UPDATE - I have reached out to them and they have ignored my feedback. Be warned about taking your pet here. There is great risk. I brought my dog Gilligan to your facility January 7th around 12:30 following my dog appearing to have a back and or leg injury. He was running down three stairs with his sibling and immediately had his back hips and legs drop, was not weightbearing, and was incontinent of urine. He tried to crawl to me and I quickly picked him up and brought him inside. He was able to weight bear on one leg, not the right but was shaking and in obvious distress. I called their facility and brought him in - he was able to weight bear by the time I brought him in but was still in pain and distressed. The vet assessed him by palpating his back and moving both back legs, and then assessed if he had knuckling. His response was slower to bring his feet back up. The total assessment took less than 5 minutes, she had me walk him. Despite my concerns and description of the events she sent me home without any medications or follow-up.Later that day my dog was in distress and I took him to Redmond-Kirkland Animal Hospital where they did a complete assessment, diagnosed him with a likely herniated disc, prescribed pain meds, NSAIDs, and muscle relaxants and recommend I get him to a neurologist as soon as possible. I immediately drove to VSC in Lynnwood where they admitted him and he was assessed, given pain meds, and after assessment by the Emergency Vet - referred to a neurologist in the AM. He was kept overnight into the next day and confirmed to have a herniated disk. By the time he was at VSC he was wobbly and barely able to walk at all.I was charged $180 for 5 minutes of assessment and sent home, without a complete assessment and with a dog with a herniated disc. He could have had more permanent damage from the delay in treatment. I felt dismissed by the vet not taking what happened seriously. I on the other hand had a completely different experience at the Redmond-Kirkland Animal Hospital and VSC in Lynnwood.I am more than disappointed and also very concerned about what happened. I am also concerned about what may happen to other pets.

I was pleasantly surprised by this facility! After calling all of the ER vets within the greater Seattle area, they were the only one with no wait time (compared to all others being a 2-8 hour wait). Getting my pup looked at was quick and easy. I also greatly appreciate that they gave us more pills than needed for my dog’s treatment in case she doesn’t heal as quickly, because this prevents us from having to come in again and pay for additional exams and treatment. Definitely would recommend this clinic to anyone needing emergency care!!

Dr. Courtney Hale was very kind and thorough this weekend. Although it was a bit pricey we felt better knowing the diagnostics were done.

Can’t rate lower. Dr. Chan refused to do the surgery for our cat. She kept our cat in the ER for the whole day without any action, and the hospitalization cost us over $2000 for that night.

My rating is -5 stars. Avoid at all cost. This facility did more damage than treatment to my cat. My cat went in with a lily poisoning and she came out with a wound in her paw. An emergency hospital should foster a healing environment but this is not the case. Part of my cat's "treatment plan" is to administer IV fluids continuously for 48 hours, non stop. The animal needs to eliminate the toxins through urine, and if it's not urinating, it's not going to heal. My cat was so stressed and traumatized that she spent over 12 hours without urinating. They used a catheter to make her pee and gave her sedatives to calm her down. On the last day of hospitalization, the cat bolted out of someone's arms and her nail got caught on the kennel and ripped off. Now my cat is in pain because she is missing a nail. The vet techs recommended me to get her a cone. Guess what? They won't pay to treat the damage that they did to my cat. Why would I have to pay to treat an injury that I wasn't involved in? Yes, my cat decided to bolt and injured itself, and I am her owner, but the injury is a result of negligence and lack of care and education. This drama could have been very easily prevented if the environment was fear free, if the staff were better trained at handling animals, and if the facility is cat-proofed to prevent accidental injuries.I did not expect an animal emergency hospital to be such a stressful environment for any animal. The receipt is not clear enough. They asked for more money when I was picking up my cat but did not clearly explain why. I can't tell if I was charged for the extra sedatives and catheter. The vet techs themselves are uncertain. I have been calling to reach a manager or supervisor and I've been ignored. Bad medicine, unethical business, poor education. This hospital should not exist.

They have a good downtown location and a helpful, compassionate care team. I'm grateful for AEHR - of course, my sincerest hope is to never have to see them, but if I need to, I trust them and would recommend them to other pet parents.

Went to get our dog who has cancer checked out. Waited 2 and a half hours with no check in or anything. Place wasn’t busy at the time at all. 6 employees working, no one at front desk. AVOID.

