Unfriendly negative and just a lack of wanting to make a sell. No help at all. The woman was kind soft spoken. But he had her making paint most of the time.

Zero stars - my son and I arrived 10 minutes prior to closing after spending 30 minutes trying to color match a Sherwin Williams paint at a big box store. The man behind the counter stated he was unable to help us and to come back the next day which I explained I was unable to do as we were visiting from out of town and didn’t have a vehicle for the remainder of the week. When asked how long it would take to match the paint he said 10 or 15 minutes. I explained the situation and asked if he could help us out - his response was NO. With this level of customer service I would recommend everyone follow our lead and take your business elsewhere

What happened to this store? Worst experience ever today. Waited for an hour just to get a quart of paint. Lost my paint chip so couldn’t do then found, then did. Guess they didn’t say anything before cuz hoping I would just walk out. If wasn’t for the young lady working today; would have too.

If I could give them 0 stars I would,.. literally went in for a paint match on some white trim, sat for a 1/2 hour while the incompetent sales person tried to mix up my paint. When he came out to talk to me he said he'd messed up and put too much yellow in it and had tried to fix it but then put in too much gray and wasn't sure how long it would take him to fix it! I told him I was in the middle of a job and really needed the paint. When I asked if he could do it in the next 10min he just shrugged and said I don't know! Really!?!?! I said I've already been here 35 minutes for something that normally takes 10 minutes do you think you can get it done soon? When he shrugged again and said IDK, I said well maybe I should just go somewhere else then and he said yah maybe you should! Wow!! What great customer service!!

Terrific staff at this location. Store manager is very knowledgeable not only about the products, but about color in general as well as SW color palette, which was delightful to see. I was met with genuinely helpful advice when I inquired about undertones, exposure / light and color temperature impact. I was pointed to similar colors that are more likely to perform as I desired under specific conditions that I described, expanding my search in a good way.Great advice and expertise ?

Went in today with the missus, and was helped by Dylan. Classic experience between the wife and I; she wanted two-tone (preferred colors unavailable), so I was fine with just a solid color. But ohhh noooo, if it’s a solid color, we have to choose an entirely new one. While my match made in heaven and I went back and forth like two people who couldn’t make a decision with a gun to their heads, Dylan politely and calmly guided us through our painful indecisiveness to our final selection (two-tone in very nice colors). The guy even insisted on helping carry out the paint to the car. Very pleasant experience, much appreciation to Dylan for his incredible patience and great customer service. Would definitely recommend this place.

Repainted my kitchen with their Emerald paint. I was covering up a bright green color with a Agreeable grey. Only one coat was needed. Awesome paint and awesome customer service as well. Definitely recommend them over any of the "big box" stores.

Wantrd to start painting our house stopped by to get a 5 gallon, 1 gallon, and 1 quart of their Emerald exerior paint but they were conveniently out due to some paint shortage. ? If they know they are out of paint they should put a sign up so ppl aren't wasting their time picking out paint colors just to find out their out of all exterior paints.

Friendly and knowledgeable customer service every time I have visited the Puyallup store. Paint prices are considerably higher than you will find at big box stores, but S-W runs many discount promotions (usually 30% off) throughout the year.The quality of the paint is excellent. Easy to apply, great coverage.
