We just moved back to the area from New England and our first stop was Sluys. It was Halloween and we couldn't help but notice the clever "Redrum" display in this shop's window. So when family came to visit in December we went back. We had SO much fun in this shop. Mostly searching through buckets of rubber duckies. The owner was very friendly and helpful and treated us amazingly well. Thank you! We cannot wait to come back and get serious about some book shopping!

Five stars! I looove this bookstore! I was there last week with my nephew. It has a really nice, relaxing vibe. John was working and he was an absolute delight to talk to. I’d never been to Poulsbo and he was so knowledgeable about the area. I live in Seattle but would go back to Poulsbo just to go to this bookstore again!

Since this place is under new ownership I have been there half as much. Staff seems board now and less welcoming. Still love the books!!

Lovely store in a lovely town! The owners brother attending the store and was extremely knowledgeable about the products, engaging, and gave great recommendations for places to eat and things to see while visiting. I loved the "blind date with a book section"! Such a fun idea if you're not sure what you're looking for and ready for a literary adventure.

While this business has a new owner - and the inventory seems a bit more sparse - and perhaps moving in a slightly different direction, the person working in the store at the time of our visit was delightful. He introduced himself as the owner's brother and brought a lot of positive energy into the space. He was helping customers navigate some of the changes to the store, while also offering invitations to local events. We really enjoyed the communal feeling we got from our time perusing. We always enjoy visiting this shop when we're in the area, and we look forward to seeing how it grows and changes in the coming months, as the new owner fully realizes her vision.Pro-Tip: If you, like us, came here partly for the large soap inventory, you should know that these particular items are much more limited at this time.Pro-Tip 2: They have a great assortment of lighthearted romance novels in this store! Make sure to take 1 (or 3) home :)Previous Review: We always love stopping-by this lovely bookstore, as the products have been so masterfully curated. We were lucky enough to meet the owner on this visit, and not surprisingly, she was absolutely delightful. She even pointed me towards a book by an indie author, which was completely aligned with my interests and passions. As an indie author myself, it was heartwarming to have the owner present me a book option that was not necessarily "mainstream," and therefore perhaps too often overlooked. These are the kind of businesses I love to support! Along with my new book, I was also thrilled to grab a couple of delicious smelling soaps and some quirky stickers. Such a glorious shopping experience! I will definitely be back.Pro Tip: Pay a little more to buy your books local. We need these kinds of establishments, as they offer us the lovely spaces and human interactions those Amazon deliveries just cannot :)

If you want a fun & cute bookstore with a “treat yourself vibe” then this is definitely the place. Grab a local coffee and pop in. The owners are down to Earth, genuine people which makes the experience all the better. Definitely visiting again.

My new favorite bookstore! Gotta love a place where you can buy healthy handmade soaps and a new delightful read to go along with it! Not to mention the delightful, friendly staff who offer up great book recommendations! I will make it a point to visit this place every time I come to Poulsbo (and will come to Poulsbo just to visit this place ?).

This is not a pop in for 2 minutes kind of place. 30 mins minimum of delightful conversation, finding things you didn't expect, and admiring a skeleton covered in rubber ducks. This place is heaven for anyone who loves books, magic, and bath bombs. This is one of my must-visit places anytime I go to poulsbo.

Such a lovely store. Soap, bath fizzers, books, stickers, and pins! You can tell she really loves what she does. This shop was great to step into on our walk.

I love everything about this feminist, fun, self care bookstore. It is the first place me and my best friend go when she visits. The staff are lovely and knowledgeable, excellent selection of romance books and books that celebrate diversity, best rubber duckie collection ever, the edit bath bombs are pure luxury ? ? ?

I have exclusively purchased bath bombs from lush until I found this place. Their bath bombs are pleasantly fragrance and very cleverly named for any occasion. The fizz factor is a 10/10. I will not be going anywhere else not to mention the amazing books and other great surprises in every corner. I highly recommend. The perfect location for total self care.

Not at all child friendly - there are several signs using the word ‘dick’ and there are multiple adult toys on display right next to the cash register. Not something I need my young daughters seeing.
