I'm a new customer at this pharmacy and I only have positive things to say. Pharmacy staff is super nice and helpful and even try their hardest to save you money on already expensive prescriptions which I totally appreciate.

I have been going to this pharmacy for 20+ years. Seen many pharmacist retire. The girls that work the counter and in the back have been amazing to me. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Wow, this place is bad. I just had to come here to get some Tums and then use the restroom and wow Safeway wow. You have no standards. The bathroom was disgusting like no one had cleaned it all day and they were used an empty alcohol bottles in the trash. Do you not have enough employees or something??? Never returning!

After transferring my meds to this location it's been a horrible experience.
There's some new people in this pharmacy and they will not look past their nose to help you. Had a critical medication with a prescription on file and yet they claim they couldn't find it.
After calling over to the other Safeway in Puyallup where I had my prescription before. Not only could they find it! They could find three other scripts that needed to be filled, that I've been waiting for over a month!
I think I'm going to be pulling all my prescriptions from Safeway at this point. Safeway give your pharmacist the proper hours that they need so they can fill our prescriptions and not lie to me and say that they don't have it because they don't want to fill it!

I have been going to this pharmacy since it opened and have always been treated with the utmost kindness, respect, and professionalism! They also work with my PCP and insurance to find a way to get meds my insurance won't cover! I just do not understand all the negative reviews.

I use this pharmacy only because it’s necessary. It’s within walking distance of my home and I don’t have a vehicle. If that wasn’t the case, I would pick ANY other. They are very disorganized and lazy. It takes them 3+ days to fill out a prescription sent in by my doctor and when I call to see if it’s ready, it takes another couple of hours.
One time I had a more expensive medication I wasn’t sure if it was going to be covered by insurance but my doctor sent it in. I was told it was covered when I called in but when I arrived to pick it up, it was over 1,000! I asked the lady if she had run my insurance and she goes to the back, takes another 10 minutes to run insurance… I don’t know why it wasn’t done before this!? Then came back and after running my insurance, the cost was higher than before!? There’s no way that’s possible.
Save yourself the trouble and find another pharmacy.
Honestly might do another pharmacy myself and just sign up for delivery… I’m sure even that would be faster than these guys.

I got a text stating my prescription was ready last Thursday, Sept 28th. I couldn't make it in until Wed Oct 4th to pick it up...less than a week after I got the text. They lady, who was nice enough, went to look for it. When she comes back this tall, dopey looking guy in a white pharmacists shirt and chin diaper, comes over to us and starts ranting about how they need to stop all vaccination orders immediately. He was so rude an unprofessional. They lady helping said something and went to the back. I didn't hear what she said because of this clowns ranting. He just started looking at me and asking rudely "Is there anything else you need?" I said I didn't hear what she told me and he just said we canceled your prescription because you didn't pick it up in time. You get less than a week to pick up your prescription now? This guy was so rude. If he hates his job so much he such go find a place where he doesn't have to deal with the public. My wife has had issues with this clowns customer service as well. The whole pharmacy is unorganized and pretty much a dumpster fire. Not the first issue with them. Switched my stuff to a different pharmacy. Should have done that a while ago.

To keep it simple: the staff at this pharmacy are rude and lazy, which may be interpreted as incompetent, but more likely the former.
When trying to request transfer of medications from one safe way to this one, the staff member said she didn't feel like doing it as it was tedious. She said she will eventually get to it.
Came back 5 days later and the new staff member saw no new medication transferred, but instead of trying to help or inquire about the situation, she seemed more interested in talking over me and walking away. I had to stop her from rambling over me so that she could actually listen to what I'm asking her. Then she walked away without addressing any of the questions I asked. For requesting a new prescription that was good she said there was none that she could see. Then after acquiring further she says there was one. Their attitude and behavior and the interaction with staff really makes it hard to trust and interact with them regarding important issue such as medications, which is very concerning given a lack of professionalism and responsibility exhibited.
I really hope they make efforts to improve, but I will not hold my breath.

dropped $100 bill on the ground at a end cap i went to grab the item on my list and saw a employee kinda rush to get behind me out the corner of my eye and I start to get up and turn to pick up my phone and money and he's already got the $100 bill and ignored me when confronted and went to the back room smh why are your employees stealing my hard earned money clearly it was right next to me and my phone was on the ground while I was deciding what brand I wanted to get ugh doubt I'll ever get my money back or any compensation considering when I talked to the store manager he kept saying nobody can check cameras he isn't gonna talk to him and get it back for me but instead sends him home early and then tells me if I make a big deal about something that unreal I'm going to ban you for life from my store smh why are y'all's store managers so mean and never wanting to do their job as a manager except to treat us like garbage when we get stuff stolen from us like me or if an item you picked up off the self is leaking automatically assumes you tampered with the item and or were stealing when neither were happening ugh i wish I could get my $100 back or compensated over all this . my local safway needs a new manager that cares for his paying customers not treat us like we're just walking atms for your store and don't have any feelings or thoughts anyways 136th and meridian swear Someone from HR needs to go in undercover or send a teen family member in to see how poorly some of us are treated and targeted

Update: dear Albertson/Safeway. thx for your reply, but no thanks to take further steps to reach out to you guys so I can help you serve me better. That should've been your employees' goal in the first place! I'm already taking the time to rate and review you all. How about you overhaul your whole company for better people? There are several unfriendly associates in every department of this store. I come to this Safeway bc I live close by. Lived in this area for 15 years will often stop shopping at this location due to the unfriendliness of the clerks. Some of the clerks just seem so miserable that they're not approachable. The seafood and bakery clerks don't seem to want to deal with people waiting to order seafood or bakery items from their case. I've stood in front of these cases on several different occasions waiting for a clerk to notice I'm needing to order from them then eventually decide that I'm done waiting and leave. I had a service deli clerk hold off on handing me my order for what reason I don't know, but he conversed with another customer while my item was bagged and sitting on his counter. There's been only one person who has gone the extra mile to greet and ask if anyone needs help finding anything. I will have to find out their name. Other than that no one else in the store greets any of the customers, and if they do it seems quite painful for them to do so.
