What a wonderful experience!! Taylor (color) and Brandi (cut ) were lovely and fantastic. I could not have asked for nicer ladies or a more beautiful outcome. Both were more than adept at their craft and I wouldn't recommend anyone else in the area.

I’m giving 1-star ONLY because upper management took away the parafin wax for the manicures and pedicures and replaced it with these cold useless paper booties that do nothing, and who wants cold on their feet during a pedicure!!! And, I’ve sent numerous feedback messages to upper management on this, and nobody has tried to reach out. It’s amazing how poor the management is at this salon and how little they care about the customers.The nail artists are amazing!!!! So this review is only directed toward the very poor decision that upper management made to take away the most relaxing part of the pedicure and replace it with cold paper! Haha!If you are considering become a new client at Gene Juarez for your pedicure, go somewhere else, unless you want cold paper on your feet!To the upper management, if you even read these (because you haven’t responded to any of my feedback I’ve sent to you through your app), I would highly suggest you at least bring back the parafin wax as an **option**. If the customer wants it, let them have it! I’d even pay extra for the parafin wax as an add-on if that is what it came down to. These paper booties are useless trash! And cold on your feet does not promote good blood circulation, so you’ve replaced the parafin wax that promotes good blood circulation with something that is less healthy for our bodies, since good blood circulation promotes good health.I will change my review to 5-stars if management brings back the parafin wax.Services: Pedicure

Wow, wow, wow! Chloe is top notch! She did amazing highlights, was super gentle, and def a master with blondes! Super personable and just overall amazing from start to finish! Highly recommend! Don’t bother going to anyone else on the East side!! If you want quality hair, Chloe should be your go to!

This was my first time going to Gene Juarez and I’m hooked! I got to work with Kim and she did a jaw-dropping job with my hair (literally, when I looked at what she did with my layers my jaw dropped haha). She made me feel comfortable and heard and had some great advice and tips for my hair. Can’t wait to go back, thanks so much Kim! ❤️

This location continuously cancels appointments and offers no additional options. This is the 3rd time Berrnie, "the artist," as Gene Juarez called him, canceled four hours before our appointment that was booked six months ago. Gene Juarez makes their clients pay 50% of the haircut if canceled within 12 hours. Gene Juarez then needs to honor if their "artist" cancel on clients and provide a 50% discount on the next haircut. Highly reccomend finding other places than Gene Juarez for haircut.

My daughter had the 30 minute hydro facial last week, I had no clue it was over 200 bucks for 30 minutes or I wouldn’t have even scheduled. My mistake for not asking! My teen daughter has had some trouble areas and I was assured they would be taken care of. But her skin after 30 minutes was exactly the same.. the person who did the facial told me she was unable to extract a few blackheads .. I thought that was the point of the facial?! We had been in the day before and I was told a hydro facial was the way to go for teen skin/blackheads. My daughter was in tears. I was given a 42.00 discount but in my opinion this should have been 100 percent refunded. I won’t be returning to this place and neither will my daughter, not impressed.Service: Skin treatments

Always a wonderful experience. I love the luxury of a private room for the pedicure. I only trust Gene Juarez with a manicure or pedicure because of their commitment to cleanliness. I have full confidence the tools used on me are clean and safe. The manicurists are always very gentle with my nails which are thin and brittle. I have gone with friends who have had mani/pedis elsewhere and the experience does not compare.Services: Pedicure

Had a scheduled haircut. When I arrived, I was asked if anyone had called me to let me know that the person who was to cut my hair called in that day. My appt was at 3pm-inexcusable that nobody called me to cancel. Wasted trip and wasted relationship with the business. I will not be back.

Loved my hairstylist at their Bellevue location. She was friendly and an amazing stylist. Loved my gentle scalp massage. Warm and inviting atmosphere. Clean and good lighting. I missed their black robes and being asked whether I want coffee, tea or wine, then they serve it to you and the option of fresh cream for your coffee.

The most ridiculous service I've ever had.I scheduled a haircut in September in advance. On my day of service I got an SMS that my stylist is out and I have to reschedule.In November I schedule a haircut with another stylist. And guess what? On a day of my appointment I got an SMS that my other stylist is out and I need to reschedule!What a joke!When you can't make it, they charge you.When they can't make it, they behave like nothing's happened.Service: Haircut

Going to this salon for years in Lynnwood. Went today to get my hair done. Jessica and Kia did awesome job. I have long hair and I like a lot of layer on my hair. I explained to her I'm not person like to spend a lot of time in bathroom doing hair, I want my hair look nice after I wash. Kia understand and cut my hair exactly what I want. If you picky person like me and have stubborn gray hair you want to see with someone has experience. It's pricey but you get what you pay. The salon don't do blow drying and I'm fine with that. They clean the work area after with each client. The workers wear mask, they require all client wear mask and if you don't have one they will give you mask, they clean the chair after done washing your hair, they distancing / skip every table and chairs, they sanitize all the tools they use for hair, they provide you plastic bags to put your belongings. I went in for a curtain bangs trim and Bernie gave me blunt bangs instead. I even showed him a picture and he took 2 inches of hair off my bangs. I told him that’s what I asked for and he said “sorry, I can’t make your hair grow back.” Wow, I will never ever go to Gene Juarez salon again. There was no manager on site and the front desk was so unhelpful and dismissive. Bernie, you should not be cutting hair or work at any customer facing services. What a terrible salon.Service: Haircut
