I wrote a long review, expressing my dissatisfaction with this location; but I am temporarily erasing it for now. I have decided until I can speak to the individuals directly that failed to do their job correctly at this site, and I can confirm what I believe to be accurate, I am going to reserve my review/opinion until then. What I can say is Olyvia Williamson Traffic center 702 is amazing. She is the best thing Uhaul has going when it comes to ensuring customers are valued and well taken care of. I will do a follow up post tomorrow once I learn a little more. Also note the one star has nothing to do with the company overall because obviously they have great employees like Olyvia; but I can't do more than one star at this time.

If you say you open at 7, open at 7! Website says 7, google says 7, paperwork says 7. Customer service was useless. Before even trying to return my truck, what I reserved wasn’t available so was forced to get something different. All of this is very inconvenient.

Would be nice if the piece of shit people managing this location would pick up the abandoned box truck. After 8 phone calls and a visit to the store, the bitch at the counter asked if I would like to speak to her boss about it, no bitch, that's your job.

I reserved a box truck to move some furniture. When I arrived at the rental facility nobody was in the office, had to wait. When the attendant arrived and I filled out the paperwork, I declined the insurance coverage \\u0026 was told I had to fill out paperwork with my personal insurance coverage information. I declined to take the time to call my insurance company for this info on a Sat morning and was told I could sign the form to decline it. The truck was brought around \\u0026 when I got in I noted a \\\"check engine\\\" light on. Went back in and was told \\\"oh, it's ok, we've been having trouble with that, it's been like that for a couple months\\\". I declined to take the truck and paperwork was redone for another truck/van which I signed, then left. The truck was returned as promised and now I receive a charge on my Visa bill for the rental INCLUDING the damage waiver coverage which I had declined! I called Budget Customer Service and they said \\\"there was nothing they could do\\\" since the rental was completed. On another note--the truck/van I did rent was FILTHY and I had to take it home and use Lysol wipes on the steering wheel and driver's seat before I felt comfortable touching them! They had the nerve to tell me not to leave any garbage in the vehicle! I will NEVER rent from this facility again.

I reserved a box truck to move some furniture. When I arrived and paperwork was filled out, I declined insurance coverage and was given a form to fill out with my personal insurance coverage limits. When I told them I didn't have this info, he said I could call my ins. company. I declined to do this on a Saturday morning. He said you can sign here, which I did. The truck I was given had a "Check Engine" light on and I refused to take it--even though I was assured: "oh, it's ok, we've been having trouble with that, it's been like that for a couple months"! He took my original paperwork and redid it for a different vehicle, I signed and drove away. Now I have been billed for the vehicle charge PLUS the insurance coverage I had declined! Budget Customer Service told me "there is nothing they can do" since the rental was completed.Another somewhat related thing: the truck was FILTHY and I had to take it home and use Lysol wipes on the steering wheel and driver's seat before I felt comfortable touching them. Ugh!I wish I had read these reviews before renting from them! I highly recommend that you DO NOT rent from this company. I certainly never will again. They are unethical, have poor customer service, & obviously do not take good care of their vehicles.

CHECK YOUR STATEMENTS!!! Be very careful when returning or renting from this facility!I made sure to take picture of fuel gauge and ask for receipt, even though associate said I was okay to go. Not 1st time I've been overcharged by Budget when returning a vehicle, always keep receipts and check statements. They charged me for fuel and a surcharge after I left the facility, even though they verified tank was full. When I returned, he tried telling me Budget automatically charges fuel/surcharge (option 3), when you drive less than 75 miles. I told him I'd be contacting BBB and corporate, by time I called, they had reversed the charges.

I rented a car in Hawaii from Budget. Had to return the first car the next day because it wouldn't run and we could not roll up the back windows. But the worst part was we had a flat tire and there was no no lug wrench in the car so I had to call my personal AAA. The driver that changed V the tire said all the tires were unsafe. Now they are charging me $220 for the damaged tire. Please don't make the mistake of dealing with this company. I V know I never will.

Rented a moving truck from here and the woman tells me straight up that she didn't my truck first thing. Ask me when I made my reservation, which was a week ago. So, of course my blood started to boil. She offered no answer. I showed her my reservation on my phone to which she replied, " That doesn't tell me anything!" After being on the phone and finally getting into the computer, tells me that she does in fact have my truck, but because I mistakenly got there 1 hour early we'll have to wait an hour because she had"other cars to rent." We were the only ones in there!!!Worst customer service I have ever received!!! We only went with this place because when we moved back to Washington from Arizona this is where we dropped the truck we rented and the gentleman that was working here then was so nice and so helpful. Where is he now?? Last time I will ever, ever use this place!!! And we will be needing a truck in the not too distant future...Do yourself a favor and don't even bother with this s#it show!!! Sitting in front of it now... waiting for an hour so her majesty can finally help us!!! Would have been negative 5 stars if it were possible!!!

