My child used to go to this center until a few weeks ago, when my wife and I decided it was enough. We were fooled by the principal. Our main concern was the food. She claimed they prepared organic and fresh food every day. Sufficient in quality and quantity to feed the kids under a balanced diet. Judge by yourself. They offer a 'breakfast' in the morning. Now you tell me if you feel it's sufficient in nutrients: it's usually half a glass of the cheapest milk and cereal they could buy. That's it! Some days they add a piece of veggie of fruit. In all these months there were few exceptions to that rule. When we noticed this pattern, we started paying closer attention to the menu, and actually kept track of every single meal they offered during the day. Trust me, your kid will be poorly fed if going to this center, which in the long run impacts their health and development. And this was also fact-checked with two pediatricians that we have asked to review the menu of this center. The cook's work in this center is quick and easy: they consistently prepare unperishable food, mostly canned, that they only need to warm before serving it to the kids. The lack of animal protein is the most evident, but the variety is also poor. They treat all kids like vegans, with few exceptions when they serve a small portion of chicken meat or canned tuna. The most common lunch goes like this: mac and cheese, steamed beans/peas/carrots or similar veggie, milk and a piece of fruit. That's supposed to be the main meal of the day! The afternoon snacks are usually like this: a glass of water, a little hummus, and a few baby carrots. Less commonly, they add a few crackers, or they just repeat the milk and cereal from the breakfast. We don't have much complains about the teachers, although in a couple of occasions I caught them yelling at the kids for simple things. They are kids after all, they won't stand still all day. We also noticed that the teachers do very few activities with the kids throughout the day. In the app they will send you pictures of your child almost daily, doing some activity. But they only take pictures during those few minutes of improvised activities, so that you get impressed by how much they are learning. In reality, most of the day the kids are just bored, playing by themselves with the same toys. The teacher most of the time just keep an eye on them to avoid they get injured. We thought this was just how childcare centers work. But now that we changed our child to another center, it's a huge difference: the food in the new center is freshly cooked the same day, with a much better variety and quality. We also feel that the teachers have a clear plan of what they will teach each week, and keep the parents posted on the progress of their child in a more personalized manner. Not just a generic 'he/she is doing good' feedback that we used to get in the previous center. We don't miss anything about the Overlake Kindercare.

I am impressed with their ability to foster an inclusive community, with staff looking to understand and support different family dynamics for the benefit of the children.

We had a wonderful experience at this center. There were some staff changes while we were there (i.e. the Center Director changed from Ms Marzieh to Ms Luisa) and we continued to feel welcomed, valued, and efficiently helped as needed. All the teachers we encountered were loving and engaged with our little guy- we have bumped into 2 different teachers outside of school and the encounters were so sweet that our little guy still talks about them as life highlights. Things I noted about the daycare itself: we received lots of pictures of our child throughout the day. The names of teachers and their classes is posted on the wall so it was easy to learn the names of all the teachers our child encountered through the day. The center is kept very clean. There were a good variety of meals (always with fruits and veggies) served in a way that had our child eating a balanced diet at school (even though he is a whimsical toddler). There are lots of high-quality toys in all the classrooms and outside in the play areas (i.e. the set of magnatiles in a class has enough for 10 children to be building at once). The outside play areas are great- lots of cars and bikes, etc, and a track to drive them on. It seems like this center has a definite focus on literacy- routine times for reading and looking at books, a consistent practice of learning letters and writing. An optional activity during the summer was kids yoga outside, which seemed awesome. We're grateful to all the teachers and staff for making our time here really great.

I had a tour with this daycare and experienced the worst daycare ever! I got discrimination from the director and there’s no respect!! The director doesn’t allow me to meet/see the class teacher or see the classroom. She asked me to book another tour after two weeks since she’s leaving this daycare. It’s totally a waste of time for touring this daycare! I clearly mentioned my expectation on the phone before booking this tour. But apparently, it got ignored. If the director treats you the worst, how could it be better for your kids? So I don’t recommend to send children to this daycare, not even worth a tour. You’ll get the least information during the tour compared to other daycare. Worst experience ever!!!

