Hours: Salmonberry Books is a Port Orchard indie bookstore, selling new and used books, graphic novels & comics, bookish art, and vinyl records. It is located inside a small mini mall near the port orchard harbor, inside a quaint building shared with other local shops, including a restaurant and small grocery store. Street parking is available but limited. For such a small space, Salmonberry has an impressive selection of books, stickers, model kits, puzzles, records, and cards. The generous graphic novel section and lots of queer representation on the shelves are highlights. No matter which bookseller is in, there is always an excellent time with recommendations and fun music, and overall an excellent vibe. The store is well organized and clean. It feels like stumbling into a secret world made just for book lovers, with that cozy, familiar scent of well-loved books. Salmonberry is a little coastal haven for readers, dreamers, and wanderers alike.
