Called Larry to verify he could work on air conditioning on my 2017 Ford Escape. He said he could, we made an appointment.
It's tough to get my wife and I available at the same time to drop a vehicle off with kids and work. We did, made our way to drop the vehicle off. When we arrived, he said "Let me make sure it's not 1234yf." which is a refrigerant used in many cars after 2015 and all cars after 2021.
I immediately said, "It is 1234yf." He replies that he can't work on it, so we'll have to find somewhere else to take it. He doesn't know who.
Again, from his reviews it's obvious he does good work but I hope in the future he'll try to be more considerate of other people's time.

My best friend’s dad recommended this place to me a few months ago when my alternator decided to suddenly die on me. They got me in within a day or two and had the alternator replaced that afternoon. Super quick, very friendly and VERY reasonable prices! I’m taking my car to Puyallup Auto Tech for any car troubles from here on out!! Thank you guys!

Highly recommend this company for car repairs. I brought in two work trucks and my personal truck in for repairs. I had my spark plugs replaced, brake replacement, AC repairs among other issues. Affordable prices and great customer service!Services: General repairs & maintenance

03/31/2023This is a great place to have to have your vehicle repaired at. I will warn you they are super busy at times and you may have to wait until the following week to get your vehicle in for repair. I've had my pickup truck worked on several times by their crew. Some of the maintenance and repairs they've done for me are oil changes, transmission fluid change, rear differential fluid change, coolant flush shocks, rear brakes, heater core flush, and a/c repair. Excellent work and prices on repairs!
