They cut my hair but not really the style I asked for according to the pictures. I showed a couple photos but I guess the message wasn’t received as to what I asked for. Not a good hair cut at all.

I went here for my very first time getting my hair done professionally and Melanie was absolutely amazing. She was super nice and really great to talk to! I have super bad anxiety and my hair has never looked good so I was a little hesitant at first. My coworkers got me this gift for my birthday and now I know why!! As soon as I got there it smelt absolutely amazing and everyone was so nice and had such beautiful hair!! The receptionist was so nice and welcoming and just felt a warm feeling as soon as I walked in! Only there for four hours but it felt like 30 minutes! My hair has never looked this good and I will definitely be coming back for their products AND their service!! I will forever recommend this place it seriously changed my life and how I perceive myself in just 4 hours!

I came to bon cheveux a month ago to get my hair to a lighter brown. I have been box dyeing my hair for a couple years and knew it could be a challenge. So I told my stylist (Magen) to go as light as she possibly could considering the circumstances. Somehow she managed to make my hair DARKER than it originally was. I made several comments before she finally called the owner over (Christina). Christina tried to convince me several times that it was an improvement from the hair I came in with. I was livid considering it was the complete opposite of what I requested. I was extremely unhappy and they still made me pay over $170. I want to make a point that Magen was extremely unprofessional this whole appointment and made several upsetting comments. This was during the time period in which the titan submersible was missing and she told me they deserved it since they were billionaires. And when she found out I went to school in Pullman she made comments on the recent tragedy in Moscow and told me she visited once and wasn’t surprised this happened as she thought it looked like a place where someone would get m*rdered. Despite all this I decided I would give the salon a second chance. When Christina (the owner) walked me to the front desk to pay she watched as I made a new appointment in July. This appointment was made with a new stylist (Melanie) in the afternoon. It’s really upsetting that the owner couldn’t even offer to fix my hair herself. So I came back a few days ago to hopefully go lighter. Once I sat in the chair and explained the situation, Melanie told me that she didn’t have enough time to do it and that I should have booked an appointment earlier in the day. She called the owner over and Christina told me the same thing. I was confused considering Christina was literally there when the appointment was booked and she knew exactly what I wanted to do with my hair. She then told me it must have been the receptionists fault. It is absolutely ridiculous that the owner can’t claim responsibility and instead decides to throw her employee under the bus. She then tells me “at least you’ll be happy to know that Magen is no longer here”. It’s important to note that while I was waiting at the front I heard Christina’s appointment call and cancel. Could she not have helped Melanie with my hair to go faster? Could she not have offered to stay a bit after closing to finish my hair? My appointment was for 2:15 pm and they close at 5. That’s a whole three hours to work on my hair. I am extremely disappointed with bon cheveux, but more importantly I am outraged by Christina’s actions. She failed to take responsibility for her salon and chose to blame others. She failed to help rectify my situation. And most importantly she failed to positively represent her salon and act as a trustworthy and dependable OWNER of an establishment.

Sarae cut my hair and did a phenomenal job. It’s been one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had. She made sure to ask lots of questions beforehand and checked in at the end to make sure my expectations were met. She didn’t rush and it shows: my layers look natural and meticulous. Typically don't go to a salon for a men's haircut but I would be lying if I said I didn't enjoy the atmosphere the ladies at Bon Cheveux create. Always satisfied with my hair cut so now Ae is the only one I let go near me with clippers.

I was so blessed to have found my stylist , Ae , at this salon. She is incredibly gifted and I receive numerous compliments on my hair between cuts. This salon is clean and the staff is alot of fun.Call today and hook up with Ae.

Ae is absolutely amazing at color, cuts, and style. She even did my hair for my wedding, and it turned out so well that she became my regular stylist in 02/2022. She listens to what I want and is very meticulous in her work.

After 2 appointments made and canceled by the salon, I went in for a third try....After waiting 15 minutes I was told that the stylist wasn't there!!! I will not bother with this place again!!!

