All they want is money, and they force you to sign this and that. But the manager is cool.

Ray and Sarah were excellent help! We were next door getting my jeep serviced and me and my buddy went to look at trucks and ended up buying one. The process was smooth as butter. GO CHECK THEM OUT!!

I went in feeling optimistic because their listings include a graphic stating they offer 110% of KBB for trade-ins. However, during the appraisal, they rated my vehicle as being in “good” condition, which according to KBB implies minor cosmetic damage or repairable mechanical issues. When I asked what specifically justified that rating, I was told it was simply because my car “wasn’t desirable,” not due to its actual condition.
Additionally, the advertised 110% of KBB is misleading—it’s not a true over-allowance on the vehicle’s value, but rather calculated using tax savings from the trade-in to reach that number. That distinction was not clearly disclosed upfront and felt disingenuous compared to how the offer is marketed.

I found a truck online and decided to inquire about it.
If you don’t read anything past this, the synopsis is this business is unethical, lacks communication and follow through, and will lie through their teeth just to make a sale. They will certainly refute this and try to make me sound untruthful in their response to this, but I have the receipts and unlike the government, I’m not afraid to update this post and show the truth.
When I first inquired about this truck, a guy named “Ray” emailed me quickly and he texted me. We exchanged some texts and asked why the price was so high considering they were over $20k above Kelly Blue Book value. Their response was it has lift, wheels, tires, “etc”. When asked what exact upgrades were “etc” he ghosted me for a while. I came in on a Sunday because I was in the area. A salesman greets me and I say I’m looking for “Ray”. The salesman with a surprised look on his face claimed to be “Ray”. I still think he’s lying about that. We look at the truck and I can tell right off the bat the “lift kit” is blocks in the rear and coil spacers up front with the stock shocks stretched out more than 2 ton Tina’s yoga pants. I also noticed the wheels and tires were stock and the wheel covers were just plastic. No “etc” upgrades were found because they don’t exist. After the second time I told him no I didn’t want to test drive, I finally agreed. Battery was dead and the lot boy said he wasn’t surprised as this truck sat at the auction for a very long time. That’s concerning… we get the truck started and the main screen which controls the entire truck doesn’t work. Salesman blames it on a “blown fuse”. We get back and this salesman claiming to be “Ray” tells me to wait outside while he grabs a card. He comes out with a business card for “Ray” but the card has a cell phone number that I hadn’t texted him on before. Red Flag x4. He brings out this Mr. Clean looking dude with a tan who tried to initiate small talk and tell me everything I wanted to hear. He was really pushy. He wanted to talk numbers and wanted my trade and said they would go do this and that. I said I wasn’t doing anything until the truck was fixed. He said he would take it to Ford the next day as it has a factory warranty. Well it’s a Canadian truck and the warranty doesn’t transfer over. Google it. It’s not impossible but it’s very very rare that Ford will transfer factory warranty. There’s lie at least 3. He wouldn’t take no for an answer and I finally left. I looked up the “lift kit” and the wheel covers and found out it was only $1000 max for the upgrades. I texted the salesman later that evening with my concerns and said we needed to be closer on price and trade in for me to come back in. ghosted again.
The next day I get an email from “Ray” that says “hey heard you came in yesterday, sorry I missed you.” I’ve lost count of the red flags at this point. I call the store and leave a message. Nothing for hours. I call back as I leave work and the guy who answers the phone says “sorry Ray didn’t call back he’s an old man” the guy who claimed to be “Ray” wasn’t old. So again I have no idea who the hell Ray is still at this point. The guy who answered asked how he could help and I gave him the rundown and asked where the repairs were at. He said they were going to have their own mechanic look at it instead of the afford dealer because the mechanic at the dealership have better scan tools than the dealers. After I got done laughing at that ridiculous comment, I asked them again to justify being so far over Kelly blue book. He said he would go back to his boss and let me know. Calls back and says they can come down $1000. Not even close to being where it needed to be. I flat out just asked them if they are looking for a sucker to buy it so far over bluebook and they finally in a roundabout way said yes. I feel bad for the guy who bought the truck.

I don’t normally leave reviews but my experience deserves one. I originally sent an inquiry and Daisy helped start the process. When I arrived, her coworker Troy jumped right in and made the process so easy. He made sure every concern was addressed and handled and he was very personable and fun to talk with. Ben in finance was also great. I think this was one of the quicker car buying experiences I’ve had which was nice. Thanks again Troy!
