Worst experience. I tried to DEPOSIT my mothers check in her account and they said I couldn't because she he'd to be there. The older Caucasian woman was not friendly and did not bother to check that it was a joint account . I've never had problems before and she brought the supervisor and humiliated me in front of other guests and told me they would NOT DEPOSIT her check. I went to US Bank, and other banks and they have never heard of that policy . Don't have anything to say . Worst experience at a bank . She sarcastically told me to have a Merry Christmas ... as I left ... in her passive aggressive attitude. Honestly, I felt discriminated against ... because I'm not Caucasian... I haven't felt this way since I was a teenager growing up in this country .I wasn't aware that making a deposit required the actual person to be there ... again ... it was a DEPOSIT!!! I Wanted to Deposit my mothers money into her account ...

Don't waste your time, go to a Credit Union or literally any other bank! Wells Fargo has a sketchy past, and does NOT look after their account holders. Want fraud, frozen accounts? Use Wells Fargo!

Really consider whether you want to go with Wells Fargo because they have shortened their business hours. They had decreased before the corona virus and now they are even more limited. If you get a lockbox with them you can only access it right now with a private banker appointment and you can only do a transaction by going through drive through which takes a long time due to the number of people. There is a person who stands at the front and doesn't let you in and you have to make a banker appointment but she doesn't say how to get one of those. I understand requiring a mask and limiting possibly how many at a time and social distancing but they have determined to remain in a shut down mode. If they want to be this stringent on access I wish they would send their customers an email with a link so that we could online schedule easily at a minimum. No one wants to have to go to the bank but if you do you should be able to get assistance during business hours.