Our experience with this daycare has been truly wonderful over the years. Our first child was enrolled from 2015 to 2018, and our second child from 2021 to 2024. Throughout both tenures, we have been consistently impressed by the exceptional quality of the caring, nurturing environment provided by the daycare and staff and food provided is good.
Marziah, the director has been exemplary in her role. She is always responsive and proactive, addressing any issues with great efficiency and ensuring that both of our children receive the support they need. Her availability and willingness to assist have been greatly appreciated.
We are particularly grateful to Miss Ayesha, who taught both of our children phonics and math. Her dedication is remarkable; she provides individualized attention to each child and tailors the curriculum to meet their specific needs, fostering a love for learning.
Additionally, we have been delighted with the contributions of other staff members, including Miss Debbie, Miss Jenny, Miss Divya, Miss Louris, Miss Devika, and Miss Poonam, Mr Alireza among others. Their commitment and professionalism have significantly enhanced our experience.
In summary, we highly recommend this daycare to any parent seeking a high-quality, nurturing environment for their children. Our seven-year experience has been overwhelmingly positive, and we have encountered no issues during this time.

Great care at Overlake Kindercare. We were specially super happy this our son’s teacher Mrs. Sunitha and the director Mrs. Lorelei. Thank you.Transitioning a child to daycare can be a hard thing, there were some staff who weren’t as understanding in listening to the parents’ anxiety. But the above two people were really good at giving confidence to the parents and likewise showed the same warm attitude towards the children. We will miss them. Overall it will be great once child gets used to the daycare. I urge to make the initial days as smooth as possible for a child who is new to the daycare.

Our 2 daughters went here for over 4 years and had a great time . They learnt, played and had a great experience. Most of the teachers are loving and genuinely care for the children. The fees are relatively reasonable for the area. The director and their assistants are super friendly. They also have additional classes like phonics and math (that you have to pay extra for), but helpful. My younger one is finding kindergarten super easy as she already knows most stuff - learnt from Kindercare. The center May not look modern , but that's why the fees are reasonable :) I highly recommend this center. In fact recently I was thinking of going visiting the teachers just like that - that's how much of a bond we all have made .

This place is absolutely amazing! We needed care for our LO for a week since his regular daycare was on a break. Every teacher, every staff member is so kind, caring, friendly and understanding. The director Ms.Marzieh is super helpful and caring. She personally checked on my son whenever I called her to check how he was doing. On top of wonderful people, the activities are so good for him! They've handled the Covid-19 crisis very well and we feel very comfortable with the extra measures they take to make sure everyone stays healthy. Definitely recommend!!!

My son has been going to Overlake Kindercare since he was 2 years and he enjoys going to this day care every day. Miss. Marzieh ( center director) is very professional and always open to address any issue for parents. She is one of the main reasons why I trust this place and send my son here for the last 3 years. Now coming over to the teachers, there are some really good teachers who handle the kids well. My son started off in the toddler section and his favorite teachers were Ms. Lulu, Ms. Chenna can just not be forgotten in our lives.I should mention that every teacher here is definitely good in different aspects.Thank you Kinder care for the wonderful journey and my son would definitely miss meeting his friends and teachers as he graduates to go to kinder garden this year.

Our kid when initially joined used to cry and feel shy about going to school. But the school management and teachers are so good with in a week time my kid started liking to go to day care. This is really game changer for us and we are very happy with the school and teachers.

I cannot express how this daycare has been the whole world for my son who is now graduating to Kindergarten. When I first met the center director Ms. Marzieh Mesferoosh, I could instantly relate to how she impeccably connects with the little world. And this was exactly what I was looking for - development of the child as a whole and not just academic skills.Ms. Marzieh and her staff were approachable to any concerns we made and tried their best to resolve them. Shout out to all the excellent staff, support staff and the cook! The center is NAEYC accredited and they have enrichment programs too.

I would not recommend this place. Our son was at this location for few months, and i'm so happy we took a decision to move him out early. Every day we use to pick him up it was clear he wasn't happy there. We thought this is a change lets give it sometime. Even after few months no change, that triggered us to move him out. Now after more than an year (at in home daycare) we now have a new school he goes to. The difference is clear. The teachers are caring, they genuinely take care of kids. The activities are engaging and kids learn. Unlike at Kindercare where only one teacher was good (i wish i remember her name). Everyone else were there to earn money. IMO what makes a good place for kids is a place with caregivers who genuinely care, not how big the facility is, not how many different things kids learn, its just about the right staff. And this location certainly lacks that for infants atleast.
