Beware! Once you purchase your furniture from the Redmond Bassett store, you are on your own, as other reviewers have noted. We purchased a custom sofa which was delivered in mid-November 2022. A few weeks later, we noticed the fabric on the back frame was pulling away from the frame. The couch is in our formal living room and has only been used a few times since delivery. We've left two messages on the Redmond Bassett general information line, called customer service, and even emailed our sales person, Michael Gibson, directly, multiple times with photos of the defect. No phone call or email has ever been returned since we began trying to resolve this over a month ago. The lack of customer service provided at what once was a reputable furniture store is absolutely appalling.

Be warned that if you order from this store and there's a mistake on your custom order furniture, this place will not be able to resolve the mistake. You're stuck with what you got. This is my experience. This place is only an authorized-to-sell Basset furniture but is not part of Corporate. Corporate customer service could not help me and was told to speak directly to this authorized dealer. Darren Carlson is the store manager who took my order in person. After going back and forth via email and telephone and having Darren come to my house so that he can see it for himself, he never got back to me. It's been 3 months now since I received my order and no resolution. I spent $5,397 here and I'm basically stuck with what I have. I don't recommend this location.

I could not be more disappointed in my sofa. I have been dealing with customer service since 2019. The backs DO NOT hold up. The seats look like crap. I have gone back and forth with customer service since 2019. I email with different people and they each tell me something different. The backs cannot be helped. This couch has caused SEVERE back pain for my husband. No one cares. This was a HUGE financial purchase and the "solution" is to pack it will a small amount of fill (but not the backs). I have divots in my couch from my husband and I sitting on it (and we are small people). The fill lasts for a few weeks and then we're back to square one. I don't want anymore fill. I WANT MY MONEY BACK FOR THIS PIECE OF CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am consulting with a lawyer. Almost 3 years dealing with this is too long. You will be hearing from my attorney!!!!!

Used to love love Bassett Furniture - loyal customer for over 17 years. Just is not the same quality or service. NO MORE!! We spent over 30k in furniture last year. Defective fabric on the sofas (lint sticks to it like glue, and house cleaners refuse to keep spending time vacuuming it). If you want a beautiful sofa with a guarantee, go somewhere else (or to Restoration Hardware, they are AWESOME even after you have given them your CC.) PS - BELIEVE what others have said on Yelp about Basset Furniture. FOR ME, IT WAS TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Can't wait to haul this crap to the Thrift Store.

We’ve had a terrible experience with Bassett so I will never buy from them again. We ordered living room furniture and a few extra pieces in December. They messed up the order from the start and we had to redo everything because they sold some items that weren’t available anymore. They quoted 3-4 months for delivery and never updated us about delays — we had to prompt for updates. We received part of our order a couple days ago and the couch and chairs have the wrong seat cushions. We let them know and they suggested we bring everything in to compare… as if pictures and measurements won’t be enough for them to believe their mistakes. We’ll be waiting for the rest of our order “until maybe September.” Their business model and approach to customer service is from the 80s — everything is a hassle and they can’t do anything efficiently. I would suggest you go anywhere else!Update: We’ve been in touch with Bassett’s customer service representative for over a week now. They can’t explain why the furniture dimensions are incorrect nor can they fix or remake the pieces. Seriously, DO NOT SHOP HERE.

We purchased both a chair and couch during Covid. Both took longer than expected to arrive. Within 2 months, one of our cushions was misformed and folding into the couch. It took about a month of reaching out to get a response and then 3 more months for replacements. We put them on the couch and within 2 months, now 2 of them are failing! I've been reaching out for 6 weeks with minimal response - I have to follow up repeatedly and still haven't gotten any tangible action. Now our couch is making noise (no ETA on replacement parts) and our chair isn't working correctly, which they are completely ignoring. It's bad enough that my very expensive furniture isn't holding up, but what's even worse is the completely lack of urgency in finding a resolution and lack of regard for my time and experience of constantly having to ask for updates. Based on this experience, I would highly not recommend purchasing from them again - my IKEA couch held up way better than this!

