They accepted the wrong prescription from a Rite aid transfer, and were difficult to deal with. And the store was dirty and smelled bad.

The staff is friendly but the service is none too fast. The tech said the prescription would be ready in 30 mins. Had to leave. A very simple one. Came back the next day and it still wasn't ready.

They don't have the decency to call you to let you know they don't have your prescription available. I just found out today when I called to check if they had my prescription ready for pick up.

I’ve been using the Poulsbo Safeway Pharmacy for a couple years now . Everyone is so knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to my diabetic disasters . Carolyn is great and there is one pharmacist that always jumps in to help us when needed !

The pharmacist, Lorie, is amazing!! Always professional, extremely helpful and positive even when his staff calls off and leaves him and the other techs on their own! Highly recommend him for vaccines!

They are always extremely kind, professional, helpful, and willing to do what they can to help you get what you need— I drive 45 minutes just to continue going to this pharmacy, I live on the Olympic Peninsula. 10/10 best pharmacy in the area— if you are looking for a place to switch to pick this wonderful team!

For prescriptions this pharmacy is great, they are always helpful and knowledgeable. However, when I got my flu shots this month, the pharmacist had to be reminded to change his gloves before giving me my shot, and he had picked up trash off the floor and held his finger to the previous person's arm where he had given them their shot. So, possible contamination and health risk BIG TIME.

I never usually leave reviews but I’ve been coming to the Safeway pharmacy for years and I’ve never had such awesome service. Bonnie was amazing and was super helpful. She went above and beyond to help me with an issue with my medication. Thank you so much Bonnie !:)

Probably the worst pharmacy around. Keep getting texts about medications being ready to be picked up, but when I get there it's "oh sorry that was for the meds you picked up yesterday." Or "sorry there isn't actually anything for you to pick up."
Then stop sending me text about meds I've already picked up while I'm waiting for the important ones to get filled.

The staff is fantastic and knowledgeable and this review should not be a reflection on the staff. However, as great as the staff is over the last few months I have had increased problems getting my prescriptions filled. My routine meds take 3-4 days to refill which is no big deal as I can plan for that. This is up from 12-24 hours. It is when I get sick or need something filled day of is the real problem. Recently I was diagnosed with RSV and given a prescription for nebulizer meds. It’s been 4 days now and it is still “processing.” You do not plan on when you are going to get sick and waiting 4 days for respiratory meds is a problem.

The team at Safeway Poulsbo Pharmacy is one of the most friendly, responsive, and customer service oriented pharmacies I've ever worked with. They have always gone the extra mile with my family to get difficult prescriptions filled by working with insurance companies and doctors to get them right. I highly recommend this stellar team!

I have been with Safeway pharmacy since they opened. I’ve run into a problem. A doctor prescribed a med & insurance authorized it. The last time I tried to fill it, they gave me a different story as to why they couldn’t fill it. When I went into the pharmacy to talk to someone, they changed their story, saying it needed pre authorization.
I could tell she wasn’t being forthright. I knew at this point they hadn’t tried to run it after they said they had. My insurance shows claims in progress, rejections & pre authorizations. They didn’t submit it at all. I do not appreciate being lied to. The doctor who prescribed it (who is licensed in the state of WA) told me they were refusing to fill it. If it is prescribed & authorized, they should not refuse to fill it. That’s not their job.
It’s appalling to have a pharmacy decide on their own that they’re not going to fill a prescription for a patient. I hate to think of what else they’ve taken upon themselves to do or not do. No pharmacy should interfere with a patients care. Obviously I am no longer with Safeway pharmacy. I will never trust a pharmacy again.

Outstanding !!!! The pharmacy technicians and Tore the pharmacist will make you feel like your are at a home town pharmacy with people who know you and care. They go above and beyond every time I'm there (weekly). Bonnie has the best customer service, she will remember your name, and get you in and out quickly. It's the total opposite experience then CVS Poulsbo.
