The vet and his assistant were very kind when we had to have our elderly cat put down. They even gave us this sweet momento.

They are always so friendly and helpful! I would recommend this location to anyone in the nearby Renton area.

My dog got surgery on her eye on Friday & she hasn’t acting like herself so i kept taking her back to Banfield due to the way she was breathing Dr. Hanes lied saying he checked her breathing and everything & he didn’t. My baby had pneumonia the whole time, when i rushed her to the ER (that wasn’t Banfield) due to her having blood come out her nose & unable to walk, most likely she swallowed her vomit while she was under anesthesia and they didn’t do anything about it & that Dr. Hanes would’ve been able to see she had pneumonia if he checked her when I brought her back the next day when I was concerned. Not only did they kill her, she was originally my brother’s dog which he got killed 3 months ago which makes it even harder for me. When i went to Banfield after her passing all her medical records don’t even show I brought her down there for her breathing, it says because of her eye?? Incorrect. Please do not take your baby’s here!!

Even when they KNOW your dog has seizures they will not take care of them properly as they should. Also have Rude front desk attendants that talk back. If i can give you guys a negative zero i would.

We found Dr Hains here and his crew are so nice and thorough with the diagnosis, evaluation and treatment. We are so happy for the progress made in treating our dog mysterious hair loss. Looking forward for the recovery of my dog soon!

Dr Welker and Lacey Rose are amazing! But front desk reception needs work. Communication between dr and reception is not that great and one of the front desk agents whom I see often comes off pretty rude. Like he hates his job lol. He told me they’d call me to schedule an echocardiogram, and NEVER called me. There were many times the vet would tell me one thing and then reception would say something different. So when I went back in to see the vet, they made a note to reception to make sure that I would receive a call back. I was told they are extremely understaffed some days and there has been times when I was waiting at the front for 15+ minutes with nobody at front desk. It is frustrating but I feel bad when they only have one person at reception.

The staff is always a pleasure to work with and I truly love and appreciate the amount of time the vets will spend explaining the situation both on the phone and in person. Thank you!

Dr. Hank was the absolute best as well as the other staff. It was time to put our family dog down as things weren't looking so well for her. They allowed us all the time that we needed and were very sweet and gentle with our baby. I mentioned how she was the last few hours I had her with some hope just maybe she would be okay but they ran out the things they were able to do for her and compared it with the quality of life for her if we did those options. It was realistic and logical and made making the decision a lot easier as we only wanted her to not be in any pain anymore. Thank you to Dr. Hank and staff for being so compassionate and caring for our Cocoa all of these years that we've been coming to see you guys.

Had an appointment with Dr. Haines for my lethargic cat. He said he was fine and sent me on my way. Felt weird so went to another vet for a second opinion. They decided to run blood work because my cat seemed really out of it. Turns out he had renal failure.

The staff was very friendly and got me in to discuss a hard topic. They were honest and got my prescription for my dog ordered right away.

DO NOT BUY THE WELLNESS PLAN. It’s a scam and you will be unable to cancel it. This should be illegal. They also have very sub par veterinarians present at all locations. Your family member deserves better than this bodega.

I have brought my English Bulldog, Sherman, to the Renton Landing Banifield since the day I got him, which was 13 and a half years ago. With Sherman's allergies, we have been frequent fliers over the years. The doctors and staff are friendly and compassionate. Dr. Aber has been amazing over the years! It was recently time to send Sherman off to doggie heaven, which is one of the hardest things I have had to do. The whole entire staff was so compassionate and caring. They truly love their fury patients!!!

I rarely post but this is important information:The Banfield staff has always been exceptional. If I could I’d give them five stars!!!The Banfield Wellness Plan feels unethical and completely takes advantage of families when they lose their pets.Let me explain:When we were considering the Banfield Wellness Plan we asked the staff person at Banfield Renton “What happens with the Wellness Plan when our dog dies!” The response: “You’d be able to cancel it immediately.”Sadly, our pet died last week. We called Banfield Wellness to let them know and cancel the plan. We were surprised to learn we need to pay till the end of the contract year. We spoke with the manager who told us the same.Whether or not this is in the contract, I still believe this policy lacks integrity. When you total a car do you still pay to insure your car?Because of this when we get a new pet we will not go to Banfield.Banfield -Shame on you!

They always take care of my beloved pets!! But .. communication between the doc and the front desk staff could use some work.
