I am writing to express my deep concern and disappointment regarding the unacceptable behavior of two employees at the 222 39th Avenue SW Puyallup, WA 98373 branch of US bank. On June 29th 2024 I visited the branch to withdraw funds from my account, but instead, I was subjected to humiliating and discriminatory treatment.
Despite having a legitimate reason for wearing sunglasses (eye flu), the employees insisted that I remove them, while ignoring other customers of a different race wearing similar attire. When I inquired about this disparity, one of the employees justified their actions by citing an increase in fraud, which not only harmed my reputation but also perpetuated a harmful stereotype against the South Asian community. When I asked her to show me the protocol of this, she had no answer for that. The name of the employees was “Macy Satter and Jolene Green”
It’s been three years since I have going into this branch since last 3 years and Everytime I went into this branch I faced racism and verbal harassment.
I have video evidence of the incident, which clearly shows the employees refusing to assist me with my transaction. As a successful business owner and operator of a large trucking company, I find it appalling that US Bank's employees would engage in such behavior.
I urge you to take immediate action to address this incident, provide training on cultural sensitivity and anti-discrimination practices, and ensure that your employees understand the value of respecting all customers equally, regardless of race or ethnicity.

Worst customer service. This branch never have enough employees. On top of that when you take cash to deposit or get bigger bills they want you to count first yourself and tell them the amount and then they can verify it . What’s the purpose of money counter machine then . Us bank should close this branch and save time of customers as they never help anyone as per their banking needs. ???

Do not become a customer of us bank. They're banking practices are very deceptive. This Branch especially. In response to Ray. The branch manager at this Branch already had an opportunity to do right by me as a customer and refused.

The Bank does have a lot of fees. The speed bumps in the parking area are horrible. The staff I have worked with are terrific and are quick to offer suggestion if they see an area that would be of benefit to you.

Opened 6 accounts with this branch. Primary point of contact was Jasmine - AMAZING. Had one hiccup with timeframe due to owner's delay not the bank. Moved to Tennessee.Tried to use another branch in WA in Bellevue to handle a large cash transaction - Absolutely no customer service. I had to book in their time and when they wanted to when they decided if they got back to me, and told me it would take about 2 hours to fill out paperwork and verify even though I had several accounts with US BANK.Puyallup had me in and out on a walking in 15 minutes. Will NEBER use another branch if I can avoid it. Will do my business when I fly into WA for clients with this branch only.

This is one Horrible Bank!!! They won't let you close your account or even helped me resolve the Fraudulent issue that I have! My card got stolen a week ago and someone already booked in for 2 nights a fancy hotel that I have never heard or been too! I've been on the phone 4 times and got hold 3 times and hang up 4 times!!! Like seriously! Customer service are horrible! After been transfer 3 times to different department and Noone! Not even one person on the phone can help me. I even went to this bank asking for help? But they gave me a number to call the fraudulent number to fill them in about my case! & yet? It's the same issue! The lady at this bank can't close my account cause I have a negative & I didn't want to use that account anymore due to the fact that this bank won't help you with my issue with the card & my missing money! They even charged you if you dont put money in the account or withdrawal one from the atm account just so you could use your own money? What a rip.off! They have so many fees that i cant even imagine...so dont get an account with them...i dont recommend this bank to anyone...Won't be coming back here ever again....

I am US Bank customer for almost 20 years, but this week when I came to the branch in Puyallup I saw how US Bank is advertising on their ATM machines about pride month.I was very disappointed and terrifying, why in the world would you advertise this? I never see God bless you or Jesus loves youor make everyone happy.Very very disappointed o US BANK

Great service, friendly & knowledgeable customer service, quick in & out transactions. This has been my bank for many years!The only thing about this location is the many, extra large, speed bumps throughout the entire parking lot. However, I appreciate the safety efforts!
