The dressing rooms at this macys are some of the dirtiest dressing rooms I've ever been in. Around the door handle on the frame are layers of dirt and gunk from people's hands like it's never been wiped, walls and floors are filthy. Looked like boogers on the walls in the stall I was in. Literally so disgusting. Please have them cleaned regularly. I wish I would have taken more pictures I just wanted to hurry and get out.

If you're calling their jewelry department, don't bother. You go through their phone tree, dial the "watch and jewelry department" and wait. Every couple minutes, you have to press 1 to continue holding. After long enough, the phone system says, "You've exceeded your time limit. Goodbye." I was foolish to try this twice, then try to reach a central number (which doesn't exist). I guess the days where human interaction should be expected by phone are long gone. I'm not driving 45 minutes to go and ask someone in person, likely having to shop another store. I'll go ahead shop elsewhere. Macy's jewelry department isn't interested in you unless you're there in person.

I ran into this at the Macy's in the Southcenter Mall. But this applies to all of them. Ever since I was a kid we always enjoyed some frangos around Christmas time. Went to buy some today and they are charging $23.95 for an 8 oz box! That is beyond ridiculous! I guess frangos will no longer be a Christmas tradition. Thanks Macy's for being greedy. You're not getting in my wallet that deep for some stupid chocolates.

I just had the worst interaction with Alexis in juniors. She was very rude while ringing me up. Not sure if she was having a bad day or didn't want to be there. But don't take it out on customers. I will never shop at Macys again. JCPenny is where it's at. They have better sales anyway.

Women at the fitting room literally blocked me from seeing how my mum looked in different dresses and ruined our shopping trip. I normally don't mention this sort of thing, and I hate giving bad reviews, but I've never had this happen to me in my life. I've been shopping all over (in different countries as well), but this was hands-down the weirdest, rudest encounter I've ever had.

Worst customer service every time I come to this location. It's always the black women with colorism issues! I literally just left returning a bracelet due to the clarity of the diamonds and the sales clerk lacked professionalism and customer service! I never have any issues from anyone else just the black women there. Everyone else greets and don't appear to have an attitude. I'm a black woman with a white husband and biracial daughter and this shouldn't even be tolerated. We always hear about White against black but no one speaks up about black women with attitudes against other black women! Dr. Young

I went to Macy's not too long ago to purchase many gifts. I was very overwhelmed the day that I went and I could not decide what to purchase. Luckily one of the fabulous employee who works at Macy's was able to assist me. I believe her name was Madilyn. Madilyn was PHENOMENAL!!!!! Her work ethic is off the charts, she was very understanding and did her job exquisitely. She was very patient with me and my needs and never seemed irritated or annoyed. This is what 5 star customer service looks like! I will come to the south hill Macy's if it means I can get help from Madilyn again.

Your store pissed me off. You never answer the phone. If you are having problems doing that then you need to have a message added to your opening message. D*** a** store. The only thing good about Macy's are the last chance sales prices. Open some damn dressing rooms too!!!!

It has been quite sometime since we have visited Macy's. Covid-19 has brought a great change in our shopping experiences. Here they wore masks and offered stations to sanitize hands. Restrooms were available for customers. My family went to Macy's with high expectations since many changes impacted retailers worldwide. However no one seem to interact with our family as customers in their store. My husband sought help from the counter clerk but she continued to wipe her counter and ignore him. Even with my limited hearing in one ear I heard my husband. I admit I have to ask him to repeat at times but I heard him ask for help! So I know ignoring someone when I see it. However, as in auditioning for roles I said to myself , "Next". While this is a great company , the pandemic has offered us great opportunities to shop or we can shop elsewhere. This location offers curbside and in-store shopping. There is no cost . However most will ship to home with shipping costs. We have had unfriendly customer service at this Macy before but then we thought it was improving. Now it is terrible! But now since the pandemic, customers should be treated quite well. Things are quite expensive here. Customers have so many options so Macy's may need to stop ignoring their in-store customers. Many customers are still reluctant to shop in stores right now. The counter clerks practically looked like mannequins literally except the one wiping off counter. I saw beautiful clothing and shoes . I needed fragrance but I will wait for someone who wants and acts like they want to serve others. Pandemic or not we are still coming to bring business in. We want you to stay open so you can feed your family. If there is any consolation the woman cleaning your store windows humbly greeted our family. That is sad that those who clean your store and disinfect your floors act better! That is who the stars goes to!!!!I recommend you to treat people who walk in like humanity and serve them. Guess what and you will be so glad you served that human. They will be back again and again. Sorry I won't be back . I will use other options. I wish this location the best.

Excellent customer service in the intimate apparel section. Kathy is amazing. She made me feel so special and went and got the things I wanted for me. She always has a smile and greets everyone warmly. Thank you Kathy for making shopping at Macy's a great experience!

I went in to Macy's today to purchase a few new items in the Women's INC dept. downstairs. No one was around while I was browsing, and I walked in to the dressing room, again with no contact with anyone. I went to purchase 3 items (totaling over $150), and the woman who rang up my items, Julianna, was the least friendly associate I've ever encountered at Macy's. She clearly didn't want to be there, and she clearly didn't want to have to bother with me, even though I tried to engage with her, asking "how's your day going"?. Clearly Macy's is in trouble if Julianna is the best they can find. I'll go elsewhere to find employees who don't make me feel bad for spending my money where they work, when clearly I'm bothering them.

I try every once in a while to shop at Macy's but I find them over priced and the sales tactics about as annoying as a car salesman. I thought I'd go check and see what kind of cologne I could purchase as a Christmas present for somebody, but I felt like a bunch of people were passive aggressively trying to "take my business" from each other to earn their commission. Then the lady wants to introduce me to a particular brand and has to pass me on to the next brand specialist because I didn't like it. All I want is a one stop shop and not deal with a bunch of people trying to to "desperately" sell me something that is already overpriced. Annoying.... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ It got so annoying that I just left. Maybe next year I'll try again and have more patience.
