This used to be a great compound pharmacy. Now you wait 30 mins on the phone (second time just recently) to bounce back and forth from 1 to 2 people ahead of me. Finally drove there before they closed to find the prescription came in. Oh, and yes they know there is a problem with the phone system. Gig Harbor Apothecary has better phone and customer service.

First, the customer service is not friendly. but that's nothing. My husband came in to pick up a new prescription for me. No one explained to him how to use the device it was in, thus when I tried to figure out how to use it, I wasted about 2 doses because the device had no instructions. They're expensive. They don't take insurance for what I needed. They are unhelpful.

If I had the option to obtain my medications elsewhere, I would do so without hesitation. Cascade has repeatedly demonstrated a profound level of incompetence, jeopardizing the health of its customers in the process. Timely access to medications is not just a convenience—it’s a critical necessity for maintaining health. Yet, Cascade consistently fails to fulfill this basic responsibility.
Their system habitually neglects to auto-renew a portion of my prescriptions, and attempts to resolve this through customer service are met with excuses rather than solutions. When I request managerial intervention, I’m told that managers leave notes in the system—but clearly, those notes are ignored. This glaring lack of accountability and effective oversight within their leadership is deeply troubling, especially given the life-impacting nature of their business.
To any ambitious pharmacist considering opening a competing location: I would happily invest in your endeavor. The bar set by Cascade is so appallingly low that surpassing their service would be effortless, and the community would undoubtedly benefit from a more reliable alternative.

My neighbor's visit was ruined by the disdainful employee up front. She was rude, dismissive, and openly hostile, making him feel unwelcome and unimportant. Her unprofessional behavior and lack of customer service were appalling. He vows never to return and warns others to avoid this place.

Yes they have meds and affordable costs, but its just to get you into the American healthcare process. They sent me meds that will expire before I can use them. And will not allow me to send it back because the mailing package it came in was opened, but the expiration date was on the meds INSIDE of the mailed package. I would have not known the meds expired without opening them. They are not helpful in customer service and need a better system in place for it.

They are seriously incompetent. 1st they let my medication sit for 2 weeks on their shelf, then I called asked about my prescription. They said " oops you were right. We'll get that out to you." Then I get a call that my card wasn't going through. Turns out they mistook the number. Theeeeennnnnn I get another call saying my card still won't work. Clearly they were doing something incorrectly because when I told them to forget it, I'll come and get it, I get there and use that exact card 20 minutes later at the location. I will do whatever I can to not deal with these incompetent admins they have working there. Stay away from this headache of you can!

Called in my first prescription on behalf of a patient. Was spoken to by both the front desk person and the pharmacist in an extremely condescending way. I am pretty conditioned to being treated with respect as a prescribing doctor, especially by compounding pharmacies! Wow! If they treat me this way, how are they going to treat patients that are in more vulnerable positions. Do not recommend.

It's unfortunate when poor customer service happens when you are a newer customer. I was called by the pharmacy regarding my prescription 2 days ago and was asked if I wanted to pick it up that day and I said I would pick it up the next day. Went in 2 days later and the prescription was never filled. I had left work to make a special trip to pick up the prescription and did not have time to wait the 30 minutes it would take for them to fill it while I waited. No explanation as to why I was told it would be ready and yet was not filled even though it was in their system. And when I was originally called, no one informed me that they had moved and I ended up driving to the old location first.Also, the new location is more difficult to get in and out of since it is right on the highway at a major intersection. Difficult to make a left turn out of the parking lot and to make a left turn into the parking lot if coming from the north.I thought they would be convenient since they are in my area but I will need to look into other options.

I am unreservedly positive in my opinion of this pharmacy, they are a pleasure to work with when I need to get refills and I spend less, a lot less, than I did previously even with insurance coverage.No kidding, the out-of-pocket for my insurance “covered“ medicine was more than the straight up price here.I’d rather not be sick in general, but this business definitely makes things a little easier and that means a lot when everything else is so hard.

I liked cascade before they moved to the new building. New building smells strong of mold as soon as you walk in. Even my cream medication that I got from them smells like mold. I don’t see how everyone who works there is not getting sick…
