I had the unfortunate experience trying to get a prescription filled at this Bartell/Rite Aid location. The person "helping" said they did not receive a prescription sent the day before by my PCP. The pharmacy tech called my PCP to have the prescription resent. After waiting 45 minutes at the store. I went home empty handed. He assured me he would call once the prescription was filled. Three hours later, I called and spoke to an unnamed pharmacy tech. He was so rude and unhelpful. He confirmed the pharmacy received the initial prescription and the resubmitted prescription. So they have 2 prescriptions. Upon calling my PCP, it seems this pharmacy has a reputation of wasting peoples' time and having them resubmit prescriptions unnecessarily. After all the wasted time, they do not even carry the prescription! The pharmacy tech told me to go to another location while knowing that the prescription is not carried/stocked by any of the Bartell locations. He gave false information. My care has been delayed by their incompetence and negligence. What a shame to have someone like that work in health care, especially when someone comes in feeling unwell and vulnerable. The whole experience was awful. The pharmacy tech was rude, unkind, and unhelpful. He hung the phone up on me. Please do not send any of your prescriptions to this location or any Bartell/Rite Aid. They lack accountability and empathy. They do not prioritize your heath needs. The website states as a core value "friendly staff is committed to making your experience a positive one." It definitely did not provide that value today.

I've been coming to this pharmacy and this Bartells location for over a decade... I've never had an issue with the staff here. And let me tell ya, Giovanni in the pharmacy.. that kid is superb. From the moment he started there he's has hauled his rear around so fast with the most upbeat attitude. Always. And he always calls me by name, he's super sharp. Props to him. He is a keeper. He definitely could teach some of the recent new hires a thing or two. The two newest ladies behind the counter... massively judgy and full of attitude. NO thanks. ? Not what people need when they are looking for their medication needs.

I’m very disappointed. I came here at 9 am and they said that my prescription wasn’t ready but I called and they said it was ready. Their service is very bad and it takes a very long time. I’ve been waiting in line for 40 minutes. I’ve never experienced a worse pharmacy than this one. I truly miss the bartel drugs pharmacy in redmond town square. The customer service is very bad and they are really rude. I was waiting in the drive thru for 1 hour. They told me that my prescription was ready over the phone and I went to the drive thru and they told me, that my prescription wasn’t ready. I asked themIf they need any more information about my insure and they said no. I came back and they told me that they don’t have my insurance. I was really mad.I hope they change their customer service.

Terrible experience! I've NEVER experienced a pharmacy not answer their phone for HOURS!!!My dr called in a new prescription on 11/14. It was too early to refill, so the automatic text message said they would auto refill on 11/29. The late afternoon of the 29th comes with no notification. I check online - "in progress"...I try the automatic phone - it's not ready. I attempt to call the pharmacist at 4:17. Rings and rings and rings. I call 2 more times, no one picks up. I figure they are swamped and I try calling back at 7. Call 3 more times...no one picks up the phone. I call after hours again to see if I can leave a message for them to check in the morning. Nevermind that this is a medication I am completely out of and am missing the dose for.Wake up this morning, still no notifications or movement online. I call the pharmacy again and still no one answers. On the 2nd try, someone finally answers, but they don't have the full amount in stock even though my dr called it on on the 14th and it is now the 30th!!! She tells me the system notifications are not always accurate. But my dr called in a new prescription with plenty of time and you told me you would refill it?!? Tells me there's 10 in stock (I take 2/day), but if I pickup a partial then I forfeit the remaining and need a new prescription. I'm also asked if I can wait until they can order the full amount - I'm already on day 2 of no medication. Why wasn't this done in advance???Then I go to the pharmacy and they only give me 6!!! Three days of medicine and now, I have to call my dr and get a new prescription sent and filled in the next 3 days. This is absolutely ridiculous!!! And this is not the first time that I've been completely out of other medications when my dr has called them in at least a week in advance. It's also not the first time they have not answered their phone. The owners seem to respond to the negative reviews, but they are they doing anything about it? I will be moving all my prescriptions to a new pharmacy ASAP. Extremely disappointed in every aspect of your pharmacy.

