Step by step helped me a lot. I wouldn’t have gone this far without them. Thanks to Sig and Elizabeth I will always remember them in my prayers. If there is a ten stars to be given I will surely do

Stephanie a birthing instructor at Foveo suggested step by step when the new infant care classes didn't work for my partner schedule. She told me this program was to get nursing advice, resources and one-on classes. She told me if I sign up with the program that I could have her as my nurse. I got signed up with the program someone reached out to me and asked me if I wanted Stephanie. I said yes because my initial impression of her she's a nice woman but the truth is she has a hot temper and judges disabilities. 30 minutes prior to my appointment she asked me if I signed the consent to treat forms she emailed. I never received the forms, she resent them. She neglected to mention you have to download an app to be able to sign them. I told her my phone is not working properly, I cannot handle any more data. She told then she'll send them in the mail, which I had no problem with. However on our Telehealth appointment , not the phone call appointment we originally discussed , she neglected to mention again you need to download another app just to do the Telehealth appointment. I reminded her again I can't do that with my phone and I cannot afford another phone right now. She snapped at me and told me I don't have to have the step-by-step appointment if I'm not willing to do that. I honestly was frustrated that she wanted to kick me out of the program over me not being able to download apps with my phone that's not working properly which is out of my control when I cannot afford another phone. She learned what I was talking about on the phone call appointment when my calls keep dropping. I got the consent to treat in the mail but they were not normal consent to treat forms. She didn't tell me that I'd have to sign up with another doctor and release all my medical information. I was uncomfortable releasing all my medical information (what was new to me and I've never heard of until now) when I was told this program is for nursing advice, resources and classes. She told me I could cross off that page and I didn't have to if I wasn't comfortable. I worked very hard to get the doctors I currently have I didn't want to change. The main doctors on the list given were Semar medical DR. Offices . I've had very bad experiences with seamar. Including having to have a surgery due to their misdiagnosis. She snapped at me and told me those doctors are for her to work with. She made a big deal about doulas not fighting with doctors but yet she wants me to change doctors. Then she dropped me from the step by step program and on top that the Foveo childbirth classes. I told her why am I being kicked out of the Foveo childbirth classes just because step-by-step didn't work out. When then again I didn't get a choice for that either. When they're both separate programs. She told me I needed a smaller class and because I just don't understand. I understood plenty she didn't properly communicate things to me and she neglected to mention a lot of Vital Information. She also mentioned my partner can't do an all-day class because of his ADHD. My partner said he'd be fine and all day class. Yet she judged his disability . IAn the end was an excuse to be able to drop me from both classes she teaches.
She has no patience,a quick temper, bad communication and dishonest. Quality's you don't want in a Nurse or instructor.

Wouldn't recommend it to any moms who are not on drugs because you won’t be a priority. They’ll give you handouts when they’re in your area but will not provide you with the tools needed to get a way out of your environment. You’re just another number ($) with this organization. My time was greatly wasted this “safe place” constantly left me feeling like I was a bad parent. This isn’t a family environment just another business that sees us as a case, not people. From my experience, they seriously do not care, in my opinion. Wasted a lot of time and energy just to end up homeless.

I would just like to thank this organization for being absolutely wonderful to me and my son! When I became pregnant at the age of seventeen they embraced me where I was at, and helped support me emotionally by effectively educating me about my 5 month pregnancy. They showed me the many resources available to me, during my crisis state. I will forever be extremely grateful for the love they showed to me during that time of my life. I would highly recommend Step By Step to all mothers looking for support during and after pregnancy.
