Tried making an appointment as it is close to my house, one time she was closed because was going to a wedding, then made another appt and she cancelled the day of via text, Waited a few weeks for a trim, but couldn't even get "Just a Trim" - Pun intended. I guess some businesses don't need new business that they can push off customers based on their personal schedules. Waste of time

Just a trim has a nice atmosphere and good customer service. They were able to get me in for a same day appointment within the half hour. Kathy trimmed my hair and did a great job. It’s safe to say I’ll be returning to Just a trim.

I am mortified by my haircut! Customer service was not welcoming but I gave it a chance. I explained what I wanted with pictures. After she cut my hair I was never asked if I liked the length or if I wanted more cut. I never got me my layers like I thought she did and my curtain bangs are embarrassing. They looked pretty good when still wet and styled but by the time I got home I realized they weren’t curtain bangs, there was no swoop to them. It all one length pushed to the side. Then to top it off my hair was uneven. It’s awful and I was charged $5 more dollars then the online price. I would not go here again.Service: Haircut

I was very pleased with the short haircut I received from Kathi several weeks ago. I will definitely be returning! In addition, I find it very admirable that she cares for injured animals or baby rabbits, possums, and squirrels that have lost their mothers. She has been licensed to care for these animals and has also obtained a tax exempt 501 status for people interested in donating money to help her care for these helpless animals. I'm lucky I was able to find her one Sunday morning to drop off a tiny baby rabbit a crow was trying to kill. I think you are awesome Kathi! Dr. Susan

She was nice but when I went home I realized that my hair cut was very choppy and uneven. I guess I should have checked it before I left, but I wasn't expecting it to be this bad.

Hi Kathi,As I had mentioned before, I loved the way you cut my hair twice, however my daughter's first experience turned out to be a totally different story. Although I took some time to reflect since yesterday, I still don't think it was fair to charge 80 dollars for bleaching my 12 years old daughter's just 2 strands of hair at the front. You said the bleaching material was expensive but by looking at the prices in the market, I would not agree with that comment. On top, she was extremely upset that there was a strange line where the bleached baby hair met the unbleached baby hair. And she was right to be upset. I guess you were not supposed to bleach the baby hair and her front head, but just the normal hair. I had to go to Target to buy dye to recolor her bleached hair to get rid of that line as it looked really strange. So all the money was wasted for nothing and on top she was not happy at all.I am also trying to think positively saying that we contributed to your budget for taking care of baby squirrels who lost their moms, but still I can't help feeling bad about the experience. I would come again to have haircuts in the future if you would accept me after this review. I hope you would.On a separate note to the readers, I saw those haircut pictures posted by some teenage girls on Yelp about Kathi and I am 99% sure they are fake reviews. There is no way Kathi would do such a horrible haircut. She is great at cutting.

We are a family who has a tight budget because we are trying to relocate to the USA, as I had mentioned to you too, and I cut on other expenditures to spend for my daughter so that she does not feel somethings are lacking. 80 dollars was way too much than what I had prepared to pay. I asked couple of people and they thought the same.I am also trying to think positively saying that we contributed to your budget for taking care of baby squirrels which lost their moms, but still I can't help feeling bad about the experience. I would come again to have haircuts in the future probably every 4-5 months as that is how much I could afford but I thought I should share my feelings. I would prefer to write a direct email to you but there is no email address on your website and I didn't have the courage to call you. I am not good at talking these things face to face, especially with my broken English and with pretty extrovert people. I hope that is understandable.
