It is the Olympic Peninsula’s mothership for urban and field sketchers and plein air watercolorists, and it offers workshops with notable artists, collaborates on arts events with NorthWind and Fort Worden, and has a thriving mail‑order business. Sweet little factory of field guide supplies for nature journalling, urban and cafe sketching.

I finally made the trip to Port Townsend and checked out the Art Toolkit store in person. It’s larger than I expected and carries a lot of different brands of sketching and journaling materials, not just the Art toolkit products. I was able to demo a lot of tools (pencils, pens, brushes, etc.)

stumbled on this shop while in Port Townsend, and found some top-shelf quality paper and pens that I couldn't leave without. What a nice little store
