It offers new and used quality musical instruments for all levels, with the largest selection of acoustic guitars and ukuleles in the area. The shop has a great selection of instruments, including affordable beginner guitars, high-end acoustics, harmonicas, kids musical instruments, hand percussion, keyboards, ukes, mandolins, banjos, violins, cellos, micro basses, and accessories. It is probably not the place for specialty woodwind or brass instruments, but it does carry accessories like reeds and valve oil. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, courteous, professional, and kind. They treat every customer well, explain instrument features, and help customers find the right one. The shop is set up beautifully to browse and provides music lessons, rentals, and repairs. The repair work is described as beautiful and perfect quality. The business also sells items on consignment. Customers report wonderful experiences and strongly recommend supporting this local small business, describing it as one of Port Townsend's gems and one of the nicer privately owned music stores on the west coast.
