Clean gym but pretty scummy tactics to keep you on the roster for recurring payments, and no contract should ever auto-renew. A 2 year agreement is just that, an agreement for 2 years. When I signed up, not checking the auto renewal box meant you were not able to complete registration, you are expected to go back within 3 days and revoke that option... Should not need to take the day off work, drive 2 counties over and submit multiple documents in writing, in person, to cancel an overpriced gym membership 30+ days in advance. Anytime Fitness is the only gym currently that still operates on the 1990s Bally's total fitness model, fine print you to death. You almost need a binding UN resolution to handle this in a simple manner, be prepared to block their access to your bank, and to call the ABC parent company to put the heat on them. This club will never get another penny of my money. Also not a fan of allowing people to set up their own little movie studio to record themselves for attention when frankly nobody in there wants to be recorded, indirectly or directly. I hope that that changes and recording on premises becomes against the rules.

Wow this place is horrible. I am an anytime fitness member, have been for over 10 years but the staff at this place are horrible. Well to be fair who ever the old lady is that instructs the yoga class. The class was posted to start at 6pm and she kicked everyone out of the workout room at 5:20. You don't automatically get the entire room for 2 people and there was more than enough room to have the class. Again THERE WAS ONLY 2 PEOPLE IN THE CLASS. Every single other location regardless of classes or not you share the room, its common courtesy. I even politely asked if I could just use the corner of the room for 5 minutes to stretch (I have an autoimmune disorder and stretching daily helps me combat this) but she said and I quote "I don't care I'm deciding to start early and I need this entire room. It's a group activity so no one else can use this room. We will be using it however long I want". WOW. “Jennifer” decided who 2 person class was so important that she would start her class OVER half an hour early and kick everyone else out. NEVER coming back to this location again and reccomended no one else does either.FYI: the other class at 5pm was in a different area of the gym, so the studio room was NOT in use

I love this little gym. Even during times of hiatus, I love coming back and feeling comfortable no matter what fitness stage I’m in. Thank you for cultivating that kind of environment for us!

Cool gym, I attended it everyday. The thing is, It should be easier to cancel your membership.All the documents that you sign to enter the contract are electronic. You'd think they'd be able to forward those cancellation documents via email or provide for in app cancellation, but no. Requiring someone to send a cancellation letter via snail mail to some offsite location is archaic and makes things weird for no apparent reason.I originally intended to rejoin this gym when I was back in the state/area. The nearest Anytime Fitness* is 30 min away (highway) from my 2nd home; I tried to make it work, but It's just too far away to be practical for how often I enjoy working out. Im disappointed because I literally paid extra for the month to month contract for 1.5 years for situations like this. After this nonsense, I don't want to come back.

My family just moved into the area and we were searching for a gym. We were considering a membership at this Anytime Fitness. After seeing how the owner has responded to negative reviews and criticism my family is going to take our business elsewhere. With so many gyms in the area I’d rather go to one that the owner doesn’t alienate customers that have issues with their business.

Gym response is inaccurate —- I’ve been a member at the gym for several months (not less than 30 days) and the fob stopped working due to an error on their end, not mine. When I called for help it took hours to reach them and multiple days to hear back. They could just apologize for the error but instead they make excuses and place blame on customers. The problem appears to be that they have absentee owners who don’t take an active role in managing the club.Chose a different gym. My key fob stopped working due to an issue on their end. It took two days to get it fixed so I missed multiple workouts. A few weeks later and I’m traveling so I visit an Anytime in Chicago but my fob isn’t working again. It takes hours to get an answer on the phone back in Puyallup. When someone answered, I explained the problem and they said the owner needed to fix the problem. I was told they would fix it then get back to me but I never heard back. They have zero problem taking my money every month but I’m not sure what for. Happy to update the review once I can exercise again.

To: Mr.EvensI’m dissatisfied with this anytime fitness. Mr.evens I have a question for you how you can run a gym when half of your equipment is outdated and broken. No offense against you sir it’s just business but the fact that you’re trying to sell the illusion of making people healthier and happier when you yourself mr.evens is the very opposite so healthy, it’s kinda like an oxymoron in a sense. This is a very clean and organized facility, I loved it a lot but moved...Had some issues after I moved but were resolved by Mr Ken .Thanks alot ,prosper and open up more locations God willing. Great services ?

At 66 and 70, my husband and I have limitations; especially my husband, who has multiple muscular-skeletal issues. We were so encouraged and supported in our decision to join this gym; and because, the sign up workout was so welcoming and encouraging, it seemed flawless. Silver sneakers and my health insurance benefits gave us the ability to get going for 25$ a month and we are gonna do this thing!

I'm new to Anytime Fitness but I've got to say that Austin has made me feel welcomed & comfortable to be working out. I have arthritis & he's working on a program just for me. He understands my limitations & is working with me to achieve my goals...I would love to lose 50 lbs but just being more mobile will make me happy.

I canceled mine and my husbands account a few weeks ago. We were at the end of our contract so there was no penalty. They still charged his account, I've called everyday and can't get anyone in the phone. I've emailed the owners and have gotten no response. But they sure did cancel the keys to get in...I made sure to test them during the day in the middle of the week when I drove to the Puyallip Anytime Fitness to see why they still charged his account and NO ONE WAS THERE. Thieves and crooks. Still haven't gotten a response or our money back

Just joined this location!! Owners & staff have been very welcoming. Love the updated equipment and the fact that you can log your cardio on the Life Fitness App. This is the only location out of 3 others I've been to in WA that have group classes. Loving it so far! And was able to join on a pretty good contract price wise.
