Great staff! They always respond to phone calls and are very helpful. I'm new to this location and love it!

Literally the worst pharmacy I have ever used. For prescriptions with refills, they consistently wait until the very last day to refill a prescription. You cannot even trust when you use the automated phone refill system when it tells you that it will be ready later that day, because a week later when you call and talk to someone in the pharmacy, you could find out that the refill is still processing. I would never recommend this pharmacy to anyone. Additionally, they still shutdown during lunchtime, so make sure you plan around THEIR schedule, regardless if it is inconvenient for you. I understood shutting down for their lunch during covid when they were short staffed, but now post-pandemic and with a full staff, there is no reason for this any longer. Lastly, the pharmacy phone line frequently stops working. Meaning you can try calling them, but you won't be able to get through. I've experienced this a few times in the past about year with this store. I've had to drive in and talk to them in-person. One time, they didn't even realize that their phones were down. Another time, their phone outage lasted about 3 days. Regarding other aspects of the store, expect to see empty shelves for products in the area of the pharmacy. Cough drops? good luck! First aid products? Good luck, etc... But they somehow manage to keep their shelves full stocked of vitamins. Of all the Bartell's that recently shutdown, I'm not sure how this one managed to stay open. If the ones that did close were worse, this would explain why the company as a whole with Rite Aid, are in such a bad state.

Update: Dan the pharmacy manager contacted me and said he was going to discuss with his staff. I appreciate the contact and he confirmed it should have been honored. Hopefully this leads to changes.Avoid this pharmacy if at all possible, especially for vaccines! We booked online for our family, and scheduled different days. When the pharmacy tech saw my kids, he said to his co-worker, "good luck". When they discovered it was just me, they seemed relieved. I informed the pharmacy tech I would be back on Friday with my kids. Lo and behold, Friday arrives and somehow my kids appointments disappeared from the system. Whether it was a software issue or not, the staff was not accommodating and refused to allow for the appointments. For my husband and myself, we waited over 30 minutes despite having appointments, and them claiming they were "booked" with appointments, even though we never saw anyone else arrive. It's clear they're not comfortable with pediatric patients, and do not care about customer service. Even the customer service rep for Bartells was completely unhelpful, saying there was nothing he could do, and that their appointments were rescheduled for June 2022, almost 2 years in the past!! Go to any other place, there is a reason this place has a low rating.

Was on hold for 1.5 hours, just to see what refill was ready. Stayed in queue 3 the entire time. Are they to good to answer the phone??Use to love this place when it was on n Cascade Center. Now it’s just horrible to go into.I refuse to buy anything due to their extremely high prices.I have to go here to get my elderly mom’s medication- this is the worst place. If I could go somewhere else I would!!All employees behind the counter are rude. No one will even acknowledge you or make eye contact. The line takes for ever. Not one polite word - no thank you . The pharmacist acts like he is too good to help out in any way and when asked about my mom’s medication he had no clue. Told me to call her doctor. Usually they tell you if there might be a problem.

Husbands doctor sent in a prescription on 11/24. Called today and on one phone I was on hold and partway through I called on another phone and got through after 6 minutes.Half the time on hold I was #1 in the queue and at one point the hold music and ringing was stopped. I can only assume it is from someone picking up the phone and muting it and leaving it off the hook. After all that wait they said it wasn't on the profile even though his doctor has sent several prescriptions to the store.Look into mail order pharmacy since they can't do basic services for patients.

DO NOT USE THIS STORE. Go to the Rite Aid across the street, they own it anyway, go to Safeway, go anyplace. I have been a customer of this store for 15 years. In the past year I have had nothing but problems, serious problems, including out and out lies. I have waiting on hold for 3 hours, 3 days in a row with the pharmacy to get life sustaining medication refills. I had to contact the corporate office and have them contact the pharmacy to have them call me. Now you can't even do that. No one at corporate is ever there to speak directly to you either. This is a shadow of what it once was. Founded in 1890 I would venture to say the founder is rolling over in his grave. Customer service was once very important to them. They were once part of a person's healthcare team No longer can you count of that. This review saddens me to write, but you need to know before you place you health and safety regarding medication in their hands. THEY DON'T CARE.

Seriously the worst! I'm at 27 minutes of being in hold. No answer; still waiting. All I want to know if there's a medication in stock and I must definitely will NOT EVER use this pharmacy. Not a current customer and never will be after this. 1st Bartell store I called; 15 minutes on hold. Do better.

I understand this Bartels has been having difficulties. You should not however, have to wait on hold 3 hours, only to be hung up on and not receiving an answer to the question you called for. For the past 6 months I have had nothing but trouble with them. I pick up a lot of meds, for myself, my and my sister. It is becoming a far too time consuming. They are falling far below any standard of care.

Consistently doesn’t have the medications my doctor prescribes (including common cough syrup during flu season) and doesn’t help you with getting your medicine transferred to another pharmacy. They also provide no help when you ask why your insurance covered the medicine one month and not the next.

I'm only referring to the pharmacy department . The word that comes to mind is "Cold." They are also unprofessional and somewhat rude, especially when it's busy. I was on hold for over 20 mins. Someone finally answered and I can tell by the tone of her voice that she was agitated. I think the employees need classes on phone etiquettes as well as customer service orientation. This is a stark difference to the grocery side of the store. The clerks are friendly, helpful, and most importantly uphold the demeanor of a neighborhood drugstore employee high the company always advertises.

Been trying to contact the pharmacy since they opened and the store worker in front literally hung up on me twice! I called off a different number and asked for store manager, supposedly it was the store manager that kept hanging up on me. Horrible customer service absolutely horrible!!!!! I will take my business somewhere else from now on. Most unprofessional pharmacy I've dealt with. Who doesn't answer their phones.

The pharmacy does not answer the phone, refills not ready when they say they are. when you get there they aren't ready. They don't load new prescriptions into the app where you can see if they are filled, so you are forced to call and then they act annoyed. They also don't fill new prescriptions until you call and ask them to. This is bs.

Pharmacy location is convenient. Store is tidy. But pharmacy rx is rarely ready when I come despite it being ready days ago. So plan on sticking around about 15 minutes anyways. My zero star would go to the cashier at the front. Almost every time I go in , it's a rude older lady. She's very sour and dour and makes the end of my shopping trip end on a low note every time. When I commented on her rudeness she claimed she never did it and said I misunderstood instead. There is really no use insisting she was, so I will just have to expect it every time. At the very best, the cashier at least is able to scan my items and I pay, which is her job. Just wish there could be a more pleasant check out experience at Bartells than this.

Not one of my favorite places. I've been getting my prescriptions here since 1993. It is the closest place to get my prescriptions filled. My wife knows how I feel about this store and steps up to pick up my orders so she doesn't have to hear me complaining. LOL.Store needs improvement in the pharmacy department.

I ordered and paid for my medications to be delivered on 2/8. They canceled my order. I had stayed home for the five hour window as I had been texted that morning that it was ready. I left a message with the pharmacy. NEVER got a call back. I call today (a week later) and ask for information about what happened and how I can get my meds I paid for. I'm told to call back in 90 min when the supervisor, Dan, comes in. I asked that he call me. I'm told he will call. To no one's surprise that call didn't come. This is not the first issue I've had with this pharmacy. Wish my insurance covered alternatives because this isn't worth the headache. Worst customer service. If you can go elsewhere, I would.
