I am obsessed with this book store. It’s small, so there’s a little less selection, but I love book stores with a lot of staff recommendations. They have an entire wall with staff recommendations and another entire shelf! Their puzzles are also SO cute and they have a ton of local cards, stickers, and art.

Simply the best little bookstore. As a local resident of Poulsbo this is my go to for all of my books. Pre-order, special order, and right off the shelf, they can do it all. It seems like they always have exactly what I am looking for no matter the genre.

Came for Independent Bookstore Day and the shop was busy but the selection was great. The store was really cute too!

A beautiful and well curated book store. Selection is laid out beautifully with some fun sections (WA authors displayed and 20% off). Little staff reviews were thoughtful and fun. Highly recommend a stop here.

A great little bookstore that is locally owned. We stop in every time we're downtown.

Beautiful selection of books but was surprised by lack of customer service. No one greets you, no one speaks to you...they can't be bothered. I asked a question and got a terse " No". Okay then, I'll go find another bookseller who likes a paying customer I guess.

This is one of the best independent bookstores in the region. It features a friendly, well-read, and hot staff and a brilliant selection of books for all ages. Kudos for featuring fun events with local and nationally-known authors.

Cutest little book store in the heart of Poulsbo! They have partnerships with other businesses as well for cross-patronage (buy a book, get a free latte). Lovely selection of local authors

As a local author, published by an indie publisher, my husband and I always visit and support smaller, independent bookstores whenever we can, realizing the immeasurable value of these establishments. While we have been to Liberty Bay Books previously, this visit was especially fun, as it was bustling with other enthusiast shoppers/readers. The shop has a good selection of books (and genres), and we absolutely loved seeing the local authors prominently celebrated at the front of the store. I was also delighted when I asked a younger staff for recommendations, and she was engaging, knowledgeable, and excited to talk books. This is why I am happy to pay full price for a book at a smaller bookstore. It's an actual experience. In fact, now that we live closer to this charming bookstore, we will certainly be having these experiences more often.Pro Tip: Please support your local, independent bookstores (and authors), as our communities are enhanced by these special spaces. And, if you're looking for a book on making and keeping healthy adult friendships, check out my little labor of love: Friending: Creating Meaningful, Lasting Adult Friendships :)

Local Bookstore filled with tons of favorites and well mixes of books I've never even heard of. My favorite was how the employees all had a recommendation and a little snippet of a summary so you get an idea of what the book could be about. Best of all? I was able to get a free cup of delicious coffee from next door! So, go and spend some money $ on books to enjoy and a cup of brew to sip on as a bonus! *Side note to whoever is in charge of music. Well done! The right volume and playlist so you can just enjoy the vibe while you search for your next book to read.

Great little local, independent bookstore. I appreciate that it is not cluttered feeling like some small bookstores are. Came to buy my eight year old a new chapter book. The employee was very knowledgeable and kind in showing her different options. Grab a coffee next door then come peruse through books in here.
