I've been drafting this for a bit while as a business I would rate Palouse Treasures as a 4/5 prices are a bit high especially when it comes to furniture and I believe that pricing "ugly" furniture as less is a terrible business practice that's not my place to judge. this review is more focused on what it is like to work there, the manager anne likes to believe/treat you like we're all friends. including looking over what she was going to buy at the end of night and pricing it out fairly for her. which she's the manager I am just a low level employee I should not be pricing her stuff if we can't price anything else. and good luck if you get the weekend shift there's no managers on weekends so if furniture comes in and somebody wants to buy it you get to be the bad guy and say well I can't price things and normally you'll get attitude from the customers. last but not least my final problem working here is when I put in my two weeks notice everybody was informed including a co-worker of mine who took it upon herself to preach to me about forgiving said manager because of good Christian values. while I do respect this coworker it was not her place to say anything nor should she have been told.

First off not really accessible for people in wheelchairs and walker. And the employees at the time was surprisingly rude.

I was rudely told I couldn't go upstairs 10 minutes before closing despite the store and front register being open. In addition, I've received rude and standoffish reception from workers when trying to donate to the store. I'm posting a negative review honestly because I like the store for the most part, but the service is ruining it for me and I'd love to see it improve.

I understand that this is a thrift shop and can seem like it is in some disarray at times. But while simply asking for a price on a item that was clearly on the sales floor, my family and I getting rude service, instead of friendly help, and a very rude, bordering angry, reminder that they are closing soon. This Certainly is not the service I would expect, especially for a business that rely on donations and community support to even remain in business. While waiting to pay for my last ever purchase from this establishment my 5 year old asked her mother if she could look at the toys, my wife said no, but still the lady behind the counter took it apon herself to harshly snap and tell my 5 year they are will be closing in five minutes. No donations, no further business, and will never send either in their direction again. When it's so simple to say anything with a light tone and a smile on your face it's sad to see the culture of that store be so negative. And that normally starts at the top.

I have to rave about the young very special and hard working team that carries the heart of this store. Adam, my family just adores him! He's so amazing, helpful, friendly, we end up spending hundreds of dollars on each visit and spending hours in the store, Adam makes the experience more than just a treasure hunt, his OUTSTANDING customer service, attention to detail and ability to love on the kids is more than I could ever ask for! Jackson, (Action Jackson!) Works so hard, literally carries this store on his back. Jackson, you know we love you my family. Every time we see you you're working harder than the time before. You inspire me! Ann-Go girl! We love you. You are a young, hardworking leader that is there all the time. You put in new ideas, take into consideration customers who have been shopping in the store for decades (like my family) while taking into consideration the changing times and shopping trends. Thank you for all that you do! I'm so proud of you all. Keep working hard and showing these folks how it's done! ;)

This place has really taken a bad turn. So overly priced. Will not take donations there anymore. Manager is rude to employees in front of customers. Shameful place now.

New management has transitioned a once vibrant thrifting experience into an unaffordable boutique concept. Same used/donated items as before yet you now pay 2x to 3x more for them. "Vintage pricing", indeed. Staff is generally helpful. Hope they are able to right the ship before it's too late ...

New owner is driving this into the ground with ridiculous markup. Hopefully someplace new will rise up and the restore the Pullman thrifting experience.

This used to be my favorite thrift store. Unfortunately, under its new management, it is not what it used to be. This thrift store really services a lot if college students and in the past, you could really get a deal. Which is great whenyou are a poor college student. They have increased their prices ten fold. And not consistently. More than Goodwill, now. It’s almost at ridiculous prices. The organizational scheme in the store is now quite haphazard. It definitely doesn’t have the same feel to it. It’s really disappointing for many, many customers.

This place has taken a turn. Good deals are HARD to find where they used to be so plentiful. New management has raised prices so much that I won't even take my donations here anymore, let alone shop here. The pricing is also wildly inconsistent. For example, Ive seen torn or broken and heavily used, dated items priced higher than new higher quality items, or very similar items at very different prices. A lot of the workers who are still there from before the change in management are as friendly and helpful as ever. I asked the manager about lowering the price of a very battered desk with 2 wobbly legs because it was the most affordable, yet still, out of my budget. I only asked if she could take a couple dollars off the price tag and she said no, the price was fair and she wouldn't lower it, and that if I was in need of "aid" she could direct me to local programs for assistance. A HUGE over step. I will be shopping elsewhere and taking my donations elsewhere as well. Very sad, considering this was such a well loved place.

I used to come here all the time and recommend it to all my friends. It was the best priced thrift shop on the Palouse. About 4 months ago they started raising their prices to where it was literally cheaper to buy lots of their items brand new than to get the used and generally dirty or broken version there. Its not worth it to go any more.
