The Grooming Dept with Serenity and Kayla are amazing. I have a sensitive corgi recovering from cancer treatments and he has 1 eye. He's always happy with his VIP treatment and so am I.

After a failed grooming at an Illinois Petco store, the CEO & Regional manager contacted the Puyallup store manager, Josh. Josh reached out to me about how he could make it right. Olympia was given the ViP treatment & I was given a $50. Petco gift card! When I saw Olympia, I was amazed at the job that Groomer Julia did. I would say that both Josh & Julia are great assets to their company! The store itself is clean & well stocked.
Puyallup Petco is the store to shop at for your pets!

This is my favorite place to bring family pups to get groomed and for treatos!! They always love being able to go in the store and sniff around.
I've had great experiences in the grooming department over the years with various dogs. The groomers are always knowledgeable and kind.

Very rude blonde female, 20s, working register on Monday Dec 2nd @ 6:30PM @ South Hill location. Rude in general. Bad customer service in general from this employee.

Store is a joke, I always end up waiting 20-30 minutes for help with fish and then another 10 just to check out. Got ignored by two different employees after waiting 20 minutes, tried to check out and despite there being two employees off to the side and three other people wanting to check out, neither of the employees came to the register. I dropped my stuff and walked out

We shop at Petco often. This was probably my first time in this location in quite a while. The parking lot was 3/4 full and we had to park towards the road but no big deal. The store was clean inside and the staff was helpful. We found what we needed and were in and out rather quickly. I recommend checking out this location.

I brought in my rescued Shih Tzu. She was very matted and dirty. I was told that they would probably have to shave her. They did shave her and did a beautiful job. Her coat is very smooth. I have no idea how they were able to shave her so closely all over her body, including her tail and ears. I am impressed and will definitely be back. Thank you.

Update- I love the selection of cat food so I come here once a month but the lady working with the brown short curly hair was extremely rude. Shouldn’t they have customer service skills?

Had an appointment for my two dogs to get their nails clipped and paws trimmed up. From puppy training till yesterday I have always taken my dogs there. Now oldest dog has an arthritic left shoulder. I have always be made known at every appointment since her symptoms started just so they could be gentle with it. She can sit. stand and attempt to give you a full hand shake with that leg. I was asked if she was on any kind of medication to which I answered yes. "I have her on a product that has hemp seed extract in it", I said. I was told that she would have to be off of any kind of cannabis for 24 hours before they would groom her. Now I did try make the appointment happen. She brought in her supervisor. They refused to take her. Company policy. Seems ridiculous as hemp seed extra has basically no THC if any. They sell products like that on their selves and they sure can't sell CBD. They didn't even inquire about the product name she was on. It was a straight line "NO". I did ask on why I was not made aware of said such policy before I scheduled the appointment. It seems as if they have as if they have a "don't tell and we won't ask" approach. So what is really best for your pet? I really don't see myself stepping into this Petco again. I am not going to make my dog any more uncomfortable than she is for any kind of grooming. I called the competition and with full disclosure was able to set an appointment. I have been buying her joint supplement there anyway and now they will get all my impulse shopping dollars as well.
