They hire borderline special ed people for their customer service department.. ypu call 10 times and maybe you get 1 person who is not retarded... this place is going down in a hurry.. juno ship while you can!!

Busy location with long wait times. Even with an appointment. No bathroom to use when having to accept the unusually long wait times. I opened a business account and applied for a credit card. After 2 weeks with no response I followed up. Their response to me was a clerical error, and I would have to wait an additional 2 weeks because of this. No offer to expedite shipping. Very disappointed. First time having buyers remorse for opening a business account.

My husband and I have had our personal accounts and Business accounts set up with BECU for years. We were selling a motorcycle and received a cashiers check and went above and beyond to ensure we covered all basis regarding this check due to the amount, we went into the branch at 176th & Meridian Puyallup and SW Representative Taylor/Tyler to verify the cashiers check, he said it looked good, we event called the bank on the check and verified which we were told it was payable. Representative at BECU reassured us we are doing everything right and we would be safe and our accounts would not be affected. We chose to put the check on a 10 day hold to verify funds and not just deposit and spend. We were then informed they would put it into the fraud department which would be extra security. 10- day hold went by the funds were deposited into our account and then we waited an additional 3 full business days, i then chose to transfer the money into another savings account we have that accumulates a much higher interest rate. I was out of state and tried to use my card and my card said Not Authorized thought it was a fluke, tried again, same error message. My husband then called me to inform me that BECU put all of our accounts on HOLD, no access, no way to pay bills, withdraw money nothing. They pulled the funds back out of our account which the money was no longer there because I transferred it. They treated us like we were the criminals, like we did something wrong. The only thing we did wrong was trust BECU.

If i could give this credit union a ZERO rating I would.On 1/27/2023 around 3-4PM PST I visited the Tukwilla location just for a benign (no ID required) task. The teller, front, 3rd or 4th from the right, long black hair in a pony tail and oversized false eyelashes was one of the rudest tellers. This is not a one-off situation. This teller was flip, and had zero customer service skill-set what so ever and made the transaction so painful!!! (again, not a formal monetary transaction) . I must have waited 20-23 minutes in line just for a very benign transaction which no one else was able to help with. This teller could care less about being helpful or doing their job well - they were absolutely horrible. My last visit to this same location I waited about 30 minutes just to turn a $10 dollar bill into some quarters. one of the worst financial institutions yet. Id rather go back to commercial backing - at least there i expect bad behavior. Dont bother coming here...go anywhere else.!

Recently moved to the area and had need to go to BECU Neighborhood location here off Meridian. It was super busy and the wait time was about 45 minutes. I love BECU and have been a member for decades, along with most of the family. With all the new housing construction in the area, hopefully BECU is considering adding a full Financial location in the not too distant future. The local Financial locations cannot provide full transaction/financial services.

Why in God's name would this location chose to have thier greeter be a grumpy unhelpful person who likes to talk over and cut off customers. I work in cs and this is not good cs!

They do not know how to print checks. I have gone into this location repeatedly because it is the closest BECU to my house. I have had incorrectly printed checks handed to me 3 times now. They are either, previous checks that have been printed already, printed backwards on the sheet, or printed the wrong side of the sheet. Those are the three ways I have gotten checks from them, each time incorrect. The line is always incredibly long, they skip people in their wait list and then hand you incorrectly printed checks. They have wasted my time 3 times now and I have had to come in to get correctly printed checks time and time again

They have changed my life !Now my money is not siphoned off a nickel and dime at a time as banks are want to do.It opens up many new possibilities and increases what you can afford by virtue of NOT bleeding you dry as with other institutions.

I am so happy I decided to become a member a few years back. Everything is done through the ATM system, & that is most easy to do.On-line banking actually works here. In fact, I started & set up the account on-line!Convenient locations, friendly knowledgeable staff, & people running things. The as you come in kiosk needs to be a trite slower to change screens though.

After being a customer for 10 plus years, l went through issues with a gym membership repeatedly charging me after I told them to cancel it. After asking about my options, I was told that I needed to pay the insane amount of fees I was charged by BECU.I will be taking my business else where. Don't waste your time here. This is exactly why this company had to pay out from being sued over this same type of thing a few years ago. Terrible..

Long wait times every time I try and go in. I had my 3 year old daughter with me while I was waiting to get a new atm card and I asked to use the restroom for my daughter and they wouldn't let her so no public restrooms. Every time I try and withdraw for more then $1,000.00 I have to call in to raise limit.

You have to do everything through an ATM. High likelihood I'll be moving my banking somewhere else.
