Went through 4 windows before they could get it correctly. Took 30 days to finally get it done.

I was the first to have my windshield replaced and they did it but they didn't do it correctly, I had to go back again so they could do it better this time, but instead of doing it the same day, because they had done it wrong, they made me another appointment and I had to go back for something that wasn't my fault and after that it still didn't fit properly and my windshield has a leak

We had been scheduled for a week to have them out yesterday. The technician called and said 2 guys had called in sick and it was all on him to get the route done. I expressed my sorrow for the days scheduled but kindly asked if we were on that list as we had been waiting for a week. He said yes. Great! When he was on the way, he called while I was in the bathroom. Literally waited 3 minutes...I called him 3 minutes after his call (Yes I went #2) and he had already left because he "couldn't find my house" and was on the other side of 410. Which means he waited LESS THAN 3 minutes and did not even come to the house. He said dispatch had rescheduled me and that I would need to call them. After calling dispatch and pleading with them to get this done today, she said it would not happen. Dispatch hung up on me after I refused to allow them to reschedule me.After pushing the issue by calling back, she "made it happen although she couldn't really fit it in..." She had the technician come back, despairingly...although she stated it was a hassle and that the route was more fun because 2 had called in sick. Are we really living in this era with this type of customer service? Safelite, this is by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I run a small business and have been in public education for 17 years. You have an extremely poor system for such things happening as "people calling in sick" to respond to customers this way. I kept shaking my head wondering if this is truly a real scenario.I have a meeting to discuss with Ryan or Brenda on Monday, the managers of the Puyallup store. I hope someone from the store see's this and responds or either plans a meeting with me regarding this situation.

Good job! He did everything right, including very nice customer services. He would make an excellent husband for my granddaughter... too bad, he's already married. *grin*

Had a cracked windshield. Our ins company recommended this company. Wow! What great service! Quick to schedule a replacement, install was great and follow thru was fantastic! Unfortunately, a week later, I was gifted a rock chip! They set a a chip repair quickly, came to my home and I am so happy with the outcome. Definitely recommend this company.

I have tried to get my car windshield repaired by Safelite for a while now. They have canceled the appointment on me four times, due to various reasons. Worst of all they don't seem too sorry about it. Maybe a free set of wipers or something, but nothing. Just crickets.Inexcusable. Unprofessional.

Had my windshield replaced on 5/3/23 not only was the service completed in 1/3 of the quoted time at drop off, my car was vacuumed out when I got it back! Hopefully I won’t need another new windshield again but if I do I’ll definitely be coming back to this Safelite!

Where do I even start ? opened a claim in mid December 2022 it is now 04/25/2023 and its still not correct and now I have a leaking windshield. I have now had SafeLite out to the house more than 6x's. on one occasion my appointment was between 12-5 . I received a call mid morning saying that he would be to the house at 3 pm. So I did my normal errands and arrived home at 253pm. I sat and waited and waited around 5pm I watched the security cameras only to see that he was already at the house. He showed up at 2:40 and then left 4 mins later. I have many scratches/gouges on my new $100K car that is less than a year old and and less than 8k on the odometer. I washed my car the other day only to see soap inside the vehicle. I have been Working with the " GM " Brian. He says he wants to help but nothing has been done until I called today after discovering more scratches after doing my own investigating. Im amazed how much they covered up and didn't say a SINGLE WORD TO THE DAMAGE THEY DID !

Seth was my technician and repaired my windshield for me, the nicest guy ever and was very efficient and accommodating to my needs. I had to reschedule my appointment several times and the website made it so easy for me and setting up everything through my insurance. Also they were very responsive and called me before they showed up and even came to my work. I will recommend Safelite to anyone!

