If I could give zero stars I would. This place flat out stole my money and did not provide me with my car rental. I have had to cancel plans and spend money that I would not have had to spend had they provided me with the rental car that I paid for in advance. When I contacted Avis customer care, not only did they leave me on hold for over 15 minutes before I was even able to speak to a supervisor, I was transferred to the wrong supervisor and had to be put back on hold while they transferred me to the right one and was then told that Avis was not willing to do anything to make the situation right with me. I would STRONGLY advise anyone against ever doing business with Avis. Policies on debit cards were not disclosed at the time of purchase, and even though I was using the very same card that I used to pay for the price of the rental itself, they were unable and unwilling to use it to cover the REFUNDABLE deposit at the time of attempted pick up. Now I am out almost $400 for two whole months because that is how long Avis will take to return the funds after cancellation to my account. Very poor customer service and very poor business practice to not provide a product that is paid for in advance, and to cause plans that have been in place for months to be cancelled completely because of this situation. Not at all happy. I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

Perhaps I'm overly disenchanted because I used to work for this company and I know what their standards are... needless to say, I was NOT impressed. The car options were VERY limited, My family and I waited 1/2hr for the agent to appear and there was no contact information to access the employee on duty (they're supposed to post SOMETHING that indicates when they left/how long they will be gone/a phone number to call/exc...), The agent did not follow procedure: I was the additional driver and they are supposed to impute my info into the computer system... he could have easily pressed 2 keys to accomplish this... instead he chose to hand write my information on an separate paper (these are reserved for when the system is down and all contracts are hand written...NOT for lazy employees) and when I asked what he was doing he acted as if this was the appropriate action. THIS IS HOW FRAUD RINGS & THEFT RINGS GET AWAY WITH IT! BY EMPLOYEES NOT DOING THEIR JOBS. And the company places the blame & shame on the employee if something does happen even if they did everything perfectly (just saying)...and no, that's not why I left the company. This employee was a shining example of what NOT TO DO and I expected more professionalism from an airport location.

I guess opening up at 10:00am passes for good enough in the business world, but then someone should have the business open at 10:00 ready to serve. Very unprofessional business.
