I attended Pride Over The Bridge and had my haircut at their tent by Shy this weekend. I had something minor done, but it was huge to me. I haven’t been able to feel comfortable sitting at the mirror for a haircut in ages and I honestly hadn’t even planned to sign up but I’m glad I did. Thank you to everyone at Rudy’s for offering your services to the community this weekend, my haircut was a highlight.

Amanda is so kind and did an excellent job for us! My daughter scheduled her first appointment at Rudy's with Amanda and I went with her since it was her first visit. We were greeted right away and only had to wait a few minutes even though were were a bit early. Amanda happened to have availability right after my daughter's appointment so I stayed and got my hair cut too. Amanda listened to what we were hoping to have done and gave recommendations for what would work well for our hair. Overall great experience and I would highly recommend this shop and specifically Amanda!

I’ve followed Katelynn across three Rudy’s locations for a reason. She knows her craft, she’s genuine, and she never misses. If you book with her, you’ll see why I never go anywhere else

I've been living in the US for 5 years, but this was my first-ever haircut here. Amanda was gentle with my long, frizzy hair throughout the wash, cut, and blow-dry. She confirmed the length I wanted and was genuinely happy to shorten it further when I asked. She's very friendly, and I love how my haircut turned out!

DO NOT GO AT ALL COSTS. Today I received the worst haircut of my entire life. It is so bad that I’m going to have to go home and buzz my hair. I went in with medium long hair, and asked for a short summer haircut. The barber who cut my hair was an older woman of Asian descent, with colorful dyed hair. Then within minutes she hacked my hair to the point of no return. Completely buzzing one side of my head while leaving the other side long. At the end she asked me what I thought, and I said it was the worst haircut I’ve ever had at the front till. Then this blonde girl who I’m pretty sure is named Lana came rushing up and told me to leave because I was being “rude”. Do not go to this place if you like having hair. What an awful place.

My hair dresser very kindly explained what a neck trim I was asking for what entail. Unfortunately, for $26, I only got half of the service. I got the hair cleaned up around the neckline, but no trimming around the ears nor a hot towel as described on their website. Don’t think it was worth $26.

I've had zero hair issues ever since Shy became my go-to barber. Her work is absolutely impeccable and my friends and family are always in awe of how good I look after she's done with me. I can't recommend her enough to anyone who's looking for quality and consistency. Thanks Shy!

My first time to get a hair cut at this location. Got haircut by Hana and I really love it. She is really nice and finished it in 30 minutes.
The only complaint and minus one star is the lady at the front to get a payment, she should mention that they have a fee of $1.50 for paying by credit card but not debit card.
Just be aware of when you are paying .

Edited to add: Updated to reflect that Sage (barber) and Alyssa (manager) reached out to make things right, which I really appreciate! ------ Rated a 1 for customer service - I booked TWO days in advance, and I have been anxious about getting a haircut so I specifically requested a barber because I wanted an undercut. They booked someone over me without notifying me beforehand, so I spent 30+ minutes out of my day for nothing. Really freaking disappointing and I hope the operational folks improve that process because it sucks (especially coming from someone with SEVERE social anxiety who had to use up a bunch of spoons to gather the courage to make an appointment in the first place). Feels really disrespectful to my time, also given that I don't have much of it and had to coordinate several things just to make it out to (attempt to) get my hair cut.

ETA - To the response; I never said it was a great haircut. And it was your shops fault (Emma) for the tip issue and for changing the stylist, NOT the call center.
* Truly just a disappointing experience with Rudys as a whole right now. The hair cut was good BUT .. I called three days prior, made the appointment as a gift, spoke with the call center, made sure everything was going to be taken care of as this was for my mother and I am not in the state. The girl in the call center was nice, listened to all my stuff, and put the appointment in, and I gave my card number for the deposit. She told me it would be with Hana and she assured me she was great at short cuts. Called an hour later, spoke with the same girl, since I made the appointment for the wrong day, got it pushed out. Okay, done, great. Same time, same person, different day, great. Yesterday, I called again trying to talk to the shop directly, the call center tried twice, the shop never picked up. Today I called, was again sent through the call center twice; second time the shop answered. I spoke to Emma, I told her my mother was coming in, I wanted to make sure everything was set so she didn't have to stress about anything. I asked when they ran my card to put a $20 tip on it. Again, a $20 tip for the haircut, I never bothered to ask about the hair cut price since I didn't care. Emma said they don't run the card until the cut is done; that's fine, just add the $20 tip. I tell my mother it's all taken care of, including the tip, so she didn't have to deal with it. I spoke with Emma at 11am; my mother's appointment was at 1pm. So my mother goes. She writes me after. The appointment was not with Hana, it was with Iza (?). She said the cut was good, but she said there wasn't a tip left so she put $5 on my card. I immediately call the center again and they transfer me to the store. Emma answers. I tell her first that the appointment was with someone else than who it was supposed to be, she tells me she came in this morning and that was already the name on the books. She told my mother that SHE changed the name. Two stories. Okay. Then I ask about the tip, and Emma says, well there wasn't a tip. I said I called earlier, and she says , Yea I spoke with you but lots of people call. I was floored, I said you didn't make a note? Emma says oh we don't do notes. Okay, well now I'm beyond annoyed about the whole process and the back and forth. She says well we can comp your next haircut. I told her that wasn't the point, I wanted a stressless haircut for my mother who's going into surgery tomorrow, and they changed the stylist, and they didn't have the tip even though it was Emma I spoke to. And then I asked, where's the note going to go for the comp haircut? She started stuttering. Come on guys. I work in customer service. Write down a note; I was trying to give you more money. Absolutely ridiculous. And to top it all off, my mother used to go to the original Cap Hill location when it opened, she's gone to the one in Bellevue. This was a disaster. And sure, she might be okay with the haircut, but that's not who was supposed to do it that I made sure was going to be great.

Got assigned a hairstylist named Shy.
She seemed uninterested in doing her job, no hi, no hello, no smile.
Lacked basic attention to detail and to top it off Rudy’s charged a whopping 60$.
The entire haircut including shampoo was over in 9 minutes, so you can only imagine the level of service received.
Overall huge disappointment and probably have to visit another hair salon to fix the sloppy work.
Won’t recommend to others.

Loved my experience here; felt very comfortable in the space and with my stylist. Highly recommend them (Sage) for any queers looking for a short haircut— my edges are looking much sharper, and my gender is feeling very affirmed by the trim they gave me. Bonus— they were kind, trauma-informed and made me laugh.
Requested style: Taper fade, faux-hawk kinda, trimming up of my buzz cut, which had been growing shaggy
Specialties: Barber; short hair; queer; gender affirming; trans; nonbinary; enby; LGBTQ+
Hair type: Short, curly when longer
Stylist: Sage was incredible! Highly recommend- will work with you to make sure you’re feeling safe and comfortable as well as getting the cut you want!
