I am writing to express my deep concern and disappointment regarding the mistreatment, racism, and harassment I experienced at the Walmart Pharmacy. The level of service provided by the pharmacists was extremely poor. The first African American pharmacist repeatedly asked for my date of birth, consistently misinterpreting my birth year from 1990 to 1993. Consequently, he was unable to locate my prescription. To make matters worse, he wrongfully accused me of misspelling the month, which was not the case. When the manager, whose first name starts with 'D,' took over, he also asked for my date of birth, claimed he couldn't find it, and insisted on checking my ID. He then accused me of misspelling my birth year as 1994 instead of 1990. Prior to my visit, I called the pharmacy to inquire about the readiness of my prescription. A lady, after asking for my birthday just once, promptly located my information and confirmed that it was ready for pickup. I felt mistreated and racially discriminated against by these two individuals solely because of my Asian background. It appears they deliberately played a prank on me due to my non-white ethnicity. As a graduate student who has lived in this country for seven years, I am confident in my English proficiency, which has been approved and complimented by my committee members. Pronunciation is not the issue here, as my American husband's assistance has helped minimize any potential accent concerns. I have picked up prescriptions at this location three times before without any issues with other pharmacists. This incident, however, was a clear demonstration of racist and sexist behavior. It is disheartening that bias and discrimination still exist against individuals who are not originally from this country. I hope this issue is addressed promptly to ensure that all customers are treated fairly and respectfully, regardless of their background.

My group of friends and I have been going to this Walmart for a while now and we noticed we've been followed by a multitude of employees here! My friend said a camouflage hoodie employee was following her, while I was followed by a guy with a beard and. black hoodie. Idk if these are workers or random strangers but they were talking with the employees in vests on our way out so Im assuming they were. They would stand at the end of the aisles we were in and pretend to look at something then walk off! Don't feel safe sometimes

Well, here we go again. I had thought Walmart pharmacy had finally gotten it together and actually had a decent pharmacist. WRONG!! Once again Walmart gets to play doctor and God. What in the world is going on at this place??? Following a painful surgery earlier this year I was denied a narcotic prescription because the pharmacist thought she knew more than myself or THE PRESCRIBING PHYSICIAN about my own body. I had it moved to a different pharmacy and got it filled no problems. Now they can't get my normal monthly rx filled, may not happen today as per the pharmacist(this is the 4th time in 6 months)for a medication I NEED to take around the same time, EVERY DAY! I have now had to request my physician to send a new rx to a different pharmacy(another up to 24hr wait)that doesn't have a God complex. Apparently it's funny to the techs "in training" when a patient can't get their medication and the pharmacist offered zero resolution nor could he explain the sudden "issue" and in fact hung up on me. This place is off the rails. I have contacted legal counsel and I would love to hear from others about their negative experiences here as there's potential for a class action lawsuit. It's well known that Walmart only gets the bottom of the barrel of pharmacists(this coming from 4 separate medical doctors)letting people go without necessary medication is beyond wrong, it's illegal and very dangerous. I know that Wal-Mart won't do anything, I've brought up multiple, legitimate, issues with this pharmacy throughout the years and rarely is there a resolution. I can't imagine how these people sleep at night. I'm sitting here wondering if it's some kind of sick game the pharmacists play, like who can deny the most prescriptions this week or maybe it's like bingo where they daub out things like "I denied 5 rx today", "I made 1 person die this week", "I played judge, jury and God today","I laughed at 5 patients", "I hung up on 10 people". SOMETHING IS VERY WRONG AT THIS PHARMACY AND WALMART NEEDS TO FIX IT!! I know, I shouldn't keep giving them a chance. Unfortunately, They're the only place open on Sundays and sometimes my medication needs filled on the weekend. I am hoping that I never have to return and that more people come forward. PLEASE, if Walmart has denied you a legitimate prescription, let's all band together and stop this madness! You may not get a big paycheck but think of all the people we can save from the same hell. Sick and twisted....

Pharmacist is late on a Saturday while tons of patients are waiting for prescriptions to be filled. Extremely unprofessional.

Absolutely terrible. Waited over an hour and was told that people that came after me were a priority for vaccines, even though I’d been told my prescription would only take 15 minutes. Was told this was because I’d walked away from the pharmacy during my wait (I was told they’d text me when it was ready) and the other people had been waiting in front of the pharmacist for 10 minutes. Very frustrated, do not use this pharmacy. I will be going elsewhere in the future.

So slow. C'mon you guys get another pharmacist to help with vaccines and flu shots. I've been waiting for over an hour! And the 5 techs are standing around with nothing to do.

Literal human feces on the bathroom floor. Only 2 registers open with lines that are 20 people long. Self checkout lines were the same. Parking lot is a disaster with college kids driving too fast or running through the parking lot. Never a good experience coming here. Absolutely absurd.

Nice small store for a Walmart. All the associates are extremely friendly and helpful.

Remarkable pharmacy! My son tried to pick up a prescription for penicillin. They spelled his name wrong; they got his birth date wrong; they got the prescribing physician's name completely wrong, not merely mis-spelled; when he got to the counter they said there was no prescription for him. After another phone call to the doctor, he had to stand in line again, and finally got the prescription. Of course after they didn't get a single thing straight to this point, we (and the physician) didn't trust that they got the correct pills into the bottle. So we needed Dr. Google to verify the actual pill identity. Since I can't give this pharmacy 0 stars, I'll give it 1 star for a low price.

Don't waste your time on grocery pickup. I usually wait for 20-30 minutes after checking in for stuff that would take me 10 minutes to grab myself

Pharmacy Techs are always helpful and knowledgeable. The only issue I've had in the past was having to go back and forth between them and my PCP to get a prescription filled. Only happened once though. And you can't take old prescriptions back to be disposed of.

They were okay for a while, but then I needed a medicine that was vital to have by a certain day. I gave them 4 days and they not only failed to get my medicine, they failed to notify me of that! I had to call them and stay on them to even know. My medicine is an opioid and is needed for pain, but it also causes withdrawals, which is why I requested it on a Friday for my need on Tuesday. So not only did they fail, but when I asked the pharmacist "what can I expect from the withdrawals that I'll experience due to you guys not getting it together? " instead of answering me, she denies me service and tells me to go elsewhere! How dare I ask the pharmacist a medical question regarding a situation *they caused*? If a manager sees this, the pharmacist working 11/09/21 at about 2:30pm needs to maybe not talk to people ever. If she can't handle telling me symptoms of the withdrawals that are walmarts fault, she needs training. I already hit problems at every step I take with any medical issues, a walmart pharmacist doesn't need to be another one. She can take the time to transfer my prescriptions since she wants to refuse service for me asking her a medical question related to the medicine walmart didn't notify me about being late. If you need competent, I'm not so sure this is the pharmacy for you. Will update if the situation changes.Update: The DM called me back and I explained to him what happened. He took ownership of the problem and promised to fix it. As a chronic pain patient, this little step goes a long way. He provided that he would talk to the pharmacist and manager. I'll update once again when I get my next refill.