Horrible experience, and half a day wasted! But after reading these reviews, I'm actually glad they didn't have my windshield in stock. God knows how much worse it could have been if I'd given them my money or let them work on my car!DO NOT use Safelite! Don't let them convince you that they are the only ones with a lifetime guarantee - they are not. It is NOT easy or convenient to make an appointment, and their communication and professionalism are non-existent.TLDR: Impossible to reach a real person by phone, hard to schedule, inconvenient location, incompetent staff, horrible communication (internal and external), and no apology or attempt to compensate for wasted time.Tried to schedule an appointment online. At the end of the process, it said that the appointment could not be scheduled, and that someone would call me to set it up. No one did (until seven hours later), so I tried to call them. It turns out, you can't call them directly. No matter what number you call, it sends you to an automated system, and when you say you want to schedule an appointment, it tells you that you can do that online, and hangs up on you. No other options. On their website, there is an option to chat. So I tried that. What I got was someone whose responses were so scripted that I might as well have been chatting with a bot. "I'm so sorry you have window damage!" Eventually, she (it) gave me a different phone number to call, where I finally did reach a real human being. Still pretty scripted, but marginally better. Finally got the appointment scheduled, but at a location 45 minutes away from me.The location is insane. In the middle of an industrial complex, difficult to find, and miles from anything you might want to do for two hours instead of sitting in the tiny waiting room with five other people. When we showed up, the girl informed us that the call center had not contacted them at all, so they were not prepared, and had not even checked to see if my windshield was in stock. They would do that now, though, she assured me, and call us in about two hours when it was done.So we took an Uber ($16 each way) to go get some food. An HOUR later, they called to tell me that they did not, in fact, have my windshield in stock. Not so much as an "I'm sorry." She offered to reschedule for the next day, but I work almost every day, so this was the only day I was available. They offer a mobile service (for $49 extra, which she did not offer to waive), but the first available appointments weren't for almost a week. I finally decided I'd wasted quite enough time on these idiots, took another Uber back, and picked up my car. When I arrived home, I looked at reviews (which I should have done earlier, but didn't because they are so well known), and not only found all the one star reviews for this place, but also all the nearly five star reviews for Today AutoGlass. I called them, spoke with a friendly, articulate lady, and within five minutes, I had a mobile appointment for the next day, for the correct windshield, for less than Safelite was charging WITHOUT the mobile service.Don't be fooled by the familiar name and sponsored ads. Your time and money are much better spent elsewhere.*PS: You can tell how much a company values your business by the sincerity of their replies to negative feedback. Looks like Safelite has a bot handling that, too... LOL

Gieco my insurance company led me to use this company to service my broken windshield. They first scheduled the repair for the wrong address. After 2 weeks of waiting, they had to reschedule me from the Tacoma location to this Puyallup location. Another 2 weeks went by, the tech came, broke the trim parts that were on the window, told the tile contractor working on my house, not me or a family member that he couldnt fix it and would be back. When I called him he told me someone else had broke those parts. I know that was a lie because I watched the Tacoma tech who replaced the windshield the summer before put them on. They were not broke. HE BROKE THEM. So another 2 weeks go by and I hear nothing. I call. They tell me the windshield could be replaced it would just look strange until the part comes in. So really the first guy could have fixed it, he just didn't want to. I scheduled the appt again., another 2 weeks. Now were at 6 weeks of waiting. They come out and the tech that day broke the new windshield he was supposed to put in. 9 days later they text me my parts are in. On day 10 the i get a text the tech will be at my place between 8am and 5pm... the same morning I got a voice mail from their office saying the parts aren't in asking if I would like to reschedule. This while the tech is telling me he's on his way. He arrives.. with all the parts. Fixes my window. Installs the trim WRONG. Didnt clean anything up, glass shards all over the hood of my car and dash. Left my door open so my car battery went dead and interior was soaked, from rain. After sotting with a full crushed windshield in snow and rain for TWO MONTHS, the inside of my car is now molded. The header is covered in mold as well as the dash and doors. It will need an expensive interior detailing to fix it. I emailed. No response. Ive left voice mails, no response. HANDS DOWN ONE OF THE WORST EXPERIENCES WITH A CAR REPAIR I'VE EVER HAD.Ive used the Tacoma Safelite several times and never had one single problem. LOCATION matters. Puyallup was the worst.

Steering wheel adjustment was broken during windshield replacement. Windshield wiper not adjusted properly. Next day they stopped working. Just know that they are not mechanics. Anything that breaks, your on your own.

We had Safelite replace our windshield, after receiving a rock chip that shot all kinds of directions very quickly after it occurred. They did a wonderful job. A few months later, our automatic windshield wipers were not functioning. We called and made an appointment with the car dealership, which was scheduled about 2 months away from the date we called. When taking the car in, we were asked if the windshield had been replaced. When confirmed it had been, we were told something had not been done correctly and would have to be repaired by the company who did it. We drove the car that same day to Safelite and were surprised at their willingness to help! They checked it and repaired it right then. We didn't have to make an appointment for a later time! I am very impressed with their service.
