The rooms were comfortable, though the bathroom was pretty small. The entire staff were very friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was good and very well attended to.
The location is not in the historic area by the wayerfront. But a very short car ride or a 10-15 minute walk will get you there. Would recommend staying here.

Upon arrival, our room had foul odor, the outdoor hot tub was not working, we immediately asked for a refund and the hotel refused to give us one.

We enjoyed our one night stay at the guesthouse inn and suite in Poulsbo,WA. Friendly and helpful staff, clean room, free parking, free Wifi, continental breakfast, close to the waterfront Marine and the shops in town. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family. My only complaint (small complaint-my personal opinion): The continental breakfast only had one meat selection... sausage patties and no scrambled eggs. No bacon? We will come back and stay at this location again sometime soon.
Rooms: The room we stayed in was clean. The hotel was recently upgraded, I believe. The room service staff were very pleasant.
Walkability: There are two stores, several restaurants, a coffe shop, and a nice (small) park within walking distance of the hotel.

We booked here for a quick weekend. I don't know who the girls were at check-in, but we loved them. They were friendly, answered questions, gave suggestions on local spots... the ladies that made the breakfasts... so nice as well.
Breakfast is much nicer than most places.
The rooms are smaller than some hotels, I suppose. But! My husband is 6'3 and he fit fine. He would definitely complain if there was an issue. I liked the room.
For those negative reviews--> I don't mind a room that's a little outdated if it's quiet and clean. The rooms were fine to me and it's definitely quiet here.
For pet friendly folks: They have really nice area for you to walk your dog. Has baggies, shade and a seating area too. The nightly pet fee is worth it.
I didn't hear any pets and it doesn't smell like pets.
They also had a spot for smokers. That's not my thing, but I'm impressed that they thought of everyone here.
Cozy lobby to chat sit and chat in.
We found other guests to be friendly. Our stay here was positive.
I don't know why the negative reviews, honestly. We'd stay again and we'll reccomend them.
Nearby activities: Nice downtown area. Once you drive, you can just walk store to store to shop and eat. The staff will give you info on what's around.

Our room was nice and a little larger than most hotel rooms, but that bathroom was tiny.
Breakfast was basic usual hotel breakfast, and probably would have been better if we had arrived for it before the very end of service.
I enjoyed the outdoor hot tub.
We had neighbors in the rooms on either side of us and we barely heard them.
A 20 ish minute walk to downtown with excellent restaurants and shops. I will definitely come again.
Keep in mind that Uber Lyft services are nearly non existent here.
Walkability: Short walk to tourist attractions and seafood restaurants.

Overall, it was a pleasant experience ☺️. Staff was very prompt and courteous. Housekeeping stopped by in the morning to make sure we were well stocked on toiletries. Continental breakfast was on point; lots of options. The dining room was clean and very welcoming. My kids enjoyed the hot tub.
My only complaints are that there was inadequate ventilation/privacy for the in- suite jacuzzi tub and the carpet was uneven, dirty and outdated.
Close to downtown and local market. Kid/pet friendly.
Would stay again.

Nice place, people are polite, clean. Reasonable.
All I’ll Say is you’re gonna get no bacon, or a lot of bacon. ? (you had to be there)
I recommend. Pics of breakfast from all the days

When they say walls are thin, they were not kidding. On the main floor surrounded by kids yelling and someone above us walking back and forth (sounded like stomping) starting at 4am. Also heard Tv next door blarring until 1am. It's not the staff's fault, and I didn't want to call as this probably is a common complaint. The rooms are very cozy and heater and ac work great. Breakfast was standard, waffles, cereal, muffins, eggs, and sausage. If you want a good night's rest, try the top floor?

I gave this motel two stars for a few reasons. Firstly, the room appeared to have been recently renovated, but the dark color scheme made it feel even darker than it was. However, the real problem was the size of the bed. While this was only a criticism of the design, it didn't bother me since I only used the room for sleeping. Despite booking a standard double room, the bed was so tiny that it was almost impossible for my partner and me to sleep comfortably. We were so close to each other that we couldn't move without touching. The motel offered us an upgrade to a room with a queen-sized bed for an additional $20 per night - which we declined.
If all the rooms had regular-sized beds, I would have given the motel a higher rating.
However, the breakfast was one of the best I've had in a motel. The lady who prepares it seems to enjoy her job. You can tell by the delicious spread she puts out. There are many different types of cakes and bagels to choose from. I really enjoyed the addition of fresh fruits and yogurt!

This place was clean, organized, and friendly. Breakfast lady, Karen, was sweet and kept everything stocked. Opened the spa for us a little early. Breakfast room was authentically pleasing. Kid friendly. Accommodated late check out. The managers were sweet. We will be visiting again when we come back!
Things to improve:
Phone in room didn't seem to work- easy fix.
Not a smart TV-we used our computer for a kids movie. ?
