliant would be their fire alarm system. It's gone off everyday for the three days which seems to be a bit much considering there was no fire.I will continue stay here as long as my work is here in Port Orchard!

Pretty darn happy with our 3-night stay at this particular hotel. My girlfriend loves having a jetted tub in the room and so I was able to reserve one for her at this Red Lion. Room was spacious and comfortable. We had a king bed and it too was comfy . Room was clean and smelled fresh at check-in. Great water pressure and lots of hot water for a large jetted tub and showers. All of the electronics seemed to work perfectly, including microwave, mini-fridge, coffee maker, and television. My only minor complaint is the coffee in the lobby, just didn't like the brand....BUT, it was fresh! Staff were super friendly and helpful. I never tried their breakfast to-go bags but my gf they were fine. We'll stay again if in the area. OH, there's 2 fast food joints, a restaurant chain, and gas station with a convenience store right next to the hotel.

Staff was polite and property/ room were clean, but there were some real frustrations. I booked on an app but also spoke to staff over the phone and said we were bringing two dogs and was never told that there was a $20 PER PET charge so $100 room ended up being almost $150. Kind of a lot for two well-behaved dogs who are house trained, never made a peep and don't shed. We also had a king bed that only had two small pillows on it and no additional pillows anywhere in the room. When we asked for a couple more, they had to search all over for 10-15 mins and only came up with one. I have back pain issues, so another couple pillows were really needed for sleep. But the worst part was that our room was on the first floor near an exit door that must've been used by staff for various things in the morning, because there was CONSTANT door slamming from 4:30am to 7:30am when we finally got up because we couldn't even try to sleep anymore. I should've said something but was too tired and wanted to just leave.

This place is AWFUL!! It's noisey and dirty. When we checked in and the toilet was broken and the curtains in our room didn't close. We were also charged $100 pet deposit but didn't even have a pet with us! Never, ever again!!