I have never experienced such an absolute scam and unrepentant terrible "business" as Puyallup Budget Truck Rental. Look through my reviews, I only like to praise good businesses online because I know how hard it is to run a business. I sincerely appreciate and want to promote good businesses. This "business" Puyallup Budget Truck is the worst I've ever experienced. This "business" Puyallup Budget Truck is a pure scam in every sense. I feel I need to warn you and anyone who might possibly encounter this horrible "business" because they will ambush you if you are unaware of what complete trash this "business" is. We made reservations for a truck online. We usually highly research and vet the companies we do business with but since we've used Budget with great success in the past, we didn't do our research. And we were rewarded with a nightmare of an afternoon, runarounds for multiple days and no truck on the day we had scheduled. We didn't get the truck we reserved because "Having a reservation is no guarantee of receiving a truck." ...Well, how does your business work then? Do your customers have to fight to the death to receive what their contract calls for? Do we set up flags to mark territory on what we want? How could your business possibly operate if your reservations are just wishes and hopes instead of contractual obligations?So after waiting around in their lobby for a hour with the old guy who owns the place lobbing insults at us while telling us he's waiting for his computer "to boot up" and demeaning every other customer unfortunate to walk in. We left without letting these scumbags waste any more of our time. I realize he's old, but I think he could figure out how to press a power button on his computer within a hour. I have never experienced such a runaround and such a complete scumbag in my life as the old guy working there today. This guy was a real treasure. I didn't even realize I was being insulted because I'm not trash, so I didn't even understand what he was asking and thought he was trying to give a discount when accusing us of trying to get our money back after renting one of the trucks. You'd have to actually get off your seat, figure out how to boot up your computer and hand us keys before we ever got there. So how could I possibly scam you while you're actively in the process of scamming me? Who even thinks they're going to get such a crazy runaround or that they don't have what's contracted in the reservation? Never experienced an ambush like this before. Can't believe it's even legal but I guess there's really no one out there to protect consumers from absolute fraudulent businesses like this. After this experience, I can only interpret this business as trash exploiting and ripping off trash. They change their business details online too, like true scumbags. So it's difficult to nail down just the extend of the fraud of this business. They change their addresses and names of this business on various business sites. For instance, I just fixed the address here on Yelp to their real one. But go search around a bit and see how much they've screwed other people around and how common their scams are. Do not give these idiots your money or any information. This "business" is a pure scam. After reading all the reviews, we feel extremely fortunate we managed to escape without getting saddled with one of their broken down jalopies or "mysterious" charges magically appearing on our credit card account as seems common with this establishment from other reviews.

This is the trashiest rental location ever. The old lady working (Lindsay)is beyond unprofessional and rude. There's a huge sign on the door that says masks are required. Not a single person is wearing one. Then when I questioned her about it she said they were required. I told her I have pictures of her not wearing one as well as everyone else in the place. She then told me to get out of the shop. This is after she did not have the reservation and offered no assistance. She stated the website is always wrong and they always have issues. This is the face of Budget/Avis?? Wow! They really should hire people that enjoy their jobs instead of people that are being paid while they trash the company. I have rented many cars and have never had an issue. There's a reason this place has one star. Rent at your own risk!! After contacting customer service, they're refunding the amount charged and are paying for the rental through a different company. This particular woman has many bad reviews. I'll be following up with corporate as well.

Made a reservation for Thursday 8-26 to Monday 8-31 and there is no reservation under mine or my wife’s name!!!!!!! There are no available trucks and I move out today. Worst company ever.

Quoted price was not honored and cost way more than it should have. Manager was extremely rude right from the start. Also, vehicle had food in it/was dirty. Do not rent from these people, you'll be sorry.

We reserved a car trailer to move from Washington to Georgia plenty of time before we start the DRIVE THERE. Uhaul waits weeks to call LAST MINUTE TWO DAYS BEFORE WE START THE DRIVE to tell us they have no more left for us to rent and wed have to drive hours to even find one. Unprofessional and bad taste in our mouths. Sure as heck left us in a stressful situation now.