I have to give a shout out to Ae Riebel. She is an amazing stylist and master at hair color. I have had the pleasure of letting Ae cut, color and style not only my hair but my daughters as well. Ae takes her time with her clients and is very detailed about her work. She is a true artist, and is very detailed with each client. It is truly her goal to make sure her clients are happy. For any other review saying otherwise on this page, let me tell you that I disagree. I have had Ae work on my blonde for years. I have never had any problem. Obviously if you are bleaching your hair, you need to ensure that you are maintaining it in between visits to the salon. Bleach will always make your hair fragile, that's why you should wait in between treatments and use the proper maintenance conditioner/ shampoo.Ae is very meticulous about her clients having health hair, and she is always open to different ideas. I have followed Ae to different salons because I only want her to cut, style and dye my hair. As well as my two daughters. She has done , full, partials and balayage to my hair and my daughters. We have been satisfied 100% every time. If you need a stylist look no further. Ae is the way to go! While I have not had the other stylists at Bon Cheveux work on my hair, I have been able to observe them. These girls are great, the salon is clean, friendly and fun!

We recently moved back to Indiana, but I was seeing Ae here while I lived in Washington. I really liked her as a person.I decided to go blonde for the first time while I was seeing her, because I thought she did a good job on her clients color after following her on Instagram. I ended up getting a partial, full, and another partial balayage over the course of a year (February, September, and February).I noticed that I was losing a lot of hair, especially after I got the full balayage, but I was new to color, so I figured it was just part of the process. The third time I added color, I got a surprise haircut at the end—surprise because we had not scheduled the time for it, and I had no say in how it was cut.My hair continued to fall out and the breakage was so bad in the bottom 4-6 inches, I returned to have it cut off. Over time I put together that something had not gone quite right, but I didn’t realize how bad it was until I saw a new stylist tonight.My new stylist took a look at my hair and said that it was so thin in the front half of my head that it indicated I had experienced significant hair loss due to over-processing. My curtain bangs are so badly damaged from bleaching, she didn’t want to cut them until the color has grown out quite a bit.She spent the evening explaining how badly my hair has been taken care of in the past year, and how much time it will take to get it back to normal.I’m really disappointed and disheartened, because I trusted Ae and asked between color sessions if it would be safe to do it again before we put anything on the schedule. I bought and applied products she suggested to keep my color treated hair healthy. As a stylist she should have known better than to continue bleaching my hair and been candid with me about the reality of my hair situation.I believe that Ae is an independent stylist/renter at Bon Cheveux, so I don’t know what the rest of the staff is like. Ae was the stylist assigned to me when I called to make an appointment at the salon, so if her work isn’t in line with their salon standards, I should have been assigned to a Bon Cheveux staff member rather than someone working independently. Maybe then I would have had a better experience.All of that said, based on my experience here, I wouldn’t recommend having this salon color or cut your hair. It’s going to take years for me to grow out this damage and fix it.

My long-time stylist retired, and I've been to 3 so far, looking for the right match. I found Joy today! My last cut was a mess. I showed Joy a picture of what I hoped for. She took a look at my hair carefully, and then cut it perfectly. As she dried and styled it, my curls bounced back, nicely framing my face. For a tired mom, I look prettier now than I expected. What more can you ask for? The salon is beautiful- lots of natural light and very spacious. The receptionist gave me sparkling water and the waiting area has a nice view of the trees.

My girlfriend had a hair appointment with Jess this morning after a consultation appointment a few weeks ago. We were welcome when we arrived and with less than five minutes brought my girlfriend to her work station which was organized and clean. While my girlfriend was getting her hair colored, I was able to sit in a big comfy leather chair and watched shows on my tablet. When Jess finished my girlfriend's hair, I was very surprised. She managed to not the look my girlfriend was wanting spot on even with the multi color blend. I definitely recommend this salon to anyone wanting an amazing hair cut or color.

Just went there today on 06/16/22 and got my first time hair done the stylist lady aka Jess. She did amazing job with my hair the way I wanted I'll be going back in the future when I need it.
