Predatory lending, false advertising partnered with Credit Karma. Will say you are approved. Then when I spoke with a live person, I was asked how much are you willing to pay. Red flag right there with that comment. So I questioned my approval on line, next comment was oh you are not really approved. We can take your car as collateral then will underwrite to be reviewed. I was like oh hell no. Loan sharks to say the least. It would have been a negative 5 stars but all it has as lowest ratingis a one star.

You fill out the application. Then they tell you that you're approved, but when it comes to the phone interview they tell you no, so they shouldn't tell you that you're approved when you're really not. My problem IS when you fill something out.It shouldn't tell you that you're approved, especially when you put everything forward and then they tell you.You have an inadeductory to meet the loan officer . I have read some of the other reviews and I agree with them about (TJ) she was very rude and quick was not understanding at all

All four employees made me feel completely at home and genuinely had my best interest in mind. My loan specialist was not only super knowledgeable but also hella funny! Her husband works in real estate, wink - wink and together they make such an awesome team.

Had an appointment scheduled over the phone. Got the run arounds and had to go thru the federal way branch just to get in touch with their puyallup branch employee Daniela, who clearly had me asking her to repeat herself multiple times due to the poor sound quality from their end. Super rude and very unprofessional with how impatient she handled our time over the phone. Exactly why I prefer the Federal Way branch and not this location.

ASK FOR DANIELA TO HELP WITH YOUR LOAN!!! IF YOU GET TJ, DONT BE SURPRISED THAT SHE IS RUDE!!
Daniela is super amazing! Right out the bat, she is very genuine and welcoming and works on taking care of you. You can definitely hear and see her passion to help people as she went above and beyond to take care of my request for a loan. She is truly an asset to the company, and I hope her management knows that! She will go far in life, I just know it!
Instead of a 10, I gave a 7 for the survey that you take after applying and I am giving a 4 star google review because a certain manager (TJ) called me and followed up with some final information she needed. When our conversation hit a dead end for approval of a loan. She just blatantly said too bad and ended our call. Sounds like she is the type of person that is working for just a paycheck instead of going above and beyond to help others. Not only is she leaving a bad taste for people to not recommend OneMain Financial. She is leaving money on the table by not trying other alternatives to help.
Daniela did the opposite. She tried alternatives to help me and that is what made the difference. :) She is a go getter and a very helpful person!!

Never call back when they say they will. When they “attempt” to call you they let it ring for one second then end the call don’t even give you a chance to answer.

I have never in my life came across an individual who lacked customer service skills as much as TJ. Unfortunately when I applied for a loan I was assigned to TJ as my loan specialist. From the beginning she was rude, short and dismissive. And I mean BEYOND rude, disrespectful, belittled me, taunted me I mean the list goes on. I don’t understand how she is employed there to be honest. I called the other Puyallup branch and spoke with Cathy (who was AMAZING by the way) she directed me to Martha the branch manager at this location and she was very nice, she listened to my concerns in regards to my interaction with TJ, apologized immensely and told me to contact her for any future needs on my account. That is the only reason I am giving this location a 1, because of my final interaction with Martha. Compassion and kindness goes a long way and she took the time to show some.
TJ on the other hand should NOT be allowed to assist customers in my opinion until she receives proper training on how to work in customer service. You never know what someone is going through on the other end of the phone. At the bare minimum be kind. God bless you TJ I hope you get the help you need to be a better representation of One Main.

I was amazed at how professional the Puyallup team was. After being denied by my bank, they approved me in under an hour and a half. Highly recommended

I understand people having a bad day but dang just totally had me view this company differently. And not in a good way. Talked with the rudest loan specialist in my life. Which made me back out of my loan with them. Not going to recommend this company anymore

I applied for a loan with one main financial. I was approved for a loan today. I went into the office to meet with the loan officer by the name of Stacy out of the south Hill office. I have never applied for a loan before, and the experience was new to me. My first impression I asked for Stacy . They made me feel like I should’ve already known who she was. Rudely pointed back to where her desk was. Which was mid back of the room. I was treated horribly in the office. They were very dry. They treated me like I was supposed to know exactly what I was doing and made me feel stupid. An elderly lady sitting in front of her was very rude. I’m assuming she was another Loan officer? She told me to sit down while they verified my account. As I moved toward the back of the room where Stacy was sitting. And where I was pointed to go. As if I knew what the process was already. The customer service was awful and I was treated as if I should’ve already known the protocol. When I sat down with Stacy, I was told that they had sent me another upload for the document that I had already sent them. When I logged in the document was already uploaded, so I sent It again for the second time. Not sure why they couldn’t find it. Stacy, very very rudely. Told me that they had sent me an upload to my email for the document as I should’ve already known that. They told me that I did not have one of my documents that was clearly already uploaded.I had trouble slightly with my phone when setting up the account. With going back-and-forth from my phone to the email to trying to get the code. I was told that I could go home to use my computer if that worked better. Very unfriendly and unhelpful .They were very rude to me and I have no idea why. I was completely polite the entire time. I was a potential customer in a new environment. I am very disappointed in the way things went. Even though I was approved for a loan, I will not will not be accepting the loan. The way you treat people and make them feel is important when doing business. Shame on the south Hill office.