The pharmacist was a bit rude to me when I went in to get my COVID booster shot. He got impatient when I asked him questions, but he started behaving when I also raised my tunes. The same pharmacist didn't seem to care about another customer who was there to pick up her medication. There seemed to be a system malfunction where the customer's insurance no longer covered her medication, but the system still told her the medication was ready for her to pick up. Without showing any empathy or even sympathy, that pharmacist just told her she either made the payment out of pocket or leave, and she told her it would take them 30 mins to unpack the box to get her the medication. What a joke. This is another example of our health care system that is not patient centered. It's all about making the money off people who are suffering, yet the United States spends nearly 19% of its GDP on health care.

It’s truly unfortunate Bartell Drugs/RiteAid dominates the Redmond pharmaceutical retail market. If you can fill your prescription elsewhere I highly recommend doing so.

It is sad to watch what was once a respected local drugstore chain deteriorate into someplace no one I know will shop at any longer. Today I visited the pharmacy for a vaccine appointment and was 15 minutes early. That was good because the line was seven people long. The two employees working the pharmacy counter seemed courteous and helpful but obviously stretched. When I finally got to the counter, I was then sent to a different window to "check in" (I could have gone there originally had anyone indicated it was their process. Then I was sent back to the original area to wait (no seating.) Eventually 15 minutes after my appointment time, I was able to receive my vaccine (again, the employee was kind and helpful.) I had a lot of time to watch while waiting and many of the people trying to pick up prescriptions were told they would have to either come back or wait - even though they had been assured earlier they'd be ready. This store (as well as the other Redmond Bartell which was recently closed) is obviously under staffed. The pharmacy area was dirty, water fountains out of service, medication drop broken, and I could go on. I just won't be shopping here again.

I've been going to this Pharmacy for the last year and the service is terrible. I've waited 45 minutes and couldn't wait longer so had to return a second time to get my prescriptions. They recently closed a location and prescriptions didn't transfer so it's my responsibility to call and get it resubmitted. They also never answer the phone and submitting a refill request on the website goes into a black hole. I would not recommended this pharmacy and I will be switching.

I have been going to this pharmacy for 17 years and have stood in line with many customers of varying temperaments. I can attest the front line counter staff are the most patient and compassionate that exist, including the women on various weights that just happen to wear hajibs. I would encourage customers to use the app and pay for their prescriptions in advance, that significantly cuts wait times down for everyone so that the rest of us don’t have to suffer from customers that are rude, lead rude reviews, and have no appreciation for people of other cultures or the day they might be having waiting on mean people.

I just moved to the area about 4 months ago. I have monthly prescription and the last 2 times I have come to pick them up, the wait time is 45+ minutes. I would not recommend this Bartell Drugs store for their pharmacy.

The overweight pharmacy lady wearing scarf is just too rude. (Sorry I had to be as detailed as possible so the management can identify her) If you don't like working here, please find another job. As patients, we're already suffering from different ailments. Having to go through your attitude on top of that is not required.

The worst pharmacy i've ever been to. Called in my prescription at 9am and they told me it would be ready in 1 hour. That evening I came in to pick it up around 5pm and waited 30 minutes in line just to hear that it wasn't ready yet and it would be another hour. The next morning I came by to pick it up at 9:15am and it still wasn't ready. Even after receiving a text saying it was ready. Waited 30 minutes for her to get it ready. Seriously so awful. Never coming back.

Yesterday, my boyfriend and I wanted to buy some of the canned salmon that is usually sold at most Bartells. He called this store beforehand to make sure they had some in stock. The call was on speaker phone so I heard everything. The woman on the phone was so kind and helpful (her name was Annie). She said "sure" and went and checked. She came right back on the phone and told us exactly how many cans of each type were in stock. We said thanks and that we'd be right there. She then offered to set them aside at the front counter to make it easy for us! How thoughtful. Even the woman running the check out was great! Fantastic customer service at this store!

I've been a customer for many years and do not understand why service in the pharmacy is so poor now. Not only are there long wait times but half the time they don't have what you need. "We don't have that here" We don't carry that". What happened?
