Came in at 3pm to pick up a prescription, the doctor sent the prescription to the other safeway on Canyon Rd. No big deal, they said it would be an hour because they needed to transfer, I totally get it. Called just now to see the status of my prescription and whoever answered my call was not very nice, she asked why I was calling them instead of the other safeway and asking if I was sure if I came to the right place. I am going down to the other one to pick it up now. I guess they never passed the notes to each other to relay information. I get it's busy but dealing with people's medications should be handled with more care. She never apologized or said sorry for the inconvenience or anything. Lame.

I recently had an incredibly unprofessional experience at this pharmacy, all thanks to a staffer named “Kristi” who displayed an appalling lack of decorum, self-awareness, and remorse. Kristi, who had purple hair, seemed more interested in making jokes and laughing with colleagues than actually helping patients in urgent need. I was waiting to pick up a critical prescription for severe pain management due to kidney stones—something no one should have to wait long for. Kristi repeatedly lied, telling me it would take only 40 minutes to dispense the medication, yet after FOUR hours of waiting, I was still faced with her unprofessional, callous, and downright cruel behavior.
Her behavior was shockingly immature, considering the seriousness of the situation. Instead of showing any sense of urgency or compassion, she joked around while patients in pain—including myself—were left waiting. It’s beyond frustrating that someone in such a critical role could be so indifferent and dismissive. I expect much better from a pharmacy when dealing with health and well-being. This experience was unacceptable, and I sincerely hope action is taken to address this complete lack of professionalism!

The staff in the pharmacy are rude and treat me like if im stupid. It’s happened more than once. I will rather drive further to the other safeway on canyon.

Very friendly staff and the line moves fast compared to other pharmacies in the area. If you need a prescription filled as soon as possible, they are quick to fill it same day usually within 45 minutes.

I am completely amazed how many prescriptions this small little Pharmacy fills and how many people they serve! I received a phone call on a Sunday from the Pharmacy Manager because she was concerned that she wouldn't be able to fill a prescription for me. I don't know if many of you are aware but there are shortages on medications. Add it on to this difficulty they've also had vaccines, boosters and Covid test dped on them! Then the script load tripled. So most pharmacists have 5 full-time jobs that have been dumped on them. Did corporate give them any extra help? Let me answer that question for you, the answer is an astounding NO!!So please be patient when you come to the pharmacy. Because it doesn't matter what pharmacy you go to. They are all slammed right now. Every single Pharmacy does not have enough staff in place to handle the increase in demand of services.My top two tip. Don't wait till you're out of medications to contact your doctor. Most importantly explain to your doctor to be more flexible in the medication that they're prescribing to have either or put in your prescription. So either tablet or capsule form can be prescribed. This way the pharmacy doesn't have to play telephone tag with your doctor for weeks on end..

Absolutley no reason my prescription should take 2 hours to fulfill. I've already received the text alerts saying that my items have been filled and are "ready" for pick up. After picking up they say one more item needs to be filled, and that it should be another 45-60 minutes. WHAT!!!! After today I'll not waste my time here anymore. Sorry, gave you 4 years to get it together now I'll go somewhere else. Peace ✌

Go somewhere else. Every single time there is an issue with my prescription. Either they "didn't get it", or it takes forever to fill. Extremely slow.

Last couple of times PU, the staff seemed irritated that we are there to PU medication they are supposed to provide from a doctor's prescription. I am not sure what is happening at this location, but, Customer Service is not important to them. I am sorry that we need medication to feel better or fix issues we are having. PLEASE, treat people with some respect.

Incredibly slow service. I would avoid going here. Went back twice for a prescription and even called ahead. Was told they would be ready in 30 to 45 min and it took almost 2 hours.