I took my doggo here not too long ago. Great service and team. They're exceptionally responsive, compassionate and attentive. My doggo's temp went up 1-2º after I had taken him to a Urgent care. He had lethargy, lack of eating, and was intermittently moderately shaking. Outlook was not looking great prior to taking him here... But luckily they were able to diagnose and provide me with options on the condition and solution. They treated the problem, gave some potential reasons on what caused the condition. Since then I've been able to isolate the probable cause and he's doing great since.During the whole endeavor I had many questions that they happily answered each as best as they could. Thanks for that!

Our dog, Jack managed to get a puncture wound in his leg of course on a Sunday afternoon. He was bleeding a lot, managed to do a field repair with superglue that reduced it to a trickle. The cut was in an awkward place by the back of his rear foot - we knew it needed more attention to stop it reopening and get it cleaned. We called around - a couple of places were closed or full - getting ER pet-care is hard on the weekends. We were lucky that AEHR had availability. The staff were awesome and got him looked over in <30mins. Jack had a couple of stitches, and some meds to reduce the swelling and prevent infection. Bandages came off today. Dr.Karlgood did a super neat job of the stitching, we’re super thankful for all of their help.

They refused my cat who had gone into anaphylactic shock on a holiday weekend because they had too many criticals and not enough doctors ?

I brought my dog in on a very busy Saturday. He was a healthy 12 year old dog who was energetic and healthy up until just a short period before I brought him in. He became very weak and stopped eating. At first they said they were probably too busy to fit him in but still came out to the car check on him. When they saw how sick he was they quickly took him inside and did their best to make room for his care. I waited in one of the exams rooms and Dr. Carlson came in soon and gave me the diagnosis. A mass and fluid were in his abdomen. He would have to open him up to be certain, but it was probably a cancer tumor. He gave me all my options, what they could do for my dog and what the outcomes could possibly be. I was given a clear range of what everything could cost. He was forthright and upfront with what could be done and conveyed it with kindness. Dr. Carlson gave me wide room to make what I thought was the best decision. I never felt pressured or shamed into making a choice. He said to me: " There is no wrong decision" and gave me the space and understanding to make a decision solely on what I thought was best. Those words allowed me the grace to make stressful, hard choices in the best frame of mind and to think clearly about what I felt was right for my dog. I made the heart breaking decision to put my dog down. They set my Buddy up comfortably in a private room and allowed me all the time I wanted to say goodbye. When I was ready Dr. Carlson came in and gently explained everything he was doing and what would happen. His kindness and the love for the animals he treats is genuine. His gentleness and kind strength helped me very much. Having him there with me took the edge off of my sadness and I felt supported and comforted throughout the procedure. Dr. Carlson is very much in the right profession as a veterinarian. He is knowledgeable, honest, understanding and compassionate. I would recommend this veterinary clinic. All the staff, from the receptionist, vet assistant and the doctors, show a genuine concern and care for their pet patients.

Got there and they were nice enough to check my dog and tall me that it wasn’t really en emergency. They took the time to check my dog and provided unbiased guidance. They gave me the option of taking care of her there, but reassured me that it wasn’t that critical and that I could take her to urgent care or my regular vet the next day.Although I didn’t really used their services, this was very telling to me about how professional they are and that they care.

Last Sunday night, my dog was chewing on a greenie. I noticed she began dry hacking, moving her neck around and licking her lips a lot. I immediately checked to see if I could see anything in her mouth and I could not. I called two emergency vet hospitals and both said it was an emergency, but that I should probably find someone who could see her sooner.I called Animal Emergency Hospital of Redmond, and they were able to see me the minute we got there.By the time we arrived, my dog was no longer having an emergency. They examined her and determine that they could not find or feel anything that could make her choke. They said we could go home. They did not charge me for the exam, and they let me know as I was walking to the counter to pay.I would highly recommend going to this hospital. My girl has been home free of any problems.

I wish I read the reviews... My dog received stitches at this emergency vet hospital and his recovery seemed to be on course. Post-recovery (after stitches were removed), the area became swollen and ruptured. I called asking for a follow-up care but they refused. There is a lack of care and responsibility! Disregard the "awards" and Dr. Jenny Hardy and her team, and go elsewhere!

I recommend this emergency facility 110%. The entire staff are wonderful people.... Very caring and very into detail of treatment and follow up care.
