Studio closed at class time-I purchased a drop in pass for an evening barre class but the studio was closed (lights out/clearly nobody in the building) at the time of the class and unresponsive to calls or email. It took a full 24hr to receive a text response and they only stated that they are not permanently closed. No apologies. explanation or information about how I can use the pass for another class or be refunded. I have requested a refund both via text and email and had no response.

Loved the hot yoga class I attended there for more than 6 months. My schedule changed so I needed to cancel my pass. IMPOSSIBLE to get in contact with anyone. Texted (like the website suggests and promises a fast response 24/7) and left vms. Nothing. For weeks I’ve been trying to contact them. Multiple multiple attempts. So heads up to anyone else.Update: after leaving this review the owner immediately contacted me and everything was cleared up. I really appreciated it and I stand by my first sentence. Loved the hot yoga class and instructor. Hopefully my schedule clears up so I can return. It was a highlight to my week. I know the employees truly care about their participants

I really like this studio. It's small and intimate and has a great community. Lots of times and variations for classes which gives me flexibility in scheduling. The instructors are all wonderful too.

I truly enjoyed the studio and the classes for half a year. But when I need to cancel my membership, the studio was not responsive at all. I don't even know who is the manager or the account manager of the studio. I tried emailing and texting to get my membership cancelled since June, using the contact information on Google but I did not get any response. After that, I went to a class and talked to my instructor, Katey and she advised me to text the number on the sign outside the studio that was there to attract new members. It was the same number that I tried to contact since June. I tried texting one more time but again no replies. I am sure this is the right number since it's the number they provide to new members. It was really frustrated, 3 month laters and I still have to pay the monthly free. I don't even know what to do know now. I no longer live in the area. Just hope this review is helpful to anyone considering signing up with the studio.

Bad, very unprofessional. I was trying to contact their office but it goes straight to voicemail. Left few text messages to schedule my session but no reply from them at all. They took my voucher code from Groupon and I didn't even have the chance to come to their studio! Don't purchase at all!

I went to a Hatha class and it followed a modified / compressed Bikram routine. The thermostat showed 103 and felt hotter with the humidity. The studio’s only bathroom is accessed thru the yoga studio. I did not have the heart (grit?) to go back in to change so had a sweaty ride back home. Prepare accordingly. Otherwise I thought it was a solid practice and deserved full marks.

I had a very unpleasant experience with the manager of the studio, Angela. I wasn’t given any grace when I asked to cancel my membership due to health related issues. I can practice just not in a 106 degree room anymore. There were a couple of things that made me feel like I wasn’t welcome there as well. My first two weeks attending classes, not a single instructor asked if I was enjoying classes or if they can assist me with a membership so that I could continue to practice there after my two week “trial”.None of the instructors ever asked if it was okay to touch or give me recommendations during the class. I like flow and rhythm and I enjoy learning variations especially when I’m paying to practice. I listen to my body. I am open to feedback especially if I’m being unsafe to my body.A safe, thoughtful, and peaceful energy is important to me; even if I was cleared to enjoy hot yoga again, this studio (though close to my house) would not be a place I would want to pay to practice.* fact * the only way to reach said Studio Manager, is by TEXT. She will not give you an email or telephone number, and that number you text, should you prefer to speak to her, you could not; your phone call would be directed to the studio.

Always delightfully soothing. Each instructor places emphasis on creating a warm, nurturing, and healing environment. Supportive and free from that competitive or "only one right way" thing other places I've been to over the years have had.You should do it. You will be welcomed with good energy.

One of the workers for the company/contractor cursed at my mother in law and said he could park on her property saying he is an emergency vehicle/police. It was an HVAC truck. Their customers and employees park on our drive way all the time and try to intimidate my mother in law. I’m sure this review will get reported or blocked as did my google review because it’s easier to his the issue then try to make a change. Also yes this happens at least once a month.

There are ZERO masks. ZERO COVID protocols. It sounds like they used to, what changed?! Jana is no longer the owner, is that why? What an irresponsible, deadly way to run a business during a time like this! The pandemic is literally the worst it’s ever been and this tiny yoga studio is packing people in like sardines with NO MASKS. I will never support this business.

It's a tiny studio and they pack people in like sardines with zero masks. It's COVID central! Absolutely crazy they think this is an acceptable or responsible way to run a business when hospitals are overflowing. Wearing a mask is not difficult. I was literally the only person wearing one. No one cares about keeping the community safe here. I won't be back.

Amazing barre class at Balance! The staff was so friendly and welcoming. Great class that worked muscles I didn't even know I had.
