If you returned anything from online here, be sure to have them send the confirmation to your email. Then double-check that it was credited to your account. I returned two pair shoes, then I purchased online. The employee said they were credited back to my account, but only one was refunded. Due to it was a buy one get one free. I mentioned to her that I didn't recall getting a buy one get one free, and she assured me I did. She told me I would not be getting a paper receipt, but a confirmation of the refund. I walked out of the store, and decided to go back in, and inquire more. The original associate was busy, so someone helps me other than her. When the next employee look up the transaction, she couldn't find it being returned. Fortunately the shoes were still there, and she offended me for both pair of shoes. Come to find out later, the confirmation I got originally, was for canceling a pair of shoes that I hadn't received yet. I did not cancel any shoes. So instead of refunding me the original associate, canceled a shoe order that I hadn't received it. And the second associate that helped me confronted the other clerk, she had a very flippant attitude and said she had refunded it, when she didn't.

Giving this place a 1 star only because the manager or whoever was the lead was the most unhelpful person ever. They made things super awkward in front of customers by not helping their employee/understanding a super simple question, almost like they were hindering their employees ability to help us out. Anyway, Asha the super sweet cashier with amazing customer service and problem solving skills figured out what had to be done with no help and made things super easy for us. In every interaction I saw her have with customers she was very sweet and helpful, which I was surprised to see! She was very approachable, helpful, and professional. I hope you see this Asha and know you didn’t go unnoticed or unappreciated. You made the situation very pleasant and easy while whoever your manager was made things very unpleasant and awkward.Also Asha seemed to be one of the only people working while we waited 2 hours for our order to be filled that we put in online and we watched employees on the floor do pretty much nothing or were seeing several employees all doing one task that looked like could have been handled by one employees like putting shoes back in boxes, that was pretty frustrating to see and I’m glad I just ended up going to the front and talking to Asha. Again, thanks girl you probably deserve a better work environment where your skills are more appreciated.

The people at this store are super helpful and patient!To DSW, please update your Sunday store hours on Google Maps (South Hill Mall location). It still says open at 10am.

Dsw is the worst place to buy shoes. Dont waste your money. They are cheap and will fall apart quick and then you can't return the shoes because they are worn. They will rob you.

Called to check and see if they had a shoe in stock and the employee on the phone proceeded to tell me to check their website instead of calling. However, we all know that sometimes websites can be inaccurate and outdated. Not to mention, that it would be inconvenient for me to drive all the way there to only find out that a shoe i was looking for is out of stock. What is the point of having an option in the phone queue to speak to an employee only to feel like they did not want to help me.

Decent selection of shoes for the ladies and children. Gentleman's selection was smaller and less varied. Staff were friendly, polite, and dedicated to their job with an excellent eye for detail.
