This was hands down the worst experience I’ve ever had at a salon. I went in to see Sophea Kang for a trim and all-over color. I very clearly told her my top priority was keeping my length — my hair was down to my waist, and we agreed on cutting no more than 2 inches. Instead, she dry cut over 5 inches off without warning. I burst into tears on the spot, and her response? “Well, I already cut it so I can’t put it back.” No apology, no accountability — just cold indifference.
The color came out uneven, blotchy, and patchy. When I asked if she could at least tone it to fix the mess, she replied, “After this I’m done trying to fix it.” The layers she cut were harsh, blocky, and had no blending — just straight, choppy lines. It looked like a rushed, amateur haircut.
I sat in the chair crying for over two hours and wasn’t offered so much as a tissue, let alone basic compassion. The next day, I had to scramble to book an emergency appointment at another salon just to fix the damage — ultimately paying twice as much because I had to pay two professionals to get the result I should’ve gotten the first time.
I wouldn’t recommend Sophea to anyone. She needs serious retraining in both technique and customer care. No one should have to leave a salon in tears and spend extra time and money fixing someone else’s careless mistakes.
Avoid at all costs.

Cindy did my hair. She trimmed and permed it and I LOVE IT!!! 1000 times over I’d go back! She also (after I asked) showed me shampoo and product for my hair. It’s been a long time time since I’ve had a perm and this one by FAR has been THE best one yet. She’s got me now as a client🫶🏽

Great staff, awesome hair styles and items to buy. I purchased some hemp hand and body cream that is some of the best I have ever bought. With the summer heat, my skin has really become dry. After trying this lotion, it stopped the itching, dryness and the appearance of damaged skin that the sun gives.

Just got my hair cut and colored by their new stylist...needless to say I won't be going back. For 1 she is super rough and went a bit shorter than i would have liked but that is what it is. When she was finished coloring and cutting my hair she started to straighten my hair and the went curly. I thought nothing of it until today when I straightened my hair and noticed that one side is considerable shorter. I have a big week this week and will be wearing my hair in a ponytail until it grows out enough to get it fixed. What a waste of my money. The only reason that I'm not giving a 1 star is because Cindy did my mother in laws hair and she was so amazing. I actually wanted her to do it but was in a time crunch and she wasn't available.Services: Hairstyling
