Very clean and organized. Staff is very friendly and knowledgable. Prices are reasonable and the vet clinic they use in store is very good in animal care and appointments are always quick and easy.

I love this store, they always have very healthy fish and kind employees! I’m never displeased going to this store except for today….
I wanted to pick a specific couple of goldfish for our nature pond that looked vibrant and healthy, only to be told that I was not allowed to pick them myself.
In the end, the employee managed to pick a couple decent looking ones, although one has a damaged tail. Which as an experienced fish keeper I will be able to heal.
I believe in quality (healthy) over quantity (what she could catch in the least time) which this employee didn’t seem to understand.

Pink haired employee is *extremely* rude, and has been that way each time I've had the unfortunate luck of encountering her over the last few years I've frequented the store weekly - but all other employees are wonderful, friendly and helpful.

This Petco has the worst groomers! Becca turned my dog’s grooming experience into an ever changing obstacle course. I don’t know what I said or did that caused Becca to engage in petty behavior concerning me, because I’m perfectly polite and my dog is very well behaved and was always one of my prior groomer’s favorite because she was so good.
Becca found one reason or another to cancel my dog’s appointments, even after I had driven a half hour a couple of times for the appointments I had confirmed via texts. In one of the rare appointments Becca kept, she did a horrible job! An 8-year old could have done a better job. I had asked for a teddy bear cut, but when I picked up my dog, it was quite obvious Becca had no idea what a teddy bear cut is or her skills are so lacking that she’s unable to perform the cut. I suggest it must be the latter.
When I started making appointments with different groomers, Becca would call me and tell me that that particular groomer was out sick or no longer there. The groomer she once told me was no longer there was and is still listed as a groomer.
Okay, Becca. I’m done. You won. I’ll take my business elsewhere, which is apparently what you wanted me to do 5-6 appointments ago.

The 5 stars go to Mia in the fish department.
I never bought fish from Poulsbo Petco til Mia took over!
She has cleaned and maintained the tanks at top notch quality, friendly and so knowledgeable.
Definitely an asset to the store.
Another individual is Travis. He’s usually cashiering, but so willing to help on the floor. His demeanor is soft spoken and so kind.
If I could give 10 stars to each of them I would.
Kudos to you both for your smiles and friendly nature.
