I went to visit the Redmond location today and was very pleased with the whole experience.My advisor was named Komal and she was very informative, helpful, friendly. She was able to fix my previous tax issue and file this years taxes in a timely matterDefinitely going here next year to file again.Thank you for helping me!

Whatever you do, do not go here to file your taxes. Don't use H&R block in general if there is literally any other option that you have. I'm still waiting on a $4,877 refund (I filed in April, it is now December...)because my advisor, Nerissa, had to file an amended return because she messed up the original filing. She was confused on how to account for revenue that I earned from stocks that I sold. She asked another advisor for help and they were both arguing with each other (and I mean raising voices and basically yelling) because they couldn't agree on the correct way to account for these stock earnings. I ended up being there for almost 5 hours because of this. Additionally, my original appointment wasn't even with Nerissa. They passed me off to her because the person who I originally had an appointment with wasn't even close to being finished with the person who had an appointment before me. It took an hour of waiting before they finally just passed me off to Nerissa because my advisor still wasn't done. Now here I am several months later still waiting on my close to $5k refund that I still have not received. I called the IRS and they even admitted that the delay is primarily caused by having an amended return filed. Thanks Nerissa, and thank you H&R Block. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I called them multiple times related to an issue with their app as was trying to e sign tax returns. Each time I got a confirmation that I would receive a call back from the tax consultant who handled our case but never received a call. Highly unprofessional service despite I already paid them full in advance and now have to chase them to get my taxes filed as end date is quite near.

I had a terrible experience here. I worked with Nerissa and she was completely incompetent as a tax advisor. She did not seem to understand the difference between a distribution and a rollover. She had to look up how to enter forms in the return, and when she was unable to find answers, I had to look them up (and I was able to find answers relatively easily). I wanted to look over the return at home before approving it, and I found a reduction of over $1200 to my tax liability. When I asked her about it, she asked me to provide, and wanted to charge me more to enter, forms that did not exist.I asked Nerissa for a refund, and never got a response. I called the corporate customer service and spoke to Christina, who said she submitted my refund request to the district manager. When I never heard back, I spoke to Kathleen at escalations who said the request had not been submitted properly, but that now it had been. When I again never heard back, I spoke to Roger at customer service who told me he had gotten the refund approved while I was on hold with him, and that I could call the local office to process it. When I spoke to Ben at the local office they said they had no knowledge of any cases related to my account (even though I later found out the office had told escalations that they had sent the request to the district manager). In my latest conversation with Kayla at escalations, she assured me that now the district manager had been contacted.Once I reached out to my credit card company to dispute the charge, Lu Huang the district manager back to me quickly. He said that everything I have been told have to this point wasn't correct and that he was going to submit the refund for approval. He said I should hear back but I never did. When I contacted the office to get an itemized receipt for the charge dispute form, I ended up speaking with Narissa again. She said that she had submitted for the refund and that was approved and in process. She would not send me anything in writing, tell me when I should expect the refund, or hear back from her, but rather hung up on me. She did get back to me quickly, and did send an email confirming that she had put in for a refund. I still have not been given any timeline for it to process, but have been provided the itemized receipt.After a couple back and forth emails and a few weeks, I did finally get a reimbursement check.

I have used this office three times and have been disappointed with follow up and timely communication. I provided documents for my return over one month in advance two years in a row and my return was not ready for review in time to file. Both times, it was recommended to file an extension even though I requested a meeting to review well in advance of the deadline with no response and no outreach and my return had not even been started. Even called the 1-800 number and they said there is nothing they can do. The office does not answer the phone when you call and rolls to a 1-800 number who do answer but explain they don't know why the call is forwarded. This office must be working on something but sure seems easy to get lost with this organization and no way to escalate issues.
