What to do on a blustery spring Saturday? Well, you load up the Scouser neighbors, and you head to the British Pantry! We had a great time! It's a challenge for a WA State Hall of Fame Chef to find a place with food worth bragging about, and this is one, as the food seemed to ferry him cross the mersey. The service was attentive, and the tea was bottomless. In spite of being located in downtown Redmond, the parking was easy. After eating, of course it comes the shopping at the Pantry for baked and boxed goods of all sorts. You will enjoy this stop for sure!

A wonderful little shop that specializes in British and some European fare and homemade food, including sausage rolls and steak and kidney pies. An institution in downtown Redmond. We go there for the European chocolates and candy!

I was surprised that the shelves were half full or half empty, depending on your perspective. And more than half of the imported food was candy. Few choices for marmalade but loads of marmite and vegemite, as expected. The pastries were great once we got them home. I will go back, but after hearing about it for so many years, I thought it would be better. Kinda disappointing.

I ordered afternoon tea that day. It was rich and delicious. The atmosphere in the store was very good and the dining process was enjoyable.

I am extremely disappointed and disgusted by the blatant racism that I experienced at this restaurant. Despite going twice with different Caucasian friends, I was consistently treated as less than human by the staff. On Sunday mornings, the waitress would greet my friend by name with a smile, while completely ignoring me and looking at me in disgust. Not only was my name deliberately mispronounced, but I was made to feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. This kind of behavior only serves to perpetuate racism and division in our society. I will not be returning to this establishment and I urge others to think twice before supporting a business that treats people of color in such a dehumanizing manner.

Our server was awesome. Food was delicious. I love the attached store with a wide selection of merchandise from across the pond.Kid-friendliness: Our 3 and 7 year old did great here. There is no kids menu, but there are some decent menu items that kids might like. Our server was really patient with the kids and we would happily come back knowing they would be well taken care of

Service is sub par, 10 minutes without being acknowledged and didn't refill my coffee at all during my meal. My sausage was pink and undercooked on the inside and burnt on the outside and very mushy and bland. Very subpar food and service. Won't be back.

Charming place! Good food. Great “authentic” (having never actually been to the UK I can neither confirm nor deny) teas, snacks, and such in the store.
