Update: it was cancer, it metastasized, and she died. Confirmed with TWO different veterinarians that the beginning stages of the cancer were on the x-rays taken by petcare clinic, and they were missed.
This place sucks. First and foremost, the front desk staff talk horribly about their customers once they’re off the phone. They whisper back and forth thinking others in the waiting room can’t hear. As far as care goes, they took nearly $1,000 from me over the course of a month because my cat had a limp. Claim they took x-rays but when I requested her medical records to taker her to another vet for a 2nd opinion, they magically didn’t have access to them. 5 minutes at a new vet and they found a giant tumor on her shoulder. Testing her for cancer. Will be extremely upset if it is, and we wasted a precious month of what could’ve been treatment on their incompetence.

We’ve been going here for years and have been consistently happy with their service. Of course if you’re coming here it’s usually for a problem with your pet, so I’m sure these folks don’t get the kudos they deserve. The new office is great, lots of space and parking! The office staff is friendly and patient. The medical team is knowledgeable and kind. We love Dr. Ames and trust him wholeheartedly with our pets. The costs are not terrible for a walk-in clinic, I would say in this area they are fair. Overall we appreciate you guys, thank you for taking care of our pets!

We came to the PetCare Clinic to say goodbye to our baby boy Sako. It was so emotionally hard. But they were so lovely from the moment we walked through the door. Everyone was so kind and appropriate for why we were there. They took us back right away and we were able to have all the time we needed to say our goodbye. One week later they called us to pick up our baby boy. The cremation company did such a wonderful job his urn was engraved with his name, they gave us a lock of his hair and a lovey cast footprint with a certificate of cremation, it all came in a lovely velvet bag. We also got a lovely card from the staff with ink footprints in the mail. They did such a wonderful job taking care of us. Thank you all for making such an emotionally hard experience a little easier.

Horrible experience was a simple fix that could of cost me like $100 with the doctor exam. Instead they tell u stories how there dog died at 1 year old and second at 2 years old. Telling me that they had to do all these tests. Long story short its a hi-way robbery kind of place. No apoitmon needed just walk in and will take as much money as possible from you knowing u wont return again. -$600 for about 1.5 hrs of there time. Ill never return. 0 stars.

We started using this clinic when we adopted a kitten with a minor eye infection and needed to see a vet quickly and our regular vet couldn't see her the same day.
I really like their no-nonsense up front billing and they do a great job explaining what they will do and exactly what it will cost.
We had to bring her in again this week after our kitten hurt her leg falling from a cat tree. The vet was very gentle and kind and they took her for the day to do X-rays to future out of she needed a splint or if she needed to be referred to an orthopedic specialist.
The good news was that she only sprained her ankle and that she didn't even need the splint, so they took that off the bill.
Because she had to stay confined to a dog crate for a couple weeks and won't be able to use a scratching post, I told my spouse that we needed to clip her nails. So I got out the clippers only to discover that the clinic had already done it for us without mentioning it or charging us anything.
This little extra bit of kindness showed me that the people who care for my animals here really do care because they did something extra that was not required of them but actually made a significant difference to the quality of care and made it much easier on me once she came home.

Pet Care Clinic is my first go to place. Despite living in Olympia I prefer to drive the 40 minutes for the following reasons.
1) Pawsome Veterinary care-friendly vets
2) great staff whether front desk or the technicians in the back.
3) Getting my animals seen when they are ill not 3 weeks down the road
4) costs affordable
5) Parking and grassy area to potty dogs after the drive.
You can't find a more caring group...Dr S, Dr A, A+++++

Wasted our time. Price was almost $1000 more then they said when we spoke with them by phone today. So driving there for 45 min each way was pretty disappointing. We had the same surgery on another dog of ours at the same place last year and it was $850 and now it’s $2000 for the same thing which takes less then a hour from walking in to leaving with my dog.

Most of the staff is not very friendly. They take forever to get anything done. And only have 1 doctor for the whole place. If I could I'd go somewhere else

The staff are nice but when you
have a potential contagious pet and you are waiting in the room while the assistant is laughing and messing around…. I saw her on her phone mire than even helping me or my pet. I peeked my head out to see if they forgot about me and I saw her taking photos in protectant gear. Shame on her.

Customer service was exceptional! They took care of our cat very quickly! They took us back with in less than 10 minutes. it took longer to check in, then it’s in for them to take our cat back. The veterinarian even called a few days later to check on our cat to make sure she is OK.

Some of the Vets seem a little disconnected. And prices have gone up. Although I understand prices have gone up everywhere, its still sticker shock.
****I added another star because of the staff that helped me at my last visit. I had to put my dog down. They were so helpful & very empathetic through the process. I received the paw prints as expected but they included by girls nose print. Wasn't expecting that and the card was heartfelt. So Thank You guys very much!!

Horrible wait time over the phone. Seemed like they do not care about your situation with your pet. Hold time was 18mins!

I took my cat here on Monday when he started experiencing some digestional issues that morning. I did not realize this used to be the value pet clinic I took my cats to before years ago and I really liked them back then too. I'm sure the weekends are busier for them but I was surprised how quickly they got us in. The whole place was super clean, staff was so nice, and they took care of my baby right away. I was so worried it was going to cost thousands of dollars or nothing could be done but they took care of everything and were super professional. Will definitely be going back if I need my pets to be seen right away.
