Worst service!! Today we came in and ordered at 1:10pm. After waiting for 40 minutes, still no food and no one came to say anything. When we asked them, one waitress told us it will be ready soon and another told us we haven’t ordered anything. Left with anger and will NEVER come back!

I ate the Hainan Chicken Rice. Totally doesn’t worth it. It doesn’t taste good and they are all chicken with bones. Very few

We have been a big fan of Malay Satay Hut for over two decades . We used to frequent their restaurant in Seattle but now drive the extra miles to Redmond to enjoy their delicious food. Our kids love the food too and we are never disappointed in the service or the meals. We have even celebrated two milestone birthdays with them, where they provided catering and all our guests thoroughly enjoyed the food. Highly recommend!

Please stay away and save your money for businesses that are more honest, respect their customers, and have actual standards!Inedible food that reeked and was likely sitting in the back for days without use.Brought it up to the service staff and they proceeded to ignore my concern and do nothing about it. I wasn't looking for a refund, but they didn't even acknowledge my problem, apologize, nor do anything to remediate the situation. Instead they gaslit me about how it's supposed to be like that without even taking a look for themselves. It's appalling how the customer is always wrong! (I don't mind being incorrect, but they immediately wanted to fight! lol)

Good service, but mediocre food. The roti canai was the only good dish I had.

Small portion sizes, not much flavor, and eggshell.Ordered takeout on Uber eats. I don't know whether its on the restaurant or on Uber eats, but none of the dishes came with rice. Were they supposed to come with rice? Who knows. I would expect so given the prices I paid, but I guess it didn't explicitly say it would so sure that's on me. In that case, the main dishes are just overpriced. The Singapore rice noodles were fairly under flavored. I picked the extra spicy option, and I'm not sure what that means at this restaurant but it sure as hell wasn't spicy. Seemed like a watered down version of every Singapore Fried noodles I've had literally anywhere else. Also, those Singapore rice noodles? Came with a nice serving of eggshell. Not even like small pieces that you could possibly accidentally miss. Really just not a great look. Finally, the roti canai came looking depressed and the potato sauce bit was the tiniest possible serving they could've given us. There might have been a single piece of potato in there. We also ordered hot and spicy chicken with cashew, ma po chili tofu, fried veggie rolls, and chicken satay. Nothing came with rice (which I would've expected with the entrees), literally everything was under flavored, and the chicken satay had very sad half skewers (as in the skewers were less than half full of meat and small to begin with). In general, just not great. Definitely not coming back again.

Disappointing, it’s no longer what it used to be. The foods were bland and no longer authentic.

The menu has a huge array of options. If you like Chinese food, then you will really like Malaysian food. Try the black pepper chicken, with fair warning it is spicy. In the best kind of way.

Indian bread with curry dip you wish was bottomless. I love the mango chicken. I have never ordered anything on the menu that I did not like.

We were at Malay Satay Hut more than 20 years ago when they were in Seattle's I district and they were good. We returned tonight to their location in Redmond were they moved 22 years ago. They were even better. We had an excellent dinner. We had alive Singapore chili crab which was a holiday special, Penang chow kwey, teow, kang Kong vegetable, and roti. It was wonderful. The servers were quick and helpful and paced the dishes well. Portions were large and flavorful. The restaurant was comfortable and moderately busy but we had nice space. We will certainly return. They are closed on Tuesday's.