I went to the store and I talk to the sales person for the best sofa w the hardest cushion they had find one I made sure is Custom made , And I paid $1100 extra after 2 months they delivered was the software cushion,we were very disappointed, I called 5 to 6 times no one returned my call , we went to the store and talk to them they to told us we sent some one to Redon the cushion, we waited for a long time no one came or call . We are very disappointed w there Costomer service and the sales person, we can’t use the sofa at all .

Update: I emailed their customer service as suggested by the owner and two weeks have gone by with no response. Have to reduce the review from two stars to one.The staff we dealt with were very nice, helpful and friendly. Regarding the quality of the furniture, I would say it’s OK. Most other furniture stores completely lack any kind of quality furniture these days and that’s probably because that’s what everyone buys….the cheaper the better. If you want fine quality furniture you should find a skilled craftsmen and commission him/her to build you what you want.I’m rating this store only two stars because we purchased the stain guard protection for our purchased items. We had one incident and submitted a claim. The company, Guardian Protection, would not allow us to even open the claim because we were not in their system and referred us back to the store. I contacted the store and spoke to Darren. After explaining the situation Darren assured me he would get someone to resolve the issue and would have the contact us. We’re still waiting.I personally wouldn’t recommend purchasing such protection based on my limited experience with both companies. It didn’t seem like anyone was interested in providing the service the was already paid for.The owner requested I email their customer service. I sent an email immediately. I will post the response soon.

All the sales staff I have dealt with were wonderful. The products are another thing!Bought a couch at Tukwila location 6 years ago and purchased the extended warranty. Right away upon delivery had multiple issues which then the warranty company would not cover because product came that way :(Tried for over a year to get help help with the management and always received the run around. Finally reached someone at corporate office and they said “no refunds” but gave store credit. Couch was garbage and sent to dump because I could not even donate it because they did not want broken furniture either, go figure :(Tried the Bellevue store 5 years later this last August 2020 and today ( April 2021 ) still awaiting the custom “30 day” order (which I was told due to COVID may be delayed.) Timing was not the problem initially, order came in and was completely wrong!Ordered two matching nightstands; One was not even close to the other, the one that matched what was ordered was made very off skew and out of alignment. Was called and told reordered stands came in but were damaged and would be reordered a second time. Then called again and told now it was the wrong stand. Still awaiting third reorder.Also had ordered custom upholstered bed which was sewn wonky with stuffing coming out seams and mismatched all together. We have bed but it looks like I sewed it myself. Parts of it were reordered but still have not been delivered because they wanted to wait and deliver bed with correct nightstands ( if that is even a possibility)We have been waiting ever since and now are not even receiving any response.We were so foolish to give them more of our money !!RUN PEOPLE , RUN!!!

They don't stand by what they say and it's very disappointing and frustrating! Once they are done selling their furnitures, you are stuck with them and please don't buy any additional guardian protection plan as it's a bunch of b******* and they have all kinds of exclusions to not repair or replace anything as promised at the time of buying from this furniture stores. Cheap quality and poor workmanship where the couches, chairs seams separate by only gently using them and they do t fix every after buying the extended warranty for another $500.. what a rip off! Totally disappointed by their furnitures.

BASSETT DOES NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR WORKMANSHIP - Shoddy workmanship! There is a 2 inch difference from one side of the back cushion to the other. The cushions are sewn to the back of the couch so you cannot realign them. The upholstery seams on the arms are crooked. After monthly phone calls and emails for ONE YEAR they informed us they would not fix their bad workmanship, that it is within their tolerances. We ordered two couches, paid $10,000 and we're stuck with them. They wouldn't put these on the showroom floor. Customer service was horrible time after time they said a manager would call us or the service Dept would call us. It took a year for a manager to come to our home and look at them. BUYER BEWARE!!!
